“How long have you known Akane?”

“Well let’s see, about 5 years now I guess.”

“Five years. That’s quite a long time.”

For me, I don’t have any friends, so I feel envious of Akane who has a friend for that long.

I wonder if even I can have a friend like that.

” Ah, we arrived. Is this your first time coming to Akane’s house?”

“It’s my first time.”

“Then have a fun time.”

“Yes, thank you very much!”

She seems to have a cheerful character, an exact match for someone like Akane.

Well, I don’t think that the people who become my friend will have such a cheerful character. Probably, they will be similar to me.

I hope to meet someone I can get along with as well.

After arriving at the front of the house, I used the key to take Akane’s friend into the house.

“Welcome home, Onii-chan… wai— Kanae?!”

From a moment ago, Akane seems to getting surprised constantly, but I will not mind.

So this girl is called Kanae-chan. Just like her looks, even her name is cute too.

“Why is Onii-chan with Kanae? Could it be that you both are in a relationship?”

She suddenly hugged my arm as she said that.

“Ehhh, so that’s just a joke? I thought you both would look pretty good together though.”

“I would never touch Akane’s Onii–chan. Since I know Akane is a bro– …….”

I have no idea what they are talking about, but they seem to be really close.

I guess I would be intruding them if I stay here huh. Let’s just go upstairs to take a nap.

“It’s really so sad, that Hiroto-sama quit streaming.”

“Really right. He was like my reason for living.”

“I think I had kept some spare contacts in my pocket.”

“I want to put it on, so can I use your washroom sink?”

“Yaaawwwwnnnnn. I slept soooo weeeeellllll.”

Uwaaa, it’s already past three hours. I slept a little too much.

Even my hairstyle that the salon-san made for me is also all ruffled up.

Even though I have an assignment that is due tomorrow, and I have to complete it asap.

Speaking of which, is Kano-chan still in here?

It’s quite quiet downstairs, so I guess she had already left for home.

After I left the room, I rushed into the washroom, towards the sink. and opened it.

And when I reached there, there was a girl standing in front of me.

As my eyes were still kind of blurry, I couldn’t make out who it was, but well, it’s definitely just Akane after all.

Having a sort of mischievous feeling coming in me all of a sudden, I quietly reached out my right hand to the girl’s shoulder.

“Arre~ Akane? What’s the mat—ter …… Kyaaaaaaaaaa…!”
