Too bad I woke up inside a shoujo manga, reincarnated as the forgettable second male lead who loses the main girl. That's right, I'm the guy who exists just to make the heroine realize how perfect her "true love" is.
And the worst part? I know exactly how this story ends. Spoiler alert: not in my favor.
But I'm not here to play background character anymore. If fate already decided I'm not the one she'll choose, then fine, I'll write my own story. I'm not chasing the heroine. I'm not getting in the way. All I want is peace... A peaceful mob life.
Except now the main love interest is suspicious of me, the heroine keeps talking to me more than she should, and side characters I barely remember suddenly have feelings?

I like this, it is well written. As to the great debate.. FMC or not FMC… Well, it all comes down to the plot and how 8t unfolds… Personally, I’d be happy if she is forced to suffer, but as of the free chapters there is no indication that the CF is a bad guy. When she ran from the house, I was expecting that CF had made an unwelcome move and she didn’t like it, so as it stands if FMC and CF make a good couple, I am happy for MC to find happiness elsewhere. I hope there is no sis on, but it would be nice for him to break her emo ways and make the family a priority in the short term, and while teenagers are teenagers, it would be nice if he can bring them all closer. However if CF turns out to be a douche, I’m not against MC taking her back after she has been forced to mature. Plus MC can maybe have a bit of a glow up and maybe get popular to driver her a bit nuts first.
the story is kind of sad, but I want to continue to the very end.

It’s interesting and I’m looking forward to reading more. But honestly, I don’t want Miyuki to be the main love interest/heroine. She looks down on MC while gushing over the other friend and she only starts thinking about the MC and getting upset about him leaving her alone because she misses having someone simp over her.
Ok, it seems like it’s going straight to Miyuki as main/only heroine and the way she becomes interested in MC is unsatisfying and too quick while it looks like there’s no comeuppance for her either.
To be clear, MC says the story was a shoujo manga but it was really a BSS story. Miyuki is a classic BSS heroine and she only becomes interested after time-travek shenanigans. I don’t mind redeemed heroines but only after they get some zama first. MC is just a complete weak-willed Simp and he’s declaration to stay as a side mob character is already quickly falling to the wayside. And that’s literally the setup that made this story interesting at first.
I’m dropping this.
