When I Reincarnated as the Villain of a Game World, I Created a Harem and Broke the Protagonist's Heart and Efforts! - Chapter 60 : Unique Magic
Reina returned to her room immediately after our conversation with her father, Diego had concluded.
She went to prepare, as she would be accompanying me back to the estate as compensation for the Panacea I had given to cure her sister’s illness.
When I informed Diego, he requested some time for a final farewell. Considering the circumstances, I permitted this. Thus, we would depart in about an hour.
Meanwhile, I relaxed in the drawing room where Diego and Reina had left.
“So, what was that power you mentioned earlier, Master?”
With the maids dismissed from the room to leave us in privacy, Serena, seated opposite me, posed this question.
“I was curious about that too. You didn’t elaborate, but since it’s you, Wraith-sama, it must be something beneficial, right?” Lilia and Lulua, seated on either side of me, chimed in, following Serena’s lead.
Initially, I hadn’t intended to divulge this information. However, given the time and the fact that it came up in conversation, it would seem unnatural not to share it with them.
With that in mind, I began to discuss the power I mentioned Reina possesses.
“You know that I’ve had the maids in the mansion, including Liberis, perform tasks akin to those of the dark side, right?”
“Yes, of course.”
“So, when you bring this up, does that mean you had Liberis investigate Reina’s abilities?”
“That’s right.”
This was a lie. Although I affirmed Lulua’s assumption, in truth, Liberis had not conducted any investigation. I hadn’t even informed her about this matter.
This information about Reina’s abilities comes from memories of my past life. Therefore, I had to mix some truth with lies while explaining to Lilia and the others.
“After I handed over the Panacea to Reina the other day, I had Liberis conduct a background check to avoid any complications. Reina’s power was discovered due to inconsistencies in her personal data during that investigation.”
“I see… So, what’s her power?”
“She possesses a very unique magic.”
Expressions of slight surprise appeared on Lilia and Lulua’s faces at my words.
Well, that’s understandable. Individuals with unique magic are incredibly rare, occurring in perhaps one in tens of thousands of people. Therefore, in any country in this world, those who can use unique magic are highly valued. This was especially true for Gelg, the strongest man in the empire whom I killed in the imperial castle two years ago, whose value was recognized all the more because of his unique magic.
“Wow, she has unique magic. Even I, the Blue Empress of Vampire, don’t have that.”
“Whether one has unique magic or not is a matter of luck. Besides, I don’t know what kind of unique magic Reina has.”
This statement was true. While I knew from my past life’s memories that Reina possessed unique magic, I couldn’t recall exactly what it was. I could vividly remember details about the characters and the fate scenarios of this world, but recalling such specific information was beyond me. It’s only natural, given that I didn’t pay much attention to these things in my previous life. Moreover, it’s a memory from more than a decade.
However, based on the knowledge I’ve accumulated since reincarnating into this world, it is clear that unique magic, regardless of its form, holds significant power. Historical records include instances where unique magic influenced the fate of entire nations.
If I could gain Reina, who possesses such unique magic, and train her with knowledge not found in this world alongside Leviana, it would be greatly beneficial in achieving my objectives. Ultimately, the reason I desired Reina was for the power and influence of her unique magic.
While I was contemplating this, Lilia and Lulua continued their conversation.
“I’m looking forward to discovering what Reina-san’s unique magic is.”
“Yes, indeed.”
I agreed with Lilia’s words in agreement.

After about an hour, Reina returned to the drawing room, carrying a slightly larger travel bag.
“Let’s go.”
Since Reina had come, I assumed she had finished explaining everything to her family. I stood from the sofa and headed for the carriage waiting in front of the count’s residence. As I stepped outside, Diego, Reina’s family, and several servants were standing in the garden.
They must have come to see her off. It seemed Reina was well-liked not only by her family but also by the servants.
While Reina exchanged a few words with the servants seeing her off, I decided to board the carriage and wait. As I moved, someone called out to me.
“Are you Wraith-Heaville?”
“Who are you?”
“I apologize for the late introduction. My name is Linsia Luinveil.”
“Ah, you must be Reina’s sister.”
“Yes.”
The person who approached me was Linsia, Reina’s sister.
Although Linsia shared the same fiery red hair color as Reina, their atmospheres were entirely different. While Reina had an aura akin to a knight, Linsia’s aura was softer, with a hint of intelligence.
If not for the same hair color, it would be difficult to tell at a glance that they were sisters.
“So, what do you want, as Reina’s sister?”
“I wanted to express my gratitude.”
Linsia bowed deeply as she spoke.
“Thanks to the Panacea you provided, not only was my life saved, but I was also freed from years of suffering. I am deeply grateful.”
“I see.”
I replied curtly and continued toward the carriage.
Even if Linsia expressed gratitude, it meant nothing to me. Her life being saved was merely coincidental, a byproduct of my actions to obtain Reina.
“Hey, Wraith-sama. Couldn’t you have been a little kinder to her?”
“Are you dissatisfied?”
“No, it’s not dissatisfaction, just… I’m used to it, but…”
“Then what?”
“I just think you could’ve given a more proper response. Even if you’re not interested, giving a proper reply wouldn’t hurt.”
“I see.”
“Yes, that’s what I mean.”
As I conversed with Lulua, who boarded the carriage after me, Reina approached, seemingly finished with her farewells.
Once Reina boarded, the doors were closed, and the carriage began to move slowly.

Wraith really needs to use more words. 😅
Aaah, so that’s why he helped Reina/Leina. Because she has unique magic. 😮
