As the battle ensued, one thing became clear to me. Both the police and the yakuza were all prioritizing me as their main target. Even if there were other students nearby, they would still choose to target me over anyone else if they saw a perfect opportunity to attack me. The enemes were truly foolish. They kept repeating the same move. I sidestepped to avoid their charging attack and shouted at the students.

“Yes!!”

The students responded eagerly. Several of them tackled the yakuza members. Physically speaking, they shouldn’t be able to bring these burly yakuza down, but because the students outnumbered them and they were putting their entire strength into it, they managed to take down the yakuza. Taking advantage of the opening, I took down the remaining yakuza members with an uppercut.

The yakuza fell unconscious to the ground with their eyes rolled back.

Upon realizing our victory a few seconds after me, the students erupted in cheers. Of course. It was not everyday you got to fight yakuza and police officers combined and came out as the victor practically unscathed. The thrill of the victory was even more special to them because of who our opponent was. It was our complete victory. 

I was about to let my guard down, thinking I could finally take a breather when suddenly… That happened. 

“Tch… More are coming?”

The students hadn’t noticed it yet, but the second wave of attackers was closing on us really fast. Judging from their figures, it seemed there were more police officers than yakuza this time. We wouldn’t be able to come out unscathed if this match turned into a gunfight. Just what should I do…?!
