When I Reincarnated as the Villain of a Game World, I Created a Harem and Broke the Protagonist's Heart and Efforts! - Chapter 76 : Raid [1]
Chapter 76 : Raid [1]
“Master, excuse me, but there’s something urgent I must tell you.”
“I already know why you’re here. Go on.”
“Understood.”
I hadn’t expected much, but I never imagined they’d move this quickly.
That very night, after I made my intentions clear to the Emperor at the Imperial Castle, my mansion was surrounded by dozens — no, hundreds of people.
Though the darkness obscured their figures, I could feel the many presences moving around the mansion, even from inside. There’s no doubt that they were knights and mages sent by the Emperor.
They were eager to capture Lilia and me. Though it was my actions that led to this situation, it’s certainly a bothersome affair.
Furthermore, choosing this mansion as the place for their assault and launching the attack in the middle of the night was simply unacceptable.
“…To think they would disrupt my precious time with my husband… I will not forgive them… I will not forgive them… I will not forgive them… I will not forgive them… I will not forgive them… I will not forgive them… I will kill them—”
“N-nee-san, calm down!”
The knights’ midnight assault coincided with the time Lilia and I usually spent together. As a result, Lilia, who cherished those moments more than anything, had reached the limit of her anger.
The magical power, imbued with Lilia’s specialty — Ice magic, began to leak out, causing the temperature in the room to plummet. Lulua was desperately trying to calm her down, but it wasn’t working.
At this rate, the room will turn into the dead of winter.
Before that happens, I suppose I should deal with the knights and secure our time.
“Well, I’m going out to greet our visitors. What about you two?”
“I’ll kill them.”
“Lilia, calm down.”
“Master, this is me being calm — mmpf!?”
For now, I silenced her with a kiss.
If I let her go outside like this, she’d probably freeze the entire area solid.
“…Are you calm now?”
“Mmm… Yes, master~…”
“So, what about you two, Lulua and Serena?”
“I’m coming too.”
“That’s right. Lilia’s not the only one who’s angry.”
It seems everyone is quite upset.
“Don’t overdo it. Leviana, you’re coming as well.”
“Understood.”
◇◇◇◇◇◇
When I stepped outside the front entrance with Leviana and the other three, I could feel countless eyes on us.
It was clear that they had no intention of hiding.
As proof, one man broke through the fence surrounding the mansion and swiftly approached us. A crimson cape, the mark of a knight commander, fluttered on his back.
“Well, well, what an uncouth individual, breaking into someone else’s home. I’ll at least hear you out.”
“There’s no need for words. I’m here to capture you.”
The knight commander drew his sword and took a stance. The air around us grew palpably heavier.
“It won’t be as easy as it was a few hours ago.”
The moment he spoke those words, the knight commander’s body began to glow white.
“White Defense, activate—”
[Release Burst]
The knight commander’s head exploded before he could chant his spell.
It was even more gruesome than two years ago, as blood splattered everywhere.
Next, his armor and body burst apart, with the fragments causing considerable damage to the surrounding knights and mages.
Protected by the ice barrier Lilia had created, I spoke.
“How dull.”
Two years had passed since that fateful party. And just a few hours ago, I had given them a glimpse of my power.
I expected that someone of his stature, standing as the Empire’s strongest, would have grown in those two years and devised some strategy after witnessing my abilities.
But it was a complete disappointment.
His actions were exactly the same as two years ago. He activated his unique magic as his first move, planning to charge at us afterward.
Is this how the strongest knight in the Empire supposed to be?
“Leviana, set up a barrier.”
“Understood.”
A barrier expanded in a 200-meter radius around the mansion, making it impossible for anyone or anything to enter or leave.
Now, none of them will escape.
Outside the barrier, the knights and mages who managed to regain their footing were staring at the stain on the ground that was once their commander. It was a scene eerily similar to two years ago.
“Don’t let anyone leave out of here alive.”

Again, the sudden breakneck pacing is jarring. And the conflict came out of nowhere. MC was really stupid this time. And this is really boring. It’s like reading the party incident again earlier in the story. If this keeps up, my rating will probably go down from a 5 to a 2/3.
