Three months have passed since I started training, and my level has finally increased. I levelled up from level 8 to level 10.

Actually, my level only increased by 1 from the training, but because of my birthday, which made me turn 9 years old, made my level increase by 1 too automatically. So purely from training for these three months, I only went up 1 level.

To level up to the next level, I will need 200 experience points. Despite I gradually train harder and harder and pushing myself to the limit everyday, I still only gain 1 experience point per day. If I rely solely on training to level up to the next level, it will take almost seven months.

Even though I’m wearing the Sapphire earrings which has 5x exp bonus effect, I still need seven months to level up, it’s quite a long time…

Moreover, even though my level has increased by 2, my stat attributes haven’t improved much at all.

Even though my level has increased by 2, my stat attributes have only gone up by 1 or 2 each.

In the game, the maximum value for each stats attribute is 9999, and the level cap is 999.

By the way, the recommended level for the final boss is level 80, meanwhile the recommended level for the secret boss level 800. So, I think the reason why they made the level cap to be 999 is probably because the ridiculously hard secret boss.

Nevertheless, this really makes me realize how hard it is to be someone who has a farmer job in the game.

If I were the protagonist, regardless of the job, reaching level 10 would have increased my stats attributes by close to three digits.

It seems like defeating monsters is the only way after all.

My target would be the weakest monsters in this area. However, I need to keep in mind that there are powerful monsters lurking in the forest. It seems like it will be difficult to engage in battles with specific monsters only.

I’m not even sure that I can defeat the weakest monster here, if I encounter a strong monster, I won’t stand a chance against it. In the game, if I got defeated in a battle, I can respawn and retry as many times as I want. But no matter how similar this world is to the game, I can’t just start over if I get defeated by a monster in real life, I actually don’t know that for sure, but I don’t have the courage to test it.

I don’t want to do such scary things, I don’t want to be hurt when battling monsters.

Now, what should I do then? I’ve been thinking about it for the past month while training.

‘Isn’t it impossible to level up by defeating monsters!?’

I can’t take the risk of dying, it’s incredibly scary! And even if my level increases, my stats attributes will only increase a bit.

It’s impossible, this is impossible!

What a nonsense game this is! Am I on ultra-hard mode!?

I don’t expect to be as strong as the protagonist, but it would have been nice to have at least some combat skills or abilities. Looks like farmers will remain farmers and should live peacefully. Maybe I should just give up on the meat and live peacefully in this farming village.
