You Came with the First Spring Breeze... - Episode 3: I Like Guys with Big Dicks…
Episode 3: I Like Guys with Big Dicks…
By the time the drinks arrived, I had lost count of how many I had. I wasn’t drunk enough for the world to spin around me, but I was tipsy enough to laugh out loud at Yoshii’s corny dirty jokes.
With one knee up in a triangle and the other leg stretched out, I leaned against the wall, and Aki’s head rested on my shoulder.
If I glanced down, I could see her soft chest creating a deep valley from her wide-open neckline.
Her skirt, covering her knees, revealed well-groomed bare legs.
“Aren’t you cold?”
When I touched her toes with my finger, they were surprisingly chilly, which made me a bit worried.
“It’s still a bit too cold for bare feet and mules. I got too excited with the smell of spring.”
Saying this, she looked up at me, smiling shyly.
My heart raced at the closeness of our gaze.
“Spring has a unique scent, doesn’t it?”
“Yeah, it’s nostalgic and makes me feel a little sad.”
The soft warmth of her body and our conversation—where Aki didn’t ask any unpleasant questions—felt comforting.
Thanks to the alcohol, or perhaps Aki’s reassuring presence, I was able to talk without tension.
Just then…
“We’re heading out first.”
Yoshii said this with a lightbulb moment on his face, exchanging glances with Niina.
“Since it’s an all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen per person, I’ll cover two.”
He placed a 10,000 yen bill and a 1,000 yen bill on the table.
He had taken out money for both of them.
“Huh? Why?”
When I asked, sounding confused like a pigeon hit by a bean shooter, Niina chimed in, “No way!”
“Don’t ask dumb questions!” she pouted.
“Wait, are you two, like, a couple?”
I felt somewhat tricked. Was this really a group date meant to bring Aki and me together?
“No, no!”
Yoshii dramatically waved his hands in front of his face.
“Well, don’t ask dumb questions,” he said, getting up quickly.
“Take care of Aki-chan,” Niina added, also standing up.
“Wait, I’m going too!”
Even in my tipsy state, I couldn’t switch my feelings so easily. I didn’t want to forget my ex-girlfriend just yet. Maybe she’d come back, and I wanted to remain free for that possibility.
As I hurried to get up, Aki pulled my arm.
“Come on! Let’s drink a little longer. I want to be alone with you.”
Her melting gaze looked a bit watery, probably due to the alcohol.
Aki was quite tipsy herself.
“But I…”
“Please. Just stay a little longer.”
Wait, wait!
If she looked at me like that…
I swallowed all my words and slowly returned my lifted butt back to its original position.
“Okay then.”
Yoshii and Niina left the room in a hurry.
As the old sliding door closed, silence fell over the small space, and the atmosphere changed.
I felt about five millimeters less drunk.
My watch indicated that the date was about to change.
“Hey, what did Yoshii say to you? Why did you come here today?”
Aki’s expression remained a smile.
“I asked him to.”
Saying this in a slightly different tone, she took a sip of the red wine on the table.
“My boyfriend cheated on me, and he told me he wanted to break up…”
“Did you break up?”
Aki nodded without looking at me.
Sitting cross-legged with her back slightly rounded, I realized she was carrying a lot on her shoulders. I found myself rubbing her back gently.
It felt like we were fellow sufferers sharing the same pain. And thinking that Aki had been suffering from this pain made me suddenly feel sorry for her, and I wanted to scold myself for saying I’d leave her alone.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know anything about your situation.”
As I murmured this toward her back, Aki quickly turned to face me.
She shook her head vigorously.
“It’s okay! I knew from the start. I wasn’t good enough for him. Now I don’t even know if I truly loved him.”
“I see.”
At that moment, I had no idea how to comfort her. I just wanted to listen to Aki’s story.
“More importantly, Tomoya-kun, what kind of girl do you like?”
“Huh?”
Caught off guard by the sudden shift in topic, a strange sound escaped my mouth.
“What kind of girl do you like?”
Aki completely recovered and repeated her question.
I think most people feel that the person they like is their type.
But I knew Aki wasn’t looking for that kind of answer.
So, I tried to extract my favorite parts from Aki’s expression, her shape, her tone, and how she spoke.
My gaze naturally drifted to her chest.
Every time she moved, they swayed gently.
“Well, I guess… I like people who have big—”
I deliberately mumbled the word “chest” so it wouldn’t be clearly heard.
“Huh? What? I didn’t catch that.”
Leaning forward, she offered her ear.
“So, um… I mean, I like people with big eyes.”
Even if she had caught a hint of what I said, “chest” and “eyes” could easily be mistaken.
Aki smiled knowingly, as if she had just grasped a significant secret.
“Really? What about you? What kind of guy do you like?”
“Well, I…”
“Yeah?”
As I focused intently on Aki’s words, she suddenly burst into laughter.
Covering her mouth with both hands, she laughed so hard I thought she might cry.
“What’s so funny?” I asked, but I couldn’t help but laugh too.
“Stop being coy. Just tell me already!”
“Well, you see…”
“Yeah?”
Still chuckling, Aki said,
“I like guys with big… you know.”
