Chapter 56 : Morning After 2 Years
The morning sun filtered through the gaps in the closed curtains, gradually illuminating the darkness within the room.
I woke up as a result of my usual habit.
“Nn…”
“Mm…”
As I sat up, I heard those sounds from both sides which reached my ears. When I looked in that direction, I saw two girls and a beautiful woman, completely undressed, sleeping next to me with a smile on their face.
I swung my legs down from the bed, which was spacious enough for ten people, and woke them up.
“Lilia, Lulua, and Serena. Wake up. It’s morning.”
“Nn…,” their response was a barely audible murmur.
Rather than waking up, the three of them, instead, burrowed into the nearby bedsheet, showing no sign of getting up. Ignoring them for now, I changed into comfortable clothes for training while exhaling softly.
Although I took my time expecting the three to wake up, there was no change in their behavior during that period. I exhaled softly again, then briskly opened the curtains at the window, brightening the room with the morning sun.
“Come on, get up.”
While calling out to them again, I began the task of waking up the three, which had recently become a new habit.
Two years had passed since the announcement of the second prince’s engagement party.
This year, I will celebrate my fifteenth birthday. In other words, it was the year for me to enter the Imperial Capital’s Advanced Magic Academy, where the original story began. Accordingly, I currently spent my days in the Imperial Capital.
Those attending the Advanced Magic Academy would typically commute from a secondary residence in the Imperial Capital or a student dormitory within the academy’s grounds. However, living in a student dormitory with its many restrictions was not permitted for me. Living in the secondary residence where Klein, who would be bothersome next year, would come was also unsatisfactory. Therefore, I bought a new mansion in the Imperial Capital and had been living there with Lilia, Lulua and Serena for about a month.
Since moving to the new mansion, I have been sleeping with Lilia and Lulua almost every day, and occasionally with Serena. However, these guys were not morning people, and recently it had become a habit for me to wake them up.
“Why has it become a matter of course for me to wake you all up…”
After waking the three and changing into clothes suitable for training, I muttered as I walked down the corridor toward the garden.
“I’m sorry every morning, Master. But…,”
“It’s because Wraith-sama is too intense every night.”
One responded with a wry smile, and the other two, with somewhat satisfied expressions, answered my words.
“Because master is too amazing. That’s why we always get tired first.”
While walking behind me, Serena, sticking close to my back, also said so.
Unable to say anything in response to the three’s words, I quickened my pace just a little.
“Hah!”
I exhaled sharply as I dodged an approaching slash from below by moving my upper body. Seizing the moment when the opponent took the posture of swinging the sword, I quickly thrust my sword, but it was blocked with astonishing reflex speed.
Both pushed away from each other, flying backward to create distance, and readied their swords again.
Without averting my gaze from the opponent in front of me, I paid attention to every move the opponent made.
While we continued to stare each other down, the opponent’s foot slipped slightly on the ground.
At that moment, I diverted my attention from the front and swung my sword from behind.
A dry sound echoed in the garden, accompanied by a hard sensation and the weight on my arm.
However, the collision lasted only a moment.
I lightly pulled back the sword, sliding off the opponent’s sword, disrupting their posture.
The opponent quickly regained their stance and readied their sword, but I stopped their movement abruptly.
Because I had the blade of my sword against their neck.
“The handling of the sword, its power, speed, and the movements during combat. All of them are excellent, but your ability to respond quickly is just passable. Your reaction after having an attack from a blind spot evaded is slow. If this were a life-or-death situation, you would already be dead, Lulua.”
“Yes…”
“From now on, work on improving that aspect of your abilities.”
Putting away my sword, I conveyed this to Lulua, my sparring partner from the simulated battle just now. Lulua accepted my words firmly and sheathed the sword in her hand.
While standing and catching my breath, I heard footsteps approaching from the garden, coming closer.
“Master, Lulua. Shall we have breakfast soon?”
“Oh, nee-san.”
“Is it already that time?”
Taking the towel from Lilia, who had come to call us while looking at us, I wiped off the sweat from my body. Watching us, Lilia spoke up.
“Today is the practical exam at the Magic Academy, so we can’t be late, right?”

So I’m guessing that, since Wraith never got punished, that he changed the perceptions of everyone with his magic, hence why he summoned ‘him’? Or is it because his father is the PM they’re an important family? I don’t know. I guess we’ll see.
And I love an MC who’s not afraid to enjoy his nights with his girls. Isn’t dense, either.
