Vol 1 Chapter 3 – Childhood Friend
Bright red hair. Upturned red eyes. A spirited girl with an aggressive streak.
Her body doesn’t match her fifteen years—she’s stacked with what I’d estimate to be H-cup breasts… Huh! Her thighs are thick and round, and her rear looks perfectly suited for bearing children.
Despite her voluptuous frame, the way her waist curves in is genuinely miraculous. I’d prefer if her belly soft spilled a bit over her underwear given how full everything else is… but this too is wonderful in its own way.
Yes, that’s what I realized when I started seeing Ryshia.
“I feel a rather unpleasant stare. Are you picking a fight?”
“My apologies.”
I shrug my shoulders at Ryshia, whose gaze cuts like she’s looking at filth.
“You seem to be running a brisk business as always.”
She frowns as she glances at the empty shelves and their product placards.
“Really… I despise you from the bottom of my heart. Selling your body so carelessly to strangers.”
“That’s harsh, isn’t it?”
I respond to Ryshia with a wry smile.
“And you lost your virginity to me, no less.”
“~~!”
At my next words, Ryshia’s cheeks flush crimson in an instant, her gaze snapping directly toward me.
That gaze—burning with lust.
“Heh heh heh. Getting horny? Want a quickie?”
“You complete pervert!”
Ryshia spits out crude words at me as I mime the gestures of intercourse with both hands.
“That stubborn attitude of yours is cute, you know.”
“Drop dead.”
In a world where every woman submits to men—to sperm—at the genetic level, Ryshia alone has the mental fortitude to maintain that defiant tsundere attitude toward me. It’s because we’re childhood friends; she developed immunity to men early on and isn’t starved for male attention. Both of us lost our virginity to each other when we were very young.
“Fufufu.”
“Hoo, hoo, hoo! Round and round…”
So Ryshia can act tough with me because she has that rational foundation, but if I handle her roughly or reject her, she crumbles instantly and clings to me desperately.
Her personality’s terrible, but watching that stubborn girl transform into an abandoned puppy and cling to me… there’s definitely something thrilling about it.
It’s genuine art.
“Man, I’m really twisted, huh.”
“Don’t act surprised now…”
This wouldn’t be conceivable anywhere else. I’d probably be executed just for thinking it. Charged with some crime or other.
Well, this is a world where such depravity is permitted, so here we are.
“Anyway, changing subjects—is that thing I asked you to make ready yet?”
“…You really do change topics. So abruptly it leaves me bewildered.”
“It’s important, though.”
“It’s done. This is it.”
Ryshia pulls a box from her pocket and tosses it to me.
“Oh, thanks!”
I catch it cleanly and check the contents.
“Yeah, no mistake. This is what I asked for.”
“You should be grateful I arranged it for you, you know.”
“Of course. I’m always grateful.”
“…S-so long as you are. S-so then? What on earth is that for?”
“Hmm? Magical research. Thought it might be useful.”
“Hm? I don’t understand, but… if you say so, then I suppose it must be.”
Magic exists in this world.
In my previous life, I was both an erotic-minded boy and thoroughly afflicted with chuunibyou—eighth-grader syndrome. I’ve thrown myself completely into the male fantasy that is magic here.
“So, Ryshia, I’m about to have dinner… Want to eat with me?”
“I’ll eat with you.”
“Roger that. I’ll make enough for two. Feel free to browse the shop downstairs or head upstairs for a bit. Just make yourself comfortable.”
“I’m not staying down here. I’m going upstairs with you.”
“Mm.”
And so I head up to the second floor of this shop—my living quarters—with Ryshia in tow.
Vol 1 Chapter 4 – Cooking
This world differs from my previous one in countless ways.
Foods I’d never seen before, cooking methods, seasonings—they’re scattered everywhere.
“Hum, hum, humming…”
I boldly sear dragon meat sourced from an adventurer while simultaneously preparing a sauce.
Dragon meat for the first time… normally I’d want to season it simply with salt, but my palate isn’t mature enough to go wild over just salt.
I make a soy sauce-based steak sauce.
The other world had no soy sauce, but I made it. It’s a dream collaboration between dragon meat exclusive to this world and Earth’s soy sauce.
“Done.”
I plate the finished steak with mashed potatoes and bring it to Ryshia waiting at the dining table.
“…You really were cooking something outrageous.”
“Right? Dragon meat. Cost me a fortune.”
Dragon meat isn’t something you acquire easily.
I spent considerable money to get my hands on it… food really is important. I want to be meticulous about it.
“…So you’re selling your body to buy expensive dragon meat.”
“Man, you’re really digging deep today, huh.”
“…I think about it constantly.”
“That’s awful. I’m treating you to dinner, and that’s what you say. Actually, it’s not a loss for me. I can go multiple times a day. If not someone like me, who should be making children?”
“…”
“Population growth doesn’t hurt anyone, right? It might ease the government’s pitiful efforts slightly.”
One man for every ten thousand women.
In a world so devoid of men that you won’t find a single one outside the major cities, humanity has only managed to build civilization thanks to magic.
By carefully assigning the strictly managed male population and children, the state maintains itself, and magic compensates for the perpetual labor shortage.
Maximizing limited human resources, enduring frequent disasters with despair, exerting all strength each time… constantly teetering between survival and extinction.
That’s the war this world fights. There’s no one who loses if I father many children.
“Besides, the law requires every man to have twelve wives and impregnate one woman monthly. I’m going to be with many women anyway… might as well not worry about it, right?”
“Don’t spout that nonsense—a man who sleeps with random women indiscriminately.”
“That’s harsh. Come on, the food’s getting cold. Let’s eat.”
“Yes, let’s.”
The tense atmosphere from before evaporates entirely.
Ryshia and I take our seats normally and begin eating.
“Mm… Oh? Dragon meat is delicious.”
“Yeah, seriously. It’s so tender.”
As Ryshia and I dig into the steak first, we both open our eyes wide in surprise.
Honestly, I hadn’t expected dragon meat to taste good. I’d imagined something tough… but there’s barely any gamey smell.
The fat content might be rough on the stomach with age… but for two young people eating it now? It’s exceptional.
“Today’s cooking was a success!”
“Yes, it was. Thank you for the delicious meal.”
“Hehe, you’re welcome.”
The dragon meat was delicious.
So what should I cook next?
With grand ambitions of devouring every delicacy this other world has to offer, I contemplate what to try next—all while savoring the dragon meat before me.
