“Otosaki-san… you’re not joking right?” (Yanami)

I simply shook my head to confirm I was not.

“B-But how on earth did your mom just kick you out? What even was the argument?” (Tachibana)

I didn’t immediately answer her but looked once at Daichi-kun. He was still speechless ever since hearing my words.

“My mother is going to remarry next week.” (Otosaki)

“What…” (Tachibana)

“And she messaged me last night saying, they had planned to transfer to Hokkaido. And I too had to transfer to a school in Hokkaido.” (Otosaki)

“Hey hey hang on! So, Otosaki you’re leaving to Hokkaido?” (Daichi)

Daichi-kun looked at me with a terrified look. All others in the room were also in shock.

“Never! That’s what I messaged my mom back. However she didn’t agreed to it. And when she came home today morning…” (Otosaki)

“T-Then what happened?” (Yanami)

Yanami-san looked at me with fearful eyes.

“We got into a huge toxic argument where I even told her something like she doesn’t care about me and my life.” (Otosaki)

“Damn…” (Hajime)

“Oh my goodness…” (Daichi)

Daichi-kun covered his face in tension.

“She gave me two options: Either transfer to Hokkaido and live with her and her new husband or live entirely at your own. Thus I decided to find some other place to live. I took all my clothes, books and other necessary things.” (Otosaki)

“Wait, Otosaki-san, where are those things?” (Tachibana)

I pointed my fingers towards one corner of our clubroom. Everyone looked there to find out a pink colour trolley bag.

“Eh? When did you place it there?” (Yanami)

“In the morning.” (Otosaki)

“So that is yours… I saw that trolley a long time ago. But I thought it was some teacher’s.” (Hajime)

“Anyway Otosaki-san, didn’t you rush too much to make your decision about leaving your mom? You could have thought a little bit.” (Tachibana)

“No! Don’t get me wrong. I don’t care whom she marry or not. But why should I have to transfer to Hokkaido for her? I’m not changing my school!” (Otosaki)

Everyone looked down without saying a word. An awkward silence came to the room. Why weren’t they saying anything?

At that moment, I desperately looked at Daichi-kun and said,

“Daichi-kun… would you like me to transfer to Hokkaido?” (Otosaki)

“N-No. Not at all.” (Daichi)

“S-So did I make any mistakes?” (Otosaki)

I looked at him with teary eyes. He looked back at me with his gentle smile. He then stroked my head and said,

“No. You didn’t do any mistake.” (Daichi)

I knew it… my Daichi-kun would always understand me. It didn’t matter anymore what anyone else thought. If Daichi-kun doesn’t think it’s bad, then everything’s alright. I badly wanted to hug him at that moment. But I somehow controlled my inner desire.

“Umm… Otosaki-san…” (Yanami)

“Ah yeah!” (Otosaki)

I was forced to cut down my thoughts as Yanami-san asked me.

“Then where are you going to live?” (Yanami)

“Yeah… Otosaki-san. That’s what I’m worried about as well.” (Tachibana)

“Well… actually I was thinking about living in the clubroom for now.” (Otosaki)

That was indeed my first plan when I took my trolley bag here.

“W-What!? That’s impossible! As soon as the janitor will come to know about this, he will complain to teacher.” (Tachibana)

That’s true… thus I needed to think about somewhere else.

“Umm….” (Daichi)

Everyone looked at Daichi-kun as he was about to say something. He looked a little embarrassed as he continued.

Everyone of them was looking at us with a massive grin in their face. It was as if the tensed atmosphere had completely disappeared. Now, everyone was happy again.

“Haha that’s my junior! Daichi you never miss a chance to make your move, do you?” (Hajime)

“I-I’m not making any moves!” (Daichi)

“Otosaki-san is looking so cute being embarrassed.” (Yanami)

“Dai-kun really knows when to make his moves.” (Tachibana)

“Once again I’m not making any moves!” (Daichi)

“Fufu.” (Otosaki)

Only Daichi-kun could change the mood of an entire club.

At that moment, suddenly the club door was opened and entered a tall boy with shaved head. I saw that boy once before here.

Daichi-kun told me before, that he was a junior and his name was Kazama. And he was going to take part in the upcoming track and field competitions of our school on next Monday, because he promised a girl whom he liked.

“Ah Hajime-senpai…” (Kazama)

“Oh Kazama! You sit here. Have some biscuits. You don’t have to practice today.” (Hajime)

“Eh but…” (Kazama)

“Don’t worry, you have done enough.” (Hajime)

Kazama-kun reluctantly entered and took a biscuit.

“Don’t be embarrassed, Kazama-kun. So what about that girl – Shiina Nagi?” (Yanami)

Kazama-kun’s face instantly reddened as he heard her name.

“S-She’s fine. And it seems she is talking to me more than usual these days.” (Kazama)

“Hehe! Looks like she has generated some liking for you.” (Yanami)

“I-I can only hope…” (Kazama)

At this moment, once again the door was opened and entered another person.

However this person was someone whom neither I nor Daichi-kun expected to come here.

This person was – Wakamiya Remon, the girl who we once thought Keiichi-san was cheating with. However that was just a bad misunderstanding from our part.

Anyway what was Wakamiya-san doing here?
