To the Person I Love and Hate the Most… - Chapter 9
New Place…
The following weekend, on my day off, Natsumi and I decide to visit real estate agents to look for places to rent.
Honestly, since we don’t have much time, I think we should just settle with a moderate place.
However, she is quite picky and it is quite difficult to find a place that suits her preferences.
Natsumi has been living with her roommate all this time after all, I think that’s why she really wants to find a place that makes her comfortable.
Afterwards, we also go to home appliance stores to look at some things that we will need for our new life together.
Again, she is quite picky about it, which led us into a bit of a fight.
I realize that as we are getting closer with each other, we will inevitably see each other’s flaws.
During the preparations of us moving together, Natsumi also met my parents.
I can feel her sincerity about us living together, that’s why I really trust her this time and do everything I can to help her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then, the day Natsumi moves out of her roommate’s place finally arrives…
Right now, I am waiting alone at our new place.
The time feels unusually long.
I’m getting more and more worried about whether she’s be able to leave that place smoothly or not…
Before coming here, I told Natsumi that maybe we should tell everything to her roommate.
Wouldn’t it better for her to move out and tell her roommate the truth?
I thought that would be easier than to deal with troublesome conflicts in the future when he finds out about this.
Of course, we need to prepare ourselves for some trouble when we tell him about it…
When I suggested so, Natsumi said,
“I think it could get really bad if we tell him about it directly. I don’t want to put Ma-kun in danger! My roommate has a drinking party tomorrow, so he won’t be home. I can pack my things and move out during that time. Telling him directly about it will only make him angry, so I think it’s best to leave him a note and move out quietly. Then we can tell him about it after he calms himself down.”
Hearing so, I decided to go with her plan.
Certainly, I don’t want to anger him and let him hurt Natsumi or myself.
While contemplating about this, I receive a message from Natsumi saying that she has finished packing and she is on the way here.
I feel relieved.
Around two hours later, Natsumi’s belongings arrive at our new place.
While I am carrying her things inside, Natsumi arrives.
I actually want to hug her right away, but the moving company staffs are here, so I can’t do it.
After the moving company staffs finished moving Natsumi’s belongings inside the house, Natsumi whispers to me,
“I’m going to use a little trick to get a little discount. So Ma-kun, why don’t you go out and buy us some drinks for a while?”
I’m puzzled by her words, but I decided to do as she says.
I quickly go to a nearby convenience store, buy some drinks, and rush back home.
I’m curious of what Natsumi is up to.
The door is slightly opened, so I decided to take a peek inside.
When I look through the gap of the door, I see Natsumi is talking to the male staff seductively.
“Ehh~~ That’s a little expensive, can’t you give us a discount?”
The staff slightly blushes and says,
“Well, I can offer a discount on the consumption tax, but anything more than that, I’m not sure…”
It seems like Natsumi is trying to negotiate for a better deal with him.
To my surprise, Natsumi suddenly says,
“Phew~ It’s a bit hot, isn’t it?”
Natsumi says so as she loosens her shirt and glances at him.
Seeing so, I’m boiling with anger.
“I’m home!”
I said so loudly.
The male staff panics.
“Here is the invoice.”
With a disappointed face, Natsumi pays the money and the mover staff leaves.
“What were you thinking? Why did you do something like that?”
With an angry expression, I ask her so.
“It’s fine, cute girls often use this little trick, you know ♪”
She said so as if it was no big deal.
I got angry at Natsumi, who seems oblivious to the danger.
“There is no need to do such things! What would you do if he attacked you!?”
“I can easily handle situations like that♪ Come on, don’t be jealous♪”
She said so and kissed my cheek.
I begin to feel worried about the differences of our way of thinking and our future life together…
