I let out a sigh of relief and turned to Kana. However, her expression was frozen as she stared at me intently.

“Thank you for helping us. Um… is it okay to call you Souma?”

Seeing Kana in this state, Minase bowed her head towards me.

“It’s perfectly fine to call me Souma, Minase.”

“Minase… how do you know my name?”

“I hear it often from Kana. Besides, you’re a bit of a local celebrity at school.”

Seeing my reaction, Kana grinned playfully and said,

She poked me in the side with her elbow.

When her hair swayed, I caught a glimpse of her ear, which seemed to be red. Is that just my imagination?

Still, she’s really annoying. Maybe I shouldn’t have stepped in to help.

Minase, hiding behind Kana, was also chuckling, so it seems these sisters share a similar sense of humor.

Both of their smiles are so cute that it’s infuriating.
