Chapter 2: In an Empty Classroom With My Senior…
“We did it… tehe.”
“Don’t just say ‘we did it’ like that! …Not that I’m in any position to complain to you, Senpai!!”
That exchange with Senpai has been stuck in my head ever since.
It all started last Friday… The night I let Motomiya-senpai stay over after she ran away from home. I got swept up in the moment and climbed the stairs to adulthood—or rather, sprinted up them without hesitation.
“…”
Just remembering it makes my body heat up.
Even if I gave in to Senpai’s push, I can’t make excuses. I had my own desires too. I was curious about that sort of thing… and, well, I was a virgin.
“Hey, Tsubaki.”
“What’s up?”
I didn’t understand anything… Senpai guided me through it, but since it was my first time, I was extremely careful.
She kept telling me things like “You’re so sweet” and “Don’t worry about it,” which made me happy, but at some point, even I was surprised by how much my instincts took over.
“Tsubaki!”
“Tsubaki-kun!”
“!!”
A sudden voice snapped me back to reality. When I lifted my head, two people—a boy and a girl—were standing right beside me.
“Kanato? Rio?”
“Yo.”
“Yeah.”
They’re my closest friends.
We’ve been together since middle school, and we’ve never been in separate classes even once.
“Of course I’d check in if my friend was spacing out.”
Tomioka Kanato—
With his refreshing smile and good looks, Kanato is a perfect fit for the soccer team. He’s even a candidate for the next team captain.
“Did something happen? Your face is really red… Do you have a fever or something?”
Asakura Rio—
She’d get mad if I said her petite frame suited her, but her most distinctive feature is her adorable smile. She’s the soccer team’s manager, and more importantly, Kanato’s childhood friend.
“I’m totally fine. Sorry for making you worry.”
“You sure?”
“Tell us if something’s wrong, okay?”
“…Man, your friendship is so touching, I might cry.”
I pretended to sob, and as expected, they both patted my head reassuringly.
“Guess he’s fine.”
“Looks like it.”
“Told you, I’m good.”
Hearing that finally put them at ease.
Their easygoing interaction makes it obvious—they’re not just childhood friends but also a couple. It’s like something out of a manga. I admired their relationship, but more than that, seeing them so happy together was just heartwarming.
“…Huh?”
At that moment, my phone vibrated in my pocket.
Wondering what it was, I pulled it out and checked the screen—and my heart skipped a beat.
“Come to the empty classroom on the third floor during lunch break. You know where it is, right?”
It was a message from Senpai.
I didn’t have her ID saved in my app before, but since she stayed over, we exchanged contacts.
“Hey, your face just got even redder.”
“Way worse than before…”
“I-I’m fine!”
Crap… I’m way too conscious of Senpai’s message.
I somehow managed to dodge their questioning, and right then, our homeroom teacher, Yamamoto-sensei, walked in to start morning assembly.
“Alright, everyone, let’s do our best today!”
“Yesss.”
“Okaaay.”
During the entire assembly, I couldn’t focus at all.
All I could think about was Senpai. It was obvious, even to me, that I was completely obsessed. But after experiencing something that intense, it was only natural. At least, that’s how I convinced myself to move forward.
Time passed, and soon, it was after school—just as Senpai had specified.
“E-Excuse me…”
“Welcome~”
When I arrived at the empty classroom, Senpai was already there.
Just like when we met on Friday, she was looking at her phone. But when I stepped into the room, she put it away and smiled softly.
“…”
Her sudden smile made me instinctively avert my gaze.
“Turning away from me? That’s mean.”
“I just… get nervous, okay? Please understand.”
“I do understand. That’s why I said it.”
She lightly poked my cheek.
Unlike me, who was on edge, she remained completely composed. That was just like her… but it made me think again— I really did spend the night with such a beautiful person.
“The reason I called you here today, Tsubaki, is simple. I could have done this over the phone, but I wanted to properly thank you.”
“Ah… there’s really no need for that.”
“Still, it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t.”
Well… she certainly made me feel all kinds of things that night.
(But… this is kind of strange. She was so distant when we first met, but now she’s smiling a lot.)
Yeah… she smiles a lot now.
We’re from different grades, so we don’t really run into each other at school. Maybe she’s always like this, but seeing it up close makes me notice it more.
“Thanks for letting me stay that night.”
“…No, I should be thanking you too.”
Crap… I didn’t know what to say, so I just thanked her back.
“Hehe… so you’re thanking me too?”
“Well… yeah.”
“You’re really funny, you know? Just like how you randomly did a handstand back then.”
“Please don’t call me a weirdo!”
“That was definitely weird, though.”
Ugh… I can’t deny that.
She laughed, her shoulders shaking with amusement.
“If that night ended up being a good experience for you, then I’m glad.”
“Motomiya-senpai… you were amazing.”
“Wow, you’re being really honest. But I don’t like the way you’re addressing me.”
“Huh?”
“We’ve already been that close, right? I let you call me by my name, and you did back then.”
She slowly leaned in closer.
Not only did I feel the softness of her body pressing against me, but her sweet scent tickled my nose. It was the same fragrance I smelled when she clung to me that night.
“Come on, call me by my name.”
“…Hinata-senpai.”
“You called me by just my name before… but I guess this is fine for now.”
The way Hinata-senpai pouted was cute… Wait, no, that’s not the point. There’s something I don’t understand.
Spending the night together was a big deal, sure, but was it enough to change her attitude this much? Maybe I just don’t get it because I have no experience, but Hinata-senpai is being so nice to me that it’s actually confusing.
“Still… haha, that night was really funny. You doing that handstand was hilarious, and then what you said when we got to your house…”
“Ahh…”
As soon as she brought it up, I immediately remembered.
“Senpai…!”
“What?”
“Um… I’ve never had a girl my age come over before. I swear I won’t lose control and turn into some kind of animal, but if I do something stupid, please don’t hesitate to punch me… No, kill me!”
“K-Kill you?! I wouldn’t go that far! Also, you’re already losing control at this point!”
Yeah… looking back, I was definitely out of my mind.
I even tried to set up precautions, but Hinata-senpai just seduced me instead… and I completely gave in.
“I’m confident in my body, and I think I have decent skills. So, I figured it might have been a bit overwhelming for your first time. But we had really good chemistry, didn’t we?”
“…Did we?”
“It wasn’t just about chemistry. I could tell you were inexperienced, but you were still really considerate. That made me trust you a lot. It made me want to let go and rely on you too… and that’s why I wanted to see you again.”
She twirled a strand of her hair, her eyes shifting back and forth.
Of course, I couldn’t help but think she was cute. But at the same time, looking at the earrings in both her ears, I thought she had a bit of a gyaru vibe. Hinata-senpai really is different from the kind of people I usually talk to.
“Uh… I wasn’t sure if it was okay to call or text you. I didn’t want to be a bother, but I was wondering about something.”
“Wondering about what?”
“Your mom… how did things turn out?”
“…………”
For a moment, she looked surprised. Then, she said they were still fighting, but it wasn’t anything to worry about.
We talked and laughed right up until the end of lunch break. But right before we parted ways, she said something unexpected.
“You know… I felt really comfortable at your place. So, if it’s okay, can I come over again?”
Her words carried a subtle temptation.
Just hearing them made the memories of that night come flooding back, along with all the sensations and excitement.
And so, I gave a small nod.
“Hehe, thanks. Don’t worry, I’m not trying to trick you or anything. I just said what I honestly felt.”
“G-Got it.”
“Then… how about this week?”
“This week…? Yeah, that’s fine.”
And just like that, it was decided— she was coming over again.
I wondered if it was really okay for things to be this simple… but in the end, I stopped thinking about it.
