When I woke up, it was five in the morning. Despite being tired, I always woke up at this time. It’s amazing how strong habits can be. Glancing around, it seemed that she had slept here instead of her room. She lay there innocently, wearing risqué underwear.

Feeling a rush of blood to the lower half of my body, I knew better than to act on any sexual desires towards a sleeping girl. I got up, used the sink to freshen up, and brushed my teeth with the toothbrush I bought yesterday. I then headed to the kitchen.

To my surprise, the messages were read immediately. When I inquired, it seemed Mizusu had been awake since yesterday and sorry. It was me who didn’t reply to her messages though.

After a brief exchange, as I still had time, I leisurely prepared breakfast. Around 6:30, thinking it was time to wake Mika, she yawned sleepily and got up.

“Good morning, Mika.”

“Good morning, Satoru-san.”

It seemed she wasn’t fully awake yet. She walked unsteadily towards the bathroom. I watched her go, finished setting the breakfast on the table, and responded to messages from Sakura, Misuzu, and Karen.

“It smells really good. You made breakfast?”

“I had some time, also as a thank you for letting me stay.”

“No, I should be thanking you. You’re really a strange Senpai.”

With that, Mika returned from the bathroom, and I had already set up breakfast on the table. We sat down together and ate breakfast like we did yesterday.

“I haven’t had breakfast in a long time.”

“You have to eat. Don’t you hate having a growling stomach during class?”

“Haha, you’re right. I’ll try to eat more from now on.”

We chatted casually while having breakfast. After finishing, we both got ready and left Mika’s house.

“Pardon me for intruding.”

“No, it was no trouble at all. I’m grateful you were here.”

“By the way, can I return the 2,000 yen tomorrow? I don’t have enough time to go home and get it right now.”

“Oh, right. If that’s the case, it’s fine. Ah, but instead of returning it, can you come to my house again today?”
