When I Reincarnated as the Villain of a Game World, I Created a Harem and Broke the Protagonist's Heart and Efforts! - Chapter 25 : At The Camp!
Chapter 25 : At The Camp
“…Please wake up, Master.”
“The carriage has stopped. Wake up, Wraith-sama.”
The voices of Lilia and Lulua reached my ears as I was lightly shaken.
If the carriage had stopped, I needed to wake up, but I wanted to linger a bit longer in this half-asleep state. While thinking so, I moved my head slightly, and something felt off.
The sensation on my face was firmer than when I first fell asleep. No, it had a softness, but it was a kind of muscular hardness. I opened my eyes slightly to confirm the color of the clothing beneath my face, and it was the same black and white maid outfit I had seen before falling asleep. So why the difference in hardness?
…I considered one possibility.
To confirm my suspicion, I moved my gaze along with my head and looked at the face of the owner of the lap I was resting on.
“..…”
“…No wonder it’s hard.”
“Wraith-sama, what do you mean?”
I raised my head from Lulua’s lap, answering as I sat up.
“It means exactly what it sounds like. Perhaps due to your recent training, your muscles feel harder than Lilia’s.”
Lulua was the one whose lap I was sleeping on. Somewhere along the way, she had replaced Lilia.
Lulua, despite her appearance, had been training her body, and gradually, her muscles had become firmer.
While it wasn’t a bad thing, there were drawbacks in situations like this. I should consider training the inner muscles.
“Wraith-sama, what does that mean?…. Weren’t you the one who tampered my body to make this happen, right?”
I casually brushed off Lulua’s words, who seemed to have misunderstood something.
“Hmph!”
“Hey.”
Lulua, seemingly dissatisfied with my words, fell onto my lap. She showed no signs of backing down, displaying a stance of thorough resistance.
When I looked towards Lilia for help, it was clear she wouldn’t be of much help.
“That’s unfair… Master, after Lulua, please let me rest on your lap too.”
After satisfying both of them, I was able to get off the carriage 30 minutes later.
◇◇◇◇◇◇
The carriage had stopped next to a river in the plains. The veil of the night had already fallen outside, and besides the campfire-lit area around the carriage, nothing else could be seen.
It seemed difficult to reach the town by tonight, so they decided to camp here. Originally, camping was planned for the first day, so the servants were preparing for it without much trouble.
Having nothing specific to do, I decided to watch their preparations.
“Sitting directly on the ground doesn’t suit my taste.”
[Earth Manipulation]
Using magic to manipulate the ground, I raised and shaped it, hardened it, and changed its nature, transforming the soil into a stonelike substance.
“Hmm. It turned out better than I thought.”
What I created looked like a throne at first glance. It was wide enough for three people to comfortably sit side by side.
Well, the meaning behind it was self-evident.
As I sat in the middle, Lilia and Lulua naturally sat on either side, snuggling up to me.
Actually, the magic I just used required a high level of skill, but these two had seen my magic a few times in the past month, so they weren’t surprised. Lilia, in particular, seemed interested, observing what she was sitting on.
However, since I previously used magic in a place where others weren’t present, none of the servants, including my father, sister, and brother, knew about this. So, currently everyone’s attention was on us.
Despite the surprise, I deliberately said these words casually
“Don’t mind it. Just continue with what you were doing.”
The servants couldn’t go against my words, so while still glancing over here, they returned to their tasks.
Then, two figures approached us.
No, it would be more accurate to say that only one approached us, and the other was just tagging along for her safety.
And that approaching figure was none other than—
“Onii-sama! W-What was that just now!? It’s amazing!”
“I never knew you could use such powerful magic. When did you learn that?”
My younger sister, Sharmilina, and my father, Gord.
I answered my father while patting Sharmilina’s head, who had returned to her usual attitude from a month ago.
“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t ask. I prefer to keep my cards hidden.”
“Alright, I won’t ask any further.”
“Thank you.”
My father was surprisingly understanding. It saved me from unnecessary trouble.
“What about me!? Onii-sama, will you tell me!?”
“No way.”
“Ugh~!”
Sharmilina is better this way after all.
By the way, Klein was glaring hatefully at me from a slightly distant place.
He is as annoying as before.

Did mc decided that his brother is not worth reasoning with?
To be fair, MC just explained that his brother’s the type to always make assumptions and stubbornly views himself to always be in the right. And has a hypocritical and rather hostile sense of self-righteousness that one-sidedly views anyone he disagrees with as “being evil”. I highly doubt that, even if MC had tried to clarify things with him or pointed out the laws, Klein will filter it out. So it’s wise of MC to give up early and avoid further trouble.
The problem though is that it’ll just get worse if he doesn’t nip it in the bud. Of course, it’ll be difficult since there’s no current method available to allow him that luxury.
As MC has said, what has Klein’s tutor been teaching him? I suspect he may be a demon or some activist who’s influencing his brother. It reminds me of some other light novel (I forgot what the name was) where the MC’s sibling was acting uncharacteristically hostile, only to find out that their tutor had been responsible for brainwashing them for their own purposes.
