Yuki was surrounded and cornered.

The scientific mutant who had cut off all the signals and mana connection within the infirmary was right in front. The other goons wearing the staff uniform were also now on their feet, ready to lunge at them any moment.

Maya was powerless since being a mage all her strength remained in her magical skills, not to talk about Shio who was never a combat fighter in the first place.

Yuki had no weapon with him. All his skills are useless without a single ounce of mana. He was still suffering slightly because of the injury and poison which was making his vision a little blurry.

But was it enough to make him kneel and surrender?

‘Like hell… ‘ With no evident expression currently over his visage, Yuki launched himself forward with the floor cracking at his departure.

‘!!! ‘ The humanoid machine got into a tentative potion as he placed his both forearms in front of his face to block the incoming attack.

Yuki’s knuckles slammed onto the mutant’s defense and the receiver of the blow slid some centimeters against his force of gravity as well, indicating Yuki’s physical prowess which was anything but average.

“Khuk…you are strong! ” The mutant smirked before he raised his knee within the very next second he blocked the attack, aiming for Yuki’s pelvis.

Utilizing his other hand, Yuki blocked the attack with a strong slam before he leaped backward some steps and delivered a roundhouse kick with his front of the feet striking the man to the tricep.

The mutant wasn’t agile enough, Yuki noted which prompted him to call the system.

‘Show my stats. ‘ Yuki glanced at Maya and Shio and found that Maya was pretty much handling the other goons quite easily while using the medical tools as her weapon.

Shio was…cheering for Maya. Well, at least she was unharmed and Yuki could have asked nothing more.

After his battle with Kuroi, his level has gone up by two and there was a hefty amount of remaining stats.

Blocking a punch that the janitor bastard threw at him, Yuki commanded his system, ‘Fifteen to speed and ten to strength. ‘

The surge of energy that rushed through his nerves made Yuki realize how quick and convenient the point distribution was to allow him to strengthen himself without even needing mana.

“Oraaa! Take this! ” The man, despite being slow, was strong enough to create a small gust where his fist landed, signifying how badly it would hurt if one of those struck Yuki.

Ducking, Yuki dodged another bash, before he wrapped his arms around the man’s waist and tried to yank him to the wall opposite them.

But, “Uh-uh-uh. ” The man didn’t budge which made Yuki realize how open he had left himself.

But it was too late since the mutant soon brought his elbow high to his face level before slamming it on Yuki’s back hard.

*DHAK*

Yuki dropped to the ground, but he didn’t stop there knowing the consequences of the slightest bit of delay.

Moving this giant off his feet was no joke, Yuki noted so he patiently waited for the man to slam his foot on Yuki’s back.

“TAKE THIS YOU NUGGET! ” And surely, the brute force made Yuki spit out in agony but he didn’t let his pain take over as he supported his body on his palm and toes before sliding backward at an unexpected pace from someone who was lying on the ground.

“Ah… ” The mutant exclaimed as he lost his bearing and began falling on his back. Yuki knelt on the floor before taking hold of the man’s risen feet and pushed him off the mark.

The man fell to his butt due to successive assaults from Yuki.

The situation has reversed within seconds. Now Yuki stood above the man who despite being strong, definitely was inexperienced in battles and tactics.

Yuki didn’t wait and while fueling his fists with the anger he carried for the bastard, he clasped both of his hands and jumped on his feet. His figure roared like a wild wolf in the thinly lighted infirmary as for a second every gaze from the ambushers and the two girls turned to look at Yuki.

“Oh lord… ” The mutant was able to mutter only such before a boulder-weighted hammer fist struck in the middle of his chest, cracking something upon the impact.

“HAKKK!!” The man cried as the pain was inflicted deep down near his heart. Blood spat like sprinkler, dying Yuki’s cold face along with it but that didn’t stop him from reeling his fist and slamming it hard on the man’s face.

The punches that followed on the mutant’s face were completely untraceable for him since the speed Yuki was launching them was frightening even for Maya to watch.

Yuki was agitated and the person who was the source of his fury was right beneath him. He couldn’t have asked for anything better.

“Akh…. ” Yuki gasped as suddenly he felt his breath struggling to circulate in his body

Lowering his gaze he found that the man had tightly wrapped his legs around Yuki’s midsection and had crossed his feet in a tight grasp behind Yuki.

Yuki’s assault naturally came to pause as the man finally seemed to get the upper hand in the fight. Despite having his face bruised and eyes swollen, the evil smirk the Mutant wore could be seen from miles away.

“Now my turn-”

The Mutant was about to grasp Yuki’s throat and retaliate in the most brutal manner humanity has ever witnessed but upon seeing the bright amber flames covering Yuki’s left hand, the Mutant knew something for sure.

‘I am screwed… ‘ The effect of the Mana EMP have wore off which meant Yuki could use his newly learned elemental magic.

And such…he didn’t even think twice before planting his ferociously burning hand over the mutant’s head and allowing the flames to dance wildly.

“AAAAAGHHHHHH!!” The mutant howled a deathly scream as his face soon began to turn red under the extreme temperature.

“UGHAAAAAA!!”

“HELP! HELLLPP MEE!!!! ”

“MONSTER! SHE IS A MON-AHHHHHH!! ” Yuki didn’t have to raise his head to know why those assailants were shouting in pure horror and misery.

Maya was on a rampage.

On the other side, Yuki felt the grasp around his torso loosening up. The Mutant tried flailing and removing Yuki’s hand from his face but to no avail.

The Mutant wasn’t able to resist a mana-less Yuki so this version of him who had fortified himself with magical essence was impossible for the naive bastard to get rid of.

It was then, when suddenly…

“Cease this right at this instance!” Yuki turned his head along with the other two to witness several professors and guards walking inside, led by the blue-haired senior professor Kazuya.

Not only Maya but Yuki as well have been caught killing a person and the consequences of their actions would be world-shattering…but not for these two, rather….
