“Anyway, let’s keep it quiet that I’m staying three whole days. Arisa and Utsuho will probably find out eventually, but how about we spend the first day just the two of us?”

That’s what Hinata said, but it kinda sounded like she was hinting everyone would end up gathering during these three days… which honestly made me happy, but it also seemed like it could get pretty hectic.

Today was Friday—the day Hinata was coming over. Right now I was waiting in front of her house while she got ready. After waiting a bit, Hinata came out carrying a pretty big bag.

“That’s… a lot of stuff?”

Hinata narrowed her eyes like she was trying to scare me, but it wasn’t scary at all. If anything, I was all for it… still, an old couple was holding hands on a walk and some elementary kids were heading home, so I held back.

After we laughed together, we started getting dinner ready. We’d already decided on hot pot for tomorrow, so for tonight… maybe just something easy like curry.

Cooking side by side with Hinata felt so much like a married couple that it was fun. We both like it spicy, so we made it hot… the finished curry was really tasty, and both of us were satisfied. Then the relaxed time after eating… that was the best too.

“So, wanna head to the room?”

Even though the bath had calmed us down a bit, our bodies were starting to heat up again. Both of us were fully ready… we took off our clothes and were just about to—right when the signal for battle was about to go up, a call came from Arisa out of nowhere.
