When I was Reincarnated into a Game World, I Was a Farmer’s Son - Chapter 7
Chapter 7
“Denma Senki” is a classic and straightforward RPG where the protagonist, a male character named Demna, goes on an adventure through twists and turns of events to save the world.
The main objective of the game involves defeating monsters, enemies, gaining experience points to level up, and defeating bosses.
There is also a job system in the game, with dozens of different jobs categorized into lower and upper tiers. This allows players to enjoy customizing their character development based on their preferences.
The game has a party system, where the main character can be accompanied by up to five members in battles. There are quite some number of characters that can be included in the party, allowing the player to choose and set their party members by their preferences.
In my previous life when I the game for the first played, I played the remake version, of course, there was also an original version that was a massive hit in my high school days. The series has two whole sequels and I have played all of them, including the original version.
The Eldor Kingdom appears as the main setting in the first instalment of the game’s story, whereas the second and third instalments are set in different countries.
As for the village where I live, Machikane Village, was a bonus stage village in the remake version.
In the later stages of the game, there are some places where you can play mini-games and obtain valuable items from it, however it is completely unrelated to the main storyline.
Could it be that I really got reincarnated in “Denma Senki”?
Well, there’s only one way to find out.
So, without being noticed by my mother, I quickly take out a wooden shovel from the barn and head towards the outskirts of the village.
If I’m not mistaken, I think it was in this direction.
After walking for a while from the village, there is a large rock near the the forest. As I’m walking towards the rock, I noticed that there are grass growing everywhere, but strangely, there are no grass at all around the rock.
Once you clear the side quest for defeating monsters in Machikane Village, you can play a minigame and receive valuable rewards in this location.
Somewhere on the grass-free area near the rock, there is a buried treasure chest, you can try to dig the chest up three times in the minigame. The diggable area is 30 blocks wide and the treasure chest is two blocks wide.
In the game, if you can’t find it in your first try, you can take the quest again and dig three more times. The sub quest can be taken as many times as you want.
The main quest itself only needs you to defeat a few weak monsters in the village, you can finish it pretty quickly and easily.
Standing in the front of the large rock, I look around.
Yeah, it sure looks really similar to what I remember in the game.
I start to be more convinced, but still, I can’t be sure until I see it for myself.
For some reason, I feel kind of excited, so I walk quickly to the location.
If this really is Machikane Village from “Demna Senki”, then it should be around here.
Using all my strength, I dig up the ground using the wooden shovel. Because of my small body, it is really hard and takes a long time to dig it up, and on top of that, using a wooden shovel to dig up the ground is not very efficient.
Because of this weak body, I need to take occasional breaks. Finally, after a while, I manage to find and dig up what I’m looking for.
A small treasure chest.
Inside is a pair of earrings with a small blue gemstone the size of a grain of rice.
“So this really is a video game world.”
With that in my mind, I move to a different location and dig into the ground again, after digging for some time again, I managed to dig another treasure chest of the same size as the one I had found earlier.
This time, there is a plain silver ring inside.
There is no doubt, this world really is the video game world of “Denma Senki”.
