With great powers, comes a great harem!

In the eyes of Catherine, there was nothing more than the intent of murder at the moment. She wanted to kill someone and that someone was Yuki.

The incident last night was proven to be a baseless attempt to kill the bastard who was worthless enough to be thrown out of the clan by his own parents. He was nothing but trash who was ruining her lady’s life so why doesn’t Catherine play the role of the bad guy and kill Shirazawa Yuki right here and right now?

She would surely get saved from the authorities, right? After all, Catherine was doing what the higher-ups desired, so there should be no problem.

‘That’s right, you need to die, Shirazawa Yuki..you need to-‘

“HOW DARE YOU!!”

At that moment, the blood lust Catherine carried for Yuki, soon took a massive turn as her facial shade turned pale in fret. Her movements halted, not because she was under some spell rather the intent blood lust emitting from her behind was making her blood flow in reverse and a chilling current ran across her spine.

The air seemed to have frozen under the terror of Maya’s wrath. The people around the vicinity took a step back in fear upon seeing the strongest first year in such an unusually furious mood. Some even chanted an artificial barrier and some chose to simply run away.

“My la-*DHAK*” Catherine only had merely time to turn on her feet and try addressing Maya before her body fell to the ground.

“Huh?” Even Yuki couldn’t help but widen his eyes in shock upon witnessing the corpse of Catherine which was missing a major part of her body.

Catherine was beheaded.

The students gasped in pure astonishment and mind-wobbling shock upon realizing what had transpired just now.

Untraceable to the bare eyes of those many superhumans Maya just manipulated the very reality around Catherine’s neck and detached her head before throwing it…

*DAK*

The head of the fallen assistant fell on the ground not so far away, proving the theories of many to be right.

Even the second-ranked first-year Anna was taken aback by the skill Maya utilized with such fluency.

‘S-She…bend the reality…insane…’ Anna was surely not going to recover from this shock any time soon, that was given.

Yuki got up on his feet, his eyes never leaving the lifeless body of the headless assistant but soon he had to divert his attention as Maya suddenly arrived before him.

“Yuki-sama…a-are you alright? Sh-She didn’t hurt you right…”

Yuki’s shock from the previous incident turned into borderline amusement upon witnessing the previously bloodthirsty Maya now being all concerned and stuttering like Yuki had returned from war.

The image of being the cold and indifferent Maya has started to fade away.

“I am fine, Maya…rather is it really fine to-”

“What has been happening here?”

Before Yuki could ask about her well-being, suddenly a booming voice emerged along with the appearance of a young adult.

Every eye turned toward the brown-haired man wearing the uniform of a school guard. He wore a frown over his brows, definitely not pleased with such a severe crime committed in the middle of the day without any stress of repercussions.

Yuki was about to take the initiative and pacify the situation by saying that he would go to the administration and accept the punishment. But…

“You are security in charge of the first-year dorms, right? Travis Lukehart?”

The brown-haired guard was seemingly taken aback hearing his name and position in the guarding units being stated by Maya all of a sudden.

But before he could say something, Maya continued, “The thirty-first section of the regulation list, there is an article that states that any student who brings their own assistant from outside, they are independent to do anything with them. And killing them is also one of those things. So I don’t find anything wrong here. And if about the Public disturbance, I have caused, then I will duly pay the compensation before this day turns dark, so it is advisable for you to not interfere with a student’s personal space.”

The guard looked embarrassed hearing those rules which he also nearly forgot even though he was the security in-chief.

If anyone else then Travis might have considered taking them in for an interrogation of breaking the law like this but considering Maya’s background and how swiftly she could slay someone’s neck, the guard refrained.

“…Someone will come up to clean the place. Report to administration office before evening.”

And with that Maya created herself a reputation which surely is going to make people wary of her in the future.

Back in his dorm room, both Maya and Yuki sat beside each other on the couch.

Even after such commotion…Shio was still asleep. For a moment Yuki got tensed but when he heard the whining and calling his name in her sleep, Yuki calmed down.

Maya and Yuki haven’t talked much after returning inside the room.

Maya was apprehensive at the thought of being disliked by Yuki for her brash decisions but when he voiced his thoughts on the matter, her shoulders visibly relaxed.

“You…did a great job, Maya. That woman was the mediator who was informing everything about you and me to your family and not talking about that attack last night. ”

Hearing his praises Maya seemed to be melting in the heat of embarrassment as her back arched and a long sigh escaped her lips.

“What…you thought I would dislike the fact that you killed someone, Maya?”

Realizing how easily she was being read like an open book, Maya straightened her back before turning her face in his direction.

“I-I mean…it was quite-”

“Awesome? In my eyes, it was incredibly awesome Maya. You have grown strong in the time when I was away.”

In excitement, Yuki took hold of her hand and the barrage of his praises made it nearly impossible for Maya to resist anymore as she immediately hid her face behind her palm.

Since her other hand was in Yuki’s hold she was only able to hide a part of her face, which thoroughly amused Yuki.

Seeing his smile from this close, Maya nearly shouted in panic.

“Don’t look, Yuki-sama! I am being weird right now!”

“Haha, what’s weird in here? The only thing my eyes could see is my lovely Maya.”

“Gah…”

Maya had to take sick leave for that day.
