Yandere and Menhera - Suddenly Having a Yandere Older Stepsister and a Menhera Younger Stepsister Makes Every Day Difficult - Chapter 1 - 47/48
After stepping off the airplane, I finally returned to the home I’d missed for so long. I was all set to call the female director right away to push forward with my school progression plans, but there, with a grave expression, stood Matsuri-nee-san and Ririka, my sister, whom I hadn’t seen in quite a while.
“What’s wrong?”
“Hey, Ryu-kun. Are you really okay with that?”
“Onii-chan, are you seriously planning to go there?”
I immediately understood what the two were talking about, but at the same time, a question arose. How did they know I was about to decide on my high school? The possibilities that came to mind were eavesdropping, or perhaps they were also at the entrance and overheard, but I didn’t want to know the truth.
So, I told them.
“This is about my future, so please let me do this. It seems they have a dormitory system, so I’ll likely end up living in a dorm.”
Hearing this, their expressions turned from what they were before to something terrifying, like demons, and they said while firmly grabbing my shoulders.
“Absolutely not. I won’t allow it. I don’t want to be separated from Ryu-kun.”
“This is for my career path!”
“Ririka hates it too. Onii-chan.”
“But this isn’t for the two of you!”
Then, Matsuri-nee-san seemed to ponder for a moment before she went deeper inside. Ririka, following her, glared at me as she rubbed Matsuri-nee-san’s back.
Ever since this sisterhood came into being, it’s been nothing but a series of inconveniences.
I don’t want to think about why my freedom has been so reduced, to the point where my head is too tired to think about anything, and I collapse onto my bed in my room.

It happened the following morning. Our home’s living room was enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere. As I cautiously approached, I saw Ririka and Matsuri-nee-san sitting on the sofa, deeply sighing while intently looking at the pamphlet about the school I intended to attend.
Unintentionally, I eavesdropped, trying to catch any bits of their conversation without being noticed.
“What should we do if Onii-chan wants to go there?”
“I want Ryu-kun to go where he wants. That’s why I’ve decided.”
“Decided what?”
“We’re going to move close to that school.”
“I’m fine with it. Moving sounds fun!”
What I gleaned from the sisters’ conversation was their resolve and how much they had been troubled. It made me realize how focused I had been solely on myself.
But now, I couldn’t trouble them further by changing my actions. With my mind made up, I stepped into the living room.
“Go, good morning.”
“Mm, Ryu-kun, good morning!♡”
“Onii-chan, good morning!”
The sisters greeted me with beaming smiles, acting as if yesterday’s concerns had vanished. When my gaze fleetingly shifted to the table, Ririka quickly picked something up, acting as if the pamphlet had never been there.
“Breakfast isn’t ready yet!”
“Ah, okay.”
Despite my resolved heart, I did not discuss anything detailed until the evening. Realizing that dinner might be my chance to talk, I broached the subject as soon as we sat down for the meal.
“About my choice of school…”
“Hmm?”
“I’ve decided I want to attend that high school.”
“Okay, that’s fine!”
“I’m sorry, but I overheard your conversation this morning.”
“Oh, is that so? Then, it’s okay for us to move there, too, right?”
“About that, I want you two to stay here. It would be unfair to Ririka to change schools suddenly, and Nee-san, you can’t just quit your school now, can you?”
As I spoke, the sisters pondered silently, quietly sipping their miso soup.
