There were two reasons why I urged Otosaki to live with me.

Firstly, she clearly didn’t have a clue where to live. And I wasn’t sure whether she even had any money with her. So, being her boyfriend, my house was clearly the only option she had currently.

Secondly, I really wanted to live with her as well…

It was embarrassing to admit, but I also wanted to spend more time with her. Whenever she left me after the school, I became lonely. I wanted to be with her more. So, living together… was really like my guilty desire.

Of course I didn’t have any “ulterior” motives. I would never do anything to Otosaki that would hurt her.

Anyway, currently there was Wakamiya, who just arrived here. I didn’t have an idea why she came here.

As soon as she saw both Otosaki and me, she widened her eyes and asked,

“Eh? You two?” (Wakamiya)

“Umm… we’re actually members of the club.” (Daichi)

“Yes.” (Otosaki)

“Oh really! That’s so cool!” (Wakamiya)

“Looks like you know each other. Anyway, you can take any empty chair from there and sit.” (Tachibana)

Wakamiya did as she was asked. Then she took a glance at everyone before talking about her problem.

“First, I want to ask you all. Do you know, that on the upcoming Monday, there will be track and field competition for both boys and girls?”

Everyone nodded.

“Yes! In fact, Kazama-kun is going to participate in it.” (Tachibana)

“Y-Yes.” (Kazama)

“Well… I’m going to participate too.” (Wakamiya)

“Oh really? Great. We’ll be cheering for you.” (Otosaki)

“Hmm… and are you all going to watch it?” (Wakamiya)

“I will.” (Tachibana)

“Me too!” (Hajime)

“Well I will participate in Volleyball competition that day. But if I have time, I will watch.” (Yanami)

Now it reminded me that even I had to participate in baseball competition that day. Both I and Keiichi would be in the same team. I wondered if Keiichi even remembered that.

“Okay, the thing is that… I want to impress someone I like. And that’s why I want to win the track and field competition. He will be watching it.” (Wakamiya)

Kazama widened his eyes and looked at her. It seemed like she had the exact same motive as him.

“Haa! Look at the coincidence! Kazama also wants to impress someone by taking part in the track and field.” (Hajime)

Wakamiya looked once at Kazama and continued,

“So… I like to ask you… what’s the best way to confess that person?” (Wakamiya)

She asked with a very embarrassed face which was very unlike her.

“That… you should ask a guy here. Dai-kun, what do you say? How do you like Otosaki-san to confess to you?” (Tachibana)

“To be honest, no matter how Otosaki confesses to me, I will always love it.” (Daichi)

“Jeez… it’s embarrassing you know…”, Otosaki said while poking my cheeks.

“Then think about some other girl confessing to you.” (Yanami)

“Well…” (Daichi)

“I will kill that girl.” (Otosaki)

“Relax Otosaki! It’s just a hypothetical scenario.” (Daichi)

“Even then, I don’t like to even think about it.” (Otosaki)

Otosaki looked at me with a pouting face. I sighed and continued,

“I agreed. I can’t accept anyone else’s confession even hypothetically. I think Wakamiya should ask Hajime Senpai.” (Daichi)

Hajime Senpai looked at us and thought a little and said,

“I have an idea, which will result in 99% success.” (Hajime)

“What is it?” (Daichi)

“Honestly, you know Wakamiya…if you win the race, you should grab the microphone and confess to the guy in front of everyone.” (Hajime)

“What the actual f*ck?” (Yanami)

“Are you out of your goddamn mind?” (Tachibana)

“That’s a little… aggressive.” (Kazama)

Hajime Senpai waved his hands to calm everyone down.

“It might be extremely bold. But it guarantees 99% success rate. Trust me, a guy can never reject such a confession even if he already has a girlfriend!” (Hajime)

“Okay now you’re absolutely spitting bullsh*t.” (Tachibana)

Suddenly Otosaki looked at me terrified eyes. Thank you Hajime Senpai, for making her even more insecure.

I stroked her head to calm her down. Meanwhile Wakamiya’s eyes flashed as if she found what she was looking for.

“Thank you all! I got what I wanted to know.” (Wakamiya)

She then left the clubroom and we could only look at her in confusion.
