With great powers, comes a great harem! - Chapter 92- Abducted
As Kurokawa Yuiichi told Yuki, indeed someone was controlling the eight participants who took the stage to challenge Yuki.
The two were blended in the crowd watching indifferently at how easily their pawns were defeated—who were meant to tire Yuki out.
The purpose of these uninvited guests joining this celebration was to kidnap Yuki. They have done all their preparation based on the requirement to separate the others from Yuki. However, if only the target had been a little tired things would become easier.
“Rokuro, I think we should be moving to Phase B. The target seems stronger than what we expected. Sending in more pawns would be nothing but useless and it might raise suspicion.” The young woman with silver long hair and red eyes spoke in a tone that only the man beside her could hear.
Her features were extremely symmetrical and beautifully crafted. High nose, plump red lips, and big bright eyes. If she remains still at one spot one might mistake her as a sculpture crafted by one of the best craftsmen.
Wearing an overcoat she stood beside the man and has done no particular movement to gain the attention of other guests.
In response to her suggestion, the man whom she called Rokuro, narrowed his dull yellow eyes at Yuki before he asked, “If young lady Akira-sama deems the timing to be appropriate then this lowly one has no qualm to object.”
The young lady in question grinned before she directed her gaze toward Yuki and suddenly her eyes dilated.
The smile never faltered as she kept her focus on Yuki for a moment before some words left her curved lips, “Got him. It was easy~”
Rokuro, in response, inserted his left glove-clad hand inside his pocket before tapping on the screen terminal resting inside.
In the next moment, every person inside the room felt a sensation akin to their ears getting pierced by something sharp.
*SHLLLLLLIIIIIINNNNKKKKK*
A very high-pitched sound resonated across the hall and made nearly every single person fall to their knees and some even fell unconscious right away.
Their ears began to bleed and their mind turned hazy. The sensation of their head splitting made many cry in pain as the suffering was too extreme to keep their consciousness awake.
Only a few people, including Ryouya, Yuiichi, and Kaede remained standing on their feet but they also weren’t completely unfazed. Kaede’s ears were bleeding for which she had to take a potion instantly to not let her senses go numb.
However, just these few people standing doesn’t change the fact that once a celebration environment was turned into a graveyard of half dead people.
Rokuro tapped another switch before every other exit of the venue was sealed. A signal jammer was activated and soon the remaining exit was used as an entrance for more than thirty men.
Rokuro focused on the white-haired man who had already wielded his sword and had his eyes directed towards Rokuro.
“Leave that man to me. Handle the rest.” Rokuro commanded before he threw away his overcoat to the side and removed his hat to reveal his charismatic face.
The guards heeded the command and moved toward Kaede and Yuiichi, intending to keep them busy.
Throughout the incident, if there was someone who hadn’t moved an inch from his spot, then it was Yuki. Blood trailed down his ears and veins protruded on his neck and head however, despite all the visible pain, he wasn’t able to move at all.
The young lady hopped her way toward Yuki while humming happily. She thought this would be a little more challenging and fun, but well. Until she could get her hands on this guy, everything would turn out to be fine.
“Hmm?” Suddenly, the girl named Akira tilted her head as she found her position being swapped by the blond girl whom she thought to have fainted.
Maya had somehow retained her consciousness as she supported her body on her wobbly legs and shook Yuki desperately, “Yuki-sama! Please say something. I can’t use my spell on you….you need to move…” Maya initially tried teleporting Yuki away from the hall since his safety was her foremost priority.
However, within her subconscious where she locks someone’s position and sends them through a different dimension to appear somewhere else—in that subconscious, she couldn’t find Yuki at all. It was like, he was visible yet he wasn’t here at all.
“Missy~can you remove your hands from him?” Maya gritted her teeth, as she realized who was behind her before she swung her left arm behind her back.
Maya was surprised since the opponent didn’t even try to block or evade and the dagger Maya was holding plunged inside the woman’s head.
“Aha~quite feisty~” To Maya’s utmost shock, the seven-inch deep wound didn’t affect the red-eyed woman at all, as she tilted her head, with a mad grin on her face.
Maya summoned a circle around the opponent’s neck to separate her head—just like how she did with her ex-assistant back in the Tower.
However, before her head could have been detached through her spell, the mad woman herself pulled her head away from the body without a single thought, all while maintaining that bloody grin.
“You were aiming for this right? Now, can you see how futile your spells are on me?”
While holding her head with her long white hair, the woman stated with her eyes turning crescent.
Maya’s heart was leaping in beats as she once again attempted the teleport the woman away from them—only to find her spell breaking mid-way because of a piercing sensation passing right through her belly.
“Ugh…ah…” Maya winced with a pained expression as she stared down at the arm of the mad woman which had just penetrated her stomach and burst through her back without any resistance.
Blood spurted out of Maya’s mouth as she found her eyes darkening.
In those final moments, all she was able to hear was the words from the woman, which would haunt Maya for a long time,
“Realize the difference between us and despair. From the start, someone like you never was worthy to serve him.”
Those were the final words Maya heard before she collapsed on the ground after Akira pulled her bloodied hand out.
“Ah…you seem pretty mad~” Finding those eyes of Yuki, turned shot red and the subtle sign of movement he was showing, Akira knew, she had just attacked Yuki by damaging the girl.
Akira attached her head back to the place. She stepped on Maya’s head and crossed over her to wrap her arms around Yuki’s body like a viper, as she whispered sweetly in his ear,
“I can’t see you in pain. Here—” Biting her thumb she drew a single crimson pearl before dropping it on Maya’s wound.
Yuki’s eyes, which were the only part of his body that was moving, widened in shock as he witnessed the miraculous recovery of Maya.
Akira grinned at that before she slithered out her small and red tongue, and licked Yuki’s neck.
“You smell so tempting right now~ ahh~”
Akira knew it was pointless to keep staying here. That’s why, taking advantage of the chaos that ensued in the hall, she tapped her heel on the ground and a crimson curtain of blood surrounded her and Yuki.
Once the curtain disappeared only a ring of several runic symbols was left on the floor, while Yuki and Akira disappeared from the place.
On his sixteenth birthday, Shirazawa Yuki was abducted by a mysterious woman.
