When the person I used to admire, turned out to be a Yandere!

The hospital was actually empty on the third floor when I and Emiko-san walked in.

She somehow was able to calm herself down and the only thing she requested after waking up was:

‘From next time, give me a week’s worth of pre-notice, Haru-kun…I nearly died right there!’

I didn’t know what she meant by it or about what she needed a notice for, but from what I could guess, Emiko-san wasn’t very good with compliments.

‘Then how does she handle so much popularity?.. ‘ Each post of hers on social media has thousands of compliments and praises. Even some famous movie stars and other models comment on how good Emiko-san’s skills and looks are.

‘Does it mean, this circumstance of hers is only limited to me… ‘ The thought sent a set of butterflies inside my belly but I somehow suppressed a silly grin spreading over my lips as we moved toward the OT.

I could see Masato-san restlessly pacing to and fro in worry which made me a little concerned as well.

Speeding my pace a little bit, I arrived by his side and asked, “Is everything alright, Masato-san?”

“Ah, Haruki…why did you come so early?”

“I mean, I didn’t have much to do in the morning and I also didn’t want to leave you alone today. ”

It was not just him but I also didn’t want to be alone. The person we both adore was in a critical phase and for the next few hours, it would be vital whether we could see Nee-san again or not.

Masato-san smiled in understanding before his gaze shifted to the lady who stood on my right.

Before Masato-san could have said anything I voiced out my thoughts, “I wasn’t able to introduce her to you properly before. ”

I gently held Emiko-san’s hand while fighting an embarrassing blush off my face before announcing my relationship with her.

“She’s my girlfriend, Harada Emiko. ”

“Oh….heh?” Masato-san wasn’t the only one with such a reaction since I could feel the widened gaze of Emiko-san fixated on me.

The reaction was worth taking some pictures but I held back and turned to look at Emiko-san.

I didn’t have to voice it out before she understood my intention. She looked surprised and slightly elated by my bold decision which brought a sense of relief to me since I thought this decision might not be liked by her.

Removing her mask and glasses, Emiko-san provided the second dose of a shock to Masato-san before she bowed slightly and introduced herself.

“I have been in Haruki-kun’s care. Nice to meet you, Ichiji-san.”

I have seen different sides of hers, like the pajama-wearing wild Emiko-san and the blushing mess Emiko-san. But I didn’t know she had such a polite side to her as well.

‘Would it sound rude if I tell this to her… ‘ I decided to keep it to myself.

“Yes, nice to meet you. ”

Masato-san also bowed in slight fluster before both parties stood there awkwardly. I was about to pacify this situation when two voices called out for me.

“Can I have a quick talk with you Haru-kun/Haruki?”

Both Masato-san and Emiko-san said at the same time which was kind of hilarious. My brother-in-law couldn’t have felt this much overwhelmed like he was at the moment so I gave a look of understanding to Emiko-san and dragged Masato-san away.

“Tell me.”

“Tell me? You tell me?! How, when, and why Harada Emiko is introducing herself as your girlfriend when you- let’s forget about it. Tell me something seriously Haruki… you are not being in some kind of reality show or getting pranked right? ”

This was the first thought that came into my mind when I was offered by Emiko-san so I could understand where Masato-san was coming from.

Sighing, I replied in a calm tone, “It’s nothing like that, Masato-san. We both like each other and have been chatting through social media under false names for a while. It was shocking for me as well when I got to see her but there’s nothing like a prank and all, involved in our relationship.”

There was no way in seven hell I would have told him about the verbal contract I shared with Emiko-san. I made up this plan just a moment ago when I decided I would not hide Emiko-san’s identity from the people who were close to me.

I have deduced by now that Emiko-san wants to be recognized as my girlfriend…she wants to enjoy a normal couple-like life with me. I couldn’t start being affectionate to her like a regular boyfriend since my feelings were mainly limited to admiration and slight fascination, like how a male gains interest in a beautiful woman. But seeing how devoted Emiko-san is toward our relationship, I could also try at least.

Masato-san remained silent for a bit, evidently contemplating my words before he exhaled a long sigh and spoke with his hand dropping over my shoulder, “Listen Haruki…I trust your decision and until you are happy, I have no issue as well. But always remember, if anything happens or you need some kind of advice, I will always be here for you.”

[Emiko’s POV: ]

“Why did you do that, Haruki-kun?” Even though I asked, I was barely holding a grin from spreading my lips and announcing my inner feelings on the matter, loud and clear.

“I mean…didn’t you want me to introduce ‘us’? ” Hearing his innocent remark I was no longer able to suppress my smile as I nodded readily.

“It’s not just Masato-san but I want to introduce you to two other people as well…if only Emiko-san is alright with it. ”

“You don’t need to ask that, Haru-kun. I am not just fine but excessively happy to see that it’s not just me taking this relationship seriously.” I confessed what I truly felt.

I never expected Haru-kun to introduce me to his brother-in-law this soon, considering he’s like a father to Haru-kun. This shows that Haru-kun wasn’t averse to this unexpected arrival of mine in his life.

Haru-kun smiled at that before he excused himself and went to Masato-san. The doctors were here so he naturally needed to be with them.

Seeing his distancing back and remembering what massive event has occurred today, I have a feeling that from here on, our relationship will progress smoothly.

‘Haah~Naomi, you deserve a bonus…’

Now I just hope that the operation proceeds fine and we can become one big happy family soon.
