The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 73- Ichinose\'s confession

It was after breakfast when the group of three sat around the living room while doing nothing but chatting about school and stuff.

Well, even though there were three people in the living room, only two of them were talking majorly. Yui was just sticking close to her Senpai and hearing his heartbeat. To make her separate from her Senpai seemed to be the most hideous crime—as such Ichinose no longer objected to his sister being so intimate with his friend in front of him.

“We are finally in the latter half of our third year. Feels like, once graduate, we won’t be able to hang out like this.” Hearing Riku sigh, Yui’s hold on his shirt, tightened a bit. The thought of not being able to meet her Senpai for long; troubled her greatly.

Riku softly caressed the girl sitting on his lap and calmed her anxiety wordlessly. Even if he couldn’t meet his friends and other acquaintances once he entered University, it didn’t mean his girlfriend would have to face the same treatment.

“What are you even saying? Remember, our government has put strict orders on universities and all private or public organizations to keep the working hours of men, under forty hours a week.”

Ichinose replied nonchalantly as he laid back on his recliner chair and munched on chocolate bites.

Since the male ratio of the world was so unbalanced, governments of most countries provide extreme leeway when it comes to the male populace once they turn adults.

“That’s quite discriminatory…but well, I was going to pursue my hobby in the first place. What about you, Ichi?” Riku was well set on attending a literature course at University and then start working on his novels in the future. He has many inspirations and short stories written but never found the courage to share them with anyone.

“Me? Well, dunno. Might as well become a gigolo.”

Ichinose chuckled as he remembered something that happened a while ago—that gave him the idea of how he wouldn’t starve even if he didn’t work after graduating from college.

Riku raised his brows in surprise hearing that, since, before today Ichinose never even thought of becoming a house husband.

“Ichi….are you already seeing someone?” It has been more than a month since Riku had a normal conversation with Ichinose. All these days, he was so preoccupied with his ‘oh-so-depressing life’ that Riku never got to hear much from Ichinose.

“Well yeah…and not one but three of them…”

“Eh?!”

“Huh?” Even Yui turned to look over her shoulder, at how shocking this news was.

Ichinose felt a little embarrassed being stared at like that before he retaliated, “Don’t ‘eh’ me! I couldn’t abandon a person who genuinely likes me so much.”

Ichinose crossed his arms over his chest and looked toward his left; not wanting to continue looking at the two.

Yui soon shook her head and snuggled back into her Senpai’s chest. She didn’t want to burden her mind with the thought of anything and just enjoy the warmth she was receiving after a whole thirty-six days and sixteen hours.

“I understand that you began dating Akechi-san so her mother doesn’t make her transfer school…but are you guys still pretending to be in a relationship? And what about the other two?”

Ichinose composed himself a little as he spoke, “I am dating Miu for real, now. Things happened between us while you two were ignoring me, and I realized how much she cares about me. ”

There was a certain emotion akin to fondness in his voice when he spoke about Miu—making Riku a little relieved that his friend finally understood her feelings.

“Then there is Miho-san…whom I originally thought to be infatuated by you.”

Yui turned to look over her shoulder again, however, this time, it seemed she was glaring at her brother to even spout something so nonsensical.

Riku wryly smiled at the reaction before he skipped the topic, “Then, you are dating Miho as well. What about the third one?”

Ichinose ignored his sister’s glare before responding, “Mizuo-san as well, confessed her feelings a little while ago, and the way she unfolded her thoughts about me…I was genuinely scared for a moment. However, the very thought of rejecting the girl made me feel troubled. As such…”

“…you are now dating all three of them. Great.” Riku was somewhat surprised and genuinely satisfied with this arrangement. He knew about the feelings of the three girls for a while now, and thankfully, it didn’t take Riku’s interference for them to confess their feelings to Ichinose.

“However, there is a favor I want to ask from you both.”

Riku raised his brows and wordlessly urged his friend to continue.

With a troubled sigh escaping his lips, Ichinose asked, “This weekend, I am going to introduce them to each other. Although they all have an idea that I am dating multiple girls, I still haven’t officially introduced them to each other. As such, I will take your and Yui’s assistance in this meeting.”

Riku remained silent on that. Although he would like to help his friend, he wasn’t sure whether Yui would agree to it—which ushered him to ask in a whisper,

“Yui…please?” The frown on Yui’s face clearly told how she didn’t want to get involved in this drama. However, how could she even allow herself to reject such a sweet plea from her Senpai?

She shook her head vertically.

“Alright, we will be there.”

Ichinose’s eyes brightened before he got up from his seat.

“Great! I will inform them right away. Ah and, Riku, you are staying here tonight, right?”

Yui’s hold on his shirt fastened again, making Riku chuckle a bit before he responded, “Yup. Already have informed Mom.”

“Alright, then. I will go and buy some snacks and rent some movies. Yui…do you want me to buy something for you?”

Hearing her brother’s request, she nodded.

“Alright then, unblock me and text me whatever you need.”

Saying so Ichinose was about to walk away when suddenly Riku asked, “Wait, unblock? Why has Yui blocked your contact?”

Yui flinched hearing the question. However, before she could stop, her stupid Ani spilled the beans,

“Not only me but everyone in her contact is now blocked except for you. While you guys were in your separation arc, every notification she received made her excited…only to find out it was from someone else. As such, she blocked everyone. Oh, and she also got a habit of staring at your pic-”

“Shut it already!” A teary-eyed Yui glared at her brother before warning him. He was saying a little too much now!

Ichinose grinned at the reaction before he literally skipped his way out of the living room. It was just the beginning; there were many things Ichinose needed his friend to know about Yui~

Left alone in the living room, Yui hesitantly looked up at her Senpai.

In response, Riku was barely holding himself from showing how sad he was, hearing that. The very thought of how Yui must be eagerly waiting for his text weighed over his shoulder.

Embracing the girl tightly in his arms, Riku couldn’t help muttering, “I have hurt you a lot, haven’t I?”

Yui was startled by the sudden closeness but rejecting him was the last thing she could think of. She circled her small arms around his waist before uttering, “I missed you, Senpai….I was alone…and hopeless…thank you for giving me another chance…”

Riku took a long breath of relief to hold the girl he loved so much, right in his arms. Riku always thought that he could live all alone. After what happened during his childhood he was sure of it.

However, now that he was holding this girl and hearing her soft breathe, Riku knew, his life without Yui was incomplete.

It wasn’t just her, who yearned for him. Riku too, needed his Yui.
