When Maya returned from her previous dorm room, she sensed some kind of awkwardness between Yuki and Shio. While she was not too brilliant when it came to matters like these, seeing the blushing face of Shio and her limping posture, Maya discerned what might have happened when she was not around.

Her heart gripped at the thought of her Lord embracing someone who was not Maya. His warmth, which she once resolved to gain solely for herself, was now being shared with someone else as well. However, she didn’t complain to Yuki, about it.

Maya has long accepted Shio as a part of the family. Not just because Shio has taken care of her Lord when Maya was away, but also, Shio in general adores and cares about Yuki a lot.

Although it was disheartening, Maya had convinced herself to not let her jealousy come in between the relationship she had built with Yuki and Shio.

“Yuki-sama, do you have any plans for tomorrow?” Maybe she was indeed just curious or she wanted to remove the troublesome thoughts from her head, Maya asked.

It wasn’t like Yuki was unaware of Maya’s trouble…however, he didn’t talk about it right away. It would have made things more complicated and awkward.

Rather he chose to answer her question, “No…do you have any plan for tomorrow?”

As he picked the chicken piece from his plate, Yuki asked back.

Today’s dinner was a little burnt, all thanks to the delay Yuki brought to Shio’s cooking.

“Yuki-kun, can you take us shopping tomorrow?” Hearing the query, Yuki nodded without any hesitation.

“Sure.” The faces of both girls brightened at that—however, his following words lessened their enthusiasm in an instant,

“We should invite Nee-san for the trip as well.”

Yuki casually proposed, as it had been a while since he had gone shopping with his sister. He remembered, that in the past, Amaye always used to online shopping during the sale period to save herself money. However, things are different now.

“Umm…Yuki-kun…it may become a little odd if we buy things in Amaye-nee’s presence.” Hearing Shio’s words, Yuki frowned in confusion.

“What do you mean?”

It wasn’t like Yuki was pretending to be oblivious. Anyone could tell that he was genuinely unsure of why Shio would suggest something like that.

In response, Shio just sighed and shrugged, “Forget it. I will talk to Amaye-nee.”

Later at night, Yuki received a call from his sister, regarding the fact that how insensitive he was. Yuki was flabbergasted by all the scolding but being a good younger brother, he didn’t interrupt her and listened to all her berating.

[Don’t forget to make the trip enjoyable for both of them.]

And with that, she disconnected the call.

With a sigh, Yuki walked back inside the room, only to find a grinning Shio awaiting inside, and a slightly flustered Maya, trying to steal her eyes away from Yuki.

‘Seriously…just when I think I can understand women…’

[Next Day]

Most parts of Japan get enveloped in a pretty shade of white with heavy snow all around. The atmosphere of the streets at these times became lively with every shop now decorated with fancy lights and colors.

Thanks to modern technology, no roads or streets are being blocked by snow. The use of mana stone to prepare golems has become a common practice for heavy work. And modern-day machinery can accomplish things that could be regarded as unbelievable less than a century ago.

That was why after boarding the bus which transported them to the center of Shibuya, Shio suggested that they should walk around the market for a bit before going to the nearest mall for shopping.

Today, Shio was wearing a turtleneck dark blue sweater with a white skirt and black stockings. The pair of black heels and her overall get-up provided a mature charm to the girl as she happily looked around the place.

Meanwhile, Maya wore black denim jeans with a white shirt and a jacket for the occasion. Considering how they need to move around a lot, she chose to wear something comfortable…well, she was forced to wear this by Shio and Amaye so there was no choice of hers in this.

Originally, Maya was going to wear something to impress her Lord. That’s why Maya took out a kimono she had in her wardrobe…however, Amaye and Shio instantly rejected the idea. And hearing her Lord compliment her apparel, Maya thought that it was better to listen to others when it came to things, which Maya was not too brilliant about.

Meanwhile, Yuki had a dark green jacket worn over a shirt and paired up with white jeans. His silver hair had grown enough to cover his forehead, so Yuki decided to tie it behind his head.

However, he never thought this small change would garner so much attention from the people.

“I think you should untie your hair, after all, Yuki-kun.” Hearing Shio’s grumble, Yuki chuckled.

“It’s not about just his hair, Yuki-sama looks excessively eye-catching today for some reason.” Maya also spoke in a condensed tone as she found numerous women glancing at her Lord with unhealthy intentions.

Yuki was now slightly embarrassed by the compliment his lovers were throwing at him.

“You guys are overthinking things…ah, let’s go and see if we can buy something there.” To divert their attention from glaring at people, Yuki held their hands(he was walking in between them) before pulling Shio and Maya toward the nearby shop.

[At the same time]

In one of the alleys that could be commonly found in populated places like Shibuya, a group of four people could be seen currently grouped together.

Their stature allowed them to stand in a circle as they continued their discussion,

“What about the others?” One of the masked men asked in a slightly hoarse tone.

“They are on standby. Need signal and they would initiate blending in.” Another one responded after checking his old-fashioned flip-flop phone which barely could be found in this era.

“We need them to visit a specific location before initiating the plan. Any hastiness and this chance might never arrive.” The one with the tallest frame warned.

“The day of celebration is nearing so indeed we have only this chance.” The one who closed his phone, affirmed how little time they have to finish this mission.

“But remember, we need to keep the chaos away from the heiress of Karuizawa. We cannot afford to harm her.”

The others nodded at that.

“So now, let’s get started. Arrange the Generators and call the boys to recheck their ammunition. I am going to hack into surveillance and Nakura will handle the local authorities.”

Once told and done, everyone departed from the alley.
