Wives of the Battle God! - Chapter 12- Veil of Separation~2!
A long, long time ago there was a period when the battle between Demons and Humans was continuously breaking the heavens and hell.
The leader of the Demon side, Damian the Lord who ruled over the dark world and the Monarch of everything which wasn’t a human, sent his soldiers to occupy the rest of the land from the hands of measly creatures.
And the Emperor of the United Council and the person who has bestowed the blessing of the Highest God Seagmus was countering the continuous onslaught of the beings who never feared death.
Demons were vicious and fearless. They never cared who died or whom they killed. They just had one greed and that was to hunt.
But the human side was feeling the despair of everyday battle and how the number of sacrifices was amplifying without any hope of stopping any time soon.
If things had gone as they were, maybe in a hundred years, only one race would have survived with Humanity most probably on the cessation end.
Then came a truce. An agreement between the Ruler of Hell and the Greater Gods that there should be a balance of everything in this world and so would be on this small orb called Nebula.
(A/N: -> Nebula= Planet)
The Veil of Separation.
They created a division of the land and separated the two races to bring some peace to the never-ending chaos. It was a decision taken because the fear of losing one of the most potentially carrying planets.
Since that time, Nebula was parted in two with half of the side completely divided from the other. No one knows how to breach their border or to say, the border has never been discovered.
As the name suggests. It’s a veil. It’s a covering that was made to not be uncovered and divide the two nemeses which might have brought the end for various things.
But after those many years of peace and prosperity, the veil has started to fade for some reason. It was concluded that something or someone from the demonic side has brought this effect.
And for that announcement, the First Commander of the Third Legion among the others in the Grand Order came in the [S] unit of the first year.
“Before I start, I want all of you to contact your family or whoever you feel close to. Reason would be told but not now. So go ahead and talk to them in the next three minutes.”
The burly man who had a scar om his left cheek spoke in a heavy tone as he looked at his watch for an instance and passed the command.
The students were in confusion about what he just said but looking at the man’s expression, the brilliant students of the ‘S’ unit understood that if they don’t use these three minutes, they are so gonna regret it later.
Just like that, various display devices started popping up and little murmurs soon started erupting from different corners. Even Gisele was no different as she called her mother and just told her that she might be not in contact for some days.
Ethan was just sitting solemnly in his seat with his head resting on his adjoined fingers. The people he cares for were all in school. He doesn’t need to make any move for that now.
Those parents from the upper society knew what and why this drill was for and so they didn’t ask for anything more than to take care of. The families from lower status were worried but they also couldn’t ask their children since they know how strange the regulations of the Academy is.
After three minutes all of the calls were turned off. Not voluntarily but forcibly by an emission that waved throughout the classroom.
“EMP?!”
Gisele gasped upon the instant realization of what the Militant standing on the podium just used to cut off the connections.
“That would be enough for the next three months. Since after today, no one from this school is going to interact with people from the outside world.”
The words were like a heavy command which offered no way of reproach. The atmosphere was heavy enough to make the students fret about what was going to be spoken.
“The Veil of Separation has been depleted to some extent and soon there might erupt the worst nightmare of Nebula.”
The reverberation of gasps couldn’t be profpund as the students heard the piece of information. But their reaction didn’t make any effect on the Militant as he continued.
Ethan’s expression was the same as ever except for the sigh he felt leaking upon hearing how inexact the council have taken this matter.
‘I better finish my preparation as soon as possible… ‘
