Summary
Ragna has reincarnated as the third son of a noble family with lands in the frontier.
Thrilled at the prospect of living freely in another world without the responsibility of inheriting the family estate, his excitement was short-lived. Following the death of his father and two brothers in battle, Ragna finds himself unexpectedly taking over the family.
Unfamiliar with managing the estate and continuing the family legacy, he now faces the challenge of navigating noble duties, including attending an elite academy in the capital. As if adjusting to these responsibilities wasn't overwhelming enough, an arranged marriage to a high-ranking noble's daughter is thrust upon him.
This is when Ragna recalls a crucial detail about his new reality – this world mirrors that of an otome game, where his fiancée is known as the game's antagonist.
I really didn’t want to be negative, but this does feel like a bit of a letdown. I really have to stop reading the novels of manga I’m interested in, I regret it nearly every time.
Besides being a mix of Mobuseka and Jujutsu Kaisen, I thought it had real potential. But with the MC going between psycho killer and “pure love” schoolboy, it just didn’t quite find a balance.
Even with that, maybe others wouldn’t mind the read. Just don’t expect it to progress much.
I was driven to keep reading, anticipating the heartfelt consummation of the current romance, plus the ancient ones! But I have to admit it was getting tedious. Although so many backstories were revealed, no progress was actually made in all the unrequited love sagas here. In the end, It’s actually a bit of a mercy killing that the story seems to have been dropped.
It started off ok, basically all after chapter 5 is just a waste of time, the characters barely interact with each other, Alicia and Ragna have the exact amount of 0 romantic interactions. The author seems to be really inexpert, the novel tries so hard to hide the “mysteries” who everyone already knows because the story is that generic, that when them are revealed, nobody cares since the characters never got to talk for more than 30 seconds. Besides that it is difficult to read, the characters are so replaceable that the dialogues get lost and you have to guess who said what.
crappy novel
the title is misleading no shred of romance.
mc is stupid and impulsive.
If you are considering reading this for “romance” don’t waste your time.
MC and Female lead have 0 romantic interaction.
The novel started strong but quickly degraded into the same old stereotypes:
Female lead who shut up MC threatening him being more aggressive as time passes; MC who can’t talk back at all; Wife/Husband relationship where even touching hands is reserved for 73 years after marriage.
The only romance you will find here is between a female character (MC and FL friend) and the Female lead, because the author is trying to copy the Yuri bait between the 2 female leads from “Mobuseka”
