Horrific story. One of the most pathetic simp MCs I’ve come across. I literally wanted to throw my laptop against the wall by the time I got to the end. AMZZTV’s comment says it well – unless you like stories where the MC has no pride, dignity, or sense of self-worth, and the cheater gets a happy ending, don’t bother reading this. I’d give it negative stars if I could.
Agreed, I don’t really hate NTR stories if the Mc has pride to move on and learn to value himself after being betrayed but in this one, no thanks. I don’t think character development can save the fmc.
This story is amazing, it teaches us that even if you are a cheater you can also have a happy ending, so it’s okay to cheat. 😇
If you feel unsatisfied with the end, Chapter 18 isn’t the last chapter. There’s literally a whole second half of the story told from the FMC’s perspective and low key it makes you start to root for her a bit. You can feel the genuine remorse she feels and not just the regret

This was a tough one.
MC was just a victim the whole way through and the title is misleading. He improved his looks, got popular and had a lot of success in business but it was all a thin veneer and didn’t matter to him. It was all just to cope with her betrayal and it didn’t even work. It felt like the MC never really dealt with his pain or anything and eventually just had to let it go when she saved his life.
He had success but was kind of a shell of a person who didn’t couldn’t put his trust in anyone for years.
All this suffering didn’t even have a good reason for happening in the first place. She cheated for nothing, absolutely nothing.
I regret reading this.
I also regret it – this story was horrific.
