Yandere and Menhera - Suddenly Having a Yandere Older Stepsister and a Menhera Younger Stepsister Makes Every Day Difficult - Chapter 1 - 43/44
Before the next match, standing in front of the tatami, I listened to the words and cheers from the coach while glancing towards the venue’s door, only to be met with a sight that made me want to rub my eyes in disbelief. I wanted to believe that what I was seeing was a hallucination because Matsuri-san was there.
“Ryusuke?”
“Ah, Coach, my apologies.”
“What’s the matter? Were you listening?”
“Yes, I’m sorry.”
“Focus.”
“Yes, I’ll win.”
My name was called. I convinced myself that Matsuri-san wasn’t there and focused on the match, but during the match, a “wait” was called, and when I looked towards the coach, Matsuri-san appeared on the screen.
It was unbelievable. Why would she come all this way?
Filled with such thoughts but not wanting to lose, I used every second I had to snatch a victory with a skilled move.
After stepping down from the tatami and receiving praise from the coach, I returned to my belongings to find Matsuri-san sitting there.
This wasn’t a hallucination. I was pulled back to reality.
“San?!?”
“Yup♡”
“…Why are you here?”
“I had to see Ryusuke-kun’s brave figure!”
“When did you come?”
“It’s a secret.♡”
I just felt a chill down my spine. I had thought she would quietly wait at home and not come at all. I simply pinched Matsuri-san’s cheek and said,
“It’s an important match. I don’t want to be disturbed.”
“Eh, Onee-chan is a disturbance…? Eh, sorry. Please forgive me. I’ll do anything, please.”
Matsuri-san’s brown eyes turned pitch black.
“Does Ryusuke-kun hate Onee-chan? Don’t want me? Want to kill me?”
“No, I didn’t say that?!”
“Please, don’t abandon me. I’ll fix whatever is wrong.”
Matsuri-san clung to me as if she was broken, enhancing my fear. I quickly wiped off my sweat and decided to wait outside for the next match, but Matsuri-san always appeared wherever I went.
“San!”
“What, what?”
“Please go back home!”
“Ryusuke-kun… I’m sorry for being such a bad Onee-chan.”
Feeling guilty for perhaps saying too much, I somehow felt relieved that Matsuri-san agreed to return.
I returned to the venue and focused on my next opponent, a skilled player with a good back grip, feeling anxious yet encouraged by the coach’s belief in my victory. Unaware of Matsuri-san’s state then, I stood in front of the tatami, chatting and laughing with the coach, waiting for the match.

“Ryusuke-kun, Onee-chan would do anything for you.”
“Onee-chan can give anything to Ryusuke-kun.”
“Onee-chan, Onee-chan loves Ryusuke-kun so much.”
“I love you. Truly love you.”

Outside and inside the venue, the absence of my sister’s figure brought me relief as I stepped onto the tatami for my next match. My opponent was a guy my age, rumored to be quite strong. Not only were his pulling and lifting techniques powerful, but his grappling was skilled, leaving no openings. I wondered how I could find a way to win as the call to “begin” echoed through the venue.
Deciding to attack first, I stepped forward boldly, but he took a step back, inviting me into his stance for grappling.
The fear that stepping into his range might lead me to be taken down struck me in an instant. But retreating and losing here would be meaningless. Bravely entering his territory, I was quickly grabbed by the back collar and the sleeve near the armpit, putting me in a precarious situation where I could be taken down by inner thigh throw, sweeping hip throw, or jumping hip throw.
I had to somehow escape.
While thinking this, I skillfully avoided his techniques.
After persisting for about two minutes, an opportunity arose. I matched my timing to his foot as he attempted a minor technique, sending my foot flying. Caught off guard, he fell to his buttocks.
If I could push him down and score from here, it would be significant. I unleashed my power and forced his back to the mat.
“Waza-ari!”
The referee’s call rang out.
The match continued at my pace, and I clinched the victory. If things went smoothly, I could reach the finals in three more matches.
I was lost in thought about this as I returned to my seat and gulped down some water.
Suddenly, coming to my senses after the match, I started to worry a bit about what had become of Matsuri-san.
☆☆☆
“Onee-chan won’t let Ryusuke-kun go.”
I’m not disliked by him. I’m fine. I’m not a yandere. I just love Ryusuke-kun.
I won’t let him escape. He can’t do without me.
I just wanted to support him, so I came to the venue. It felt wrong to be sent away, but showing up suddenly must have been embarrassing. After all, if such a beautiful girlfriend appeared, someone might take me away from him.
But it’s okay. Because I can’t love anyone but Ryusuke-kun.
