The Villainous Uncle in the Adult Game Gets Unusually High Praise from the Heroines - Chapter 3
A week had passed since I became the master of the house that had once belonged to my older brother.
During this time, all I’d done was prepare for what would soon begin — the original story’s events.
Even as the supposedly strongest NTR uncle character, going in without a plan would be a sure way to fail.
I’d lose everything, leaving my future in ruins.
So first things first, I decided to focus on making money.
You see, in the original story, this man called Takeshi Tendo was supposed to live off the inheritance left by his brother.
Personally, I thought it was shameful for an NTR character to target Sakurako-chan just for that purpose, but well, that was how the original story went.
Surprisingly, my means of earning money as Takeshi Tendo was through investments: day trading, stocks, forex, and such.
In other words, making money move without working, increasing what I already had on hand. The fact that it actually turned into a profit was probably due to the story’s convenient game logic.
When I actually used Takeshi Tendo’s knowledge to move money around, my funds increased as if by magic. So much so that I couldn’t help muttering, “This can’t be real.”
It would be wise not to expect this convenience to continue after the original story ended.
The so-called “plot armor” likely wouldn’t last beyond the story’s conclusion, which was after all the heroines had been conquered. I thus needed to act with this in mind.
That was the reason why I was currently going all out to further enrich myself. Fortunately, the gods seemed to be on my side.
In just one week, my money had increased by hundreds of thousands of yen, and at this rate, I could live without working while keeping women by my side, even splurging on some luxuries.
Now then.
Naturally, I hadn’t forgotten about community interactions, especially since there was a heroine-to-be living in the neighborhood.
That person was Aina Rindo, the mother of Sakurako-chan’s childhood friend, Sho Rindo.
She had rich black hair and large breasts. Her age wasn’t revealed in the eroge game, but from what I could see, she didn’t look over forty.
She had lost her husband to illness when her child was still a baby, and was now raising him as a single mother. My plan was to exploit the emptiness in Aina’s heart, infiltrate, and become close to her.
Given her loneliness and desire for male companionship, she might be surprisingly easy to win over. All the equipment I’d gathered was for when I would need to invite a certain person into the house later on.
This person was a sub-heroine character who would lead to me meeting another heroine connected to Sho Rindo.
In the original story, she was supposed to be tamed by my “magical rod”, but I doubted I possessed such techniques.
I hence decided to play it safe. Our meeting was meant to happen in town during the day.
If I just wandered around in front of the station, we’d surely meet sooner or later.
While the story’s compulsory force or divine guidance would probably make her approach me on her own, first impressions were important, so I paid careful attention to my appearance.
First and foremost was cleanliness.
I meticulously combed and styled my hair, and wore clean, well-maintained clothes. While this wouldn’t make me handsome, I’d at least look like a decent and friendly middle-aged man.
I hadn’t even started wandering around the station when she approached me. She was dressed exactly as she had been in the game — casual and wearing a hoodie.
With fluffy blonde hair and blue eyes, the slightly gyaru-looking girl addressed me in a sweet, doe-eyed manner.
“Hey, Oji-san? I have a tiny favor to ask…”
Looking at her, I carefully kept my expression neutral while responding cheerfully.
“What is it?”
“Well, you see, I forgot my wallet. So I’d really appreciate it if you could help me out…”
“Oh, is that so?”
I responded in an exaggerated tone of surprise.
“That’s terrible. How much do you need?”
Hearing those words, the girl’s expression lit up as if she’d been waiting for this moment.
“About this much?”
She showed me her open palm, and then…
“You’re pretty handsome, Oji-san. If you give me that much, I could… show my appreciation, you know?”
“I see.”
After pausing as if considering it, I said, “Well then, would you like to join me for some tea?”
“Huh?”
After showing a briefly surprised expression, she answered, “I-if that’s what you want.”
Of course she’d agree.
Right now, she needed money more than anything else.
“Shall we go then?”
“Y-yeah…”
Her face showed concern, as if wondering if she’d approached someone troublesome.
I walked ahead of her. She’d soon see. I’d make her into someone who couldn’t live without me.
