The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 59- Friends?
Kuriyama Mizuo was in distress.
Recently, she was able to accomplish something that she was yearning for thirty months. A wish that helped Mizuo realize how there were other things in the world, than her research and studies.
She grew attracted to Ichinose after a certain incident on her first day in school and after that, she wasn’t even able to talk to him properly. She occasionally tried sending him gifts but most of the time, he rejected them. A trait that very less male possesses.
If not for Ichinose’s best friend, Riku, Mizuo didn’t think there would come a day when she would be talking to Ichinose on good terms and also, would have his number saved on her phone.
Like, they were chatting and texting more so often these days, that Mizuo thought she had reached the epitome of happiness.
They were finally growing closer with time and Mizuo was quite elated by the development rate…until she didn’t find out that Ichinose had already begun dating someone.
“…why are you telling me this, all of a sudden?” Mizuo’s head remained hanging low as she turned the pages of his notebook mindlessly. She had no preparation for this sudden announcement and didn’t know how she should have reacted.
For someone like Ichinose, who has always been away from things like dating and such…to gain a partner without any prior notice…Mizuo indeed needed some time to process all this.
“I just wanted to let you know. There’s nothing more to it.” Ichinose’s tone remained heavy and seemingly not very casual, as it always tends to be.
Mizuo was so occupied by not letting her true emotion surface that she totally missed how guilty and concerned Ichinose looked at the moment.
“I am going home.” Closing the notebook with an audible slam, Mizuo got up. She was getting suffocated in here and needed some time to sort out her thoughts.
However, just as she was about to move, Ichinose held her by the wrist, weakly.
Mizuo didn’t turn to look at him and waited for him to say something. She desired to hear that everything he said was just a joke. That she still has the opportunity to become one with him. That his relationship with Akechi Miu was nothing but fake.
…however, he said nothing and that was all she needed to listen.

[In the library]
Riku was somehow able to pull his mind away from the scribblings he saw in the notebook. He didn’t know…Yui was so attached to him.
The fact that she has written only his name, and nothing else, over and over again, signifies how deeply she adores him. And Riku found his heart moved a little.
“Here, write from this point to this. Don’t add the examples and just the element point, to show that you do know about the topics but chose to stick with the core question in hand.” Riku advised the girl while pointing out the book he had taken out of the shelf.
Yui nodded and began writing everything in her notebook in neat and presentable handwriting. Riku raised his brows upon seeing how accurate her word margin always remained.
Time passed by as the girl silently wrote everything her senior told her. Three hours down and she has already finished sixty percent of her work.
“Let’s take a break,” Riku announced as Yui finally put down the pen and did a little stretch, which ended up pulling her shirt, exposing some fragment of her pale white skin.
Riku noticed it and checked nearby if someone looked at her…but fortunately, there was none.
Unaware of her Senpai’s caution, Yui laid down on the table with her arms folded and her head resting over them. She was too tired to move even a bit.
“Wait here. I will bring something nice and cool for you.” Yui was surprised when suddenly her Senpai draped his jacket over her and walked out of the place.
‘Senpai’s scent…’ Inhaling the lingering fragrance on his jacket blended with his deodorant, Yui felt her heart calming down and her mind turning hazy.
She was resting comfortably when someone called out to her, “Yui?”
Yui knew that voice, that’s why she didn’t ignore them and lifted her face to greet back.
“Kaori? How come you are at the library of all places.” It was her best friend, Kurokawa Kaori with two of her friends whom Yui also knew. They were also her classmates but Yui didn’t talk to them much.
“I am also studious at times, you know.” Kaori took the seat opposite the person she countered, followed by the two girls who sat on either side.
“Are you finishing your assignment, Yui-san?” The pink-haired girl asked with a slight blush spread across her fluffy cheeks. And it wasn’t just the pink head but the other girl as well, with such a bashful expression.
Yui was not just a beautiful classmate to them, her mature behavior and how well she handled every situation, always left everyone in awe. And thus, such a reaction.
“Ah, yes I am. Most of the work has been done…what about you guys?” Yui could entertain the three while her Senpai was away, so she asked casually.
Kaori unwrapped her scarf as she answered her friend, “To study, of course. For the exams.”
Yui frowned at that. The finals were almost four months apart yet this girl was already in the process…seriously, sometimes Kaori fretted a lot more than she should. She was fairly good in her studies, but her desire to do better never let the girl, rest even on holidays.
“Don’t give me that judgemental look.” Kaori snorted as she took out her laptop from her bag and was about to open it when suddenly, Yui got up from her seat and pressed the laptop back to its previous state.
Kaori gazed at her friend in confusion, before Yui stated the reason for her action, “You can’t study here….I-I am not alone.”
Kaori raised her brows before her eyes drifted toward the jacket draped over Yui’s shoulder. And also the way her books were sprawled, it was clear that someone was accompanying her.
And as her best friend, it didn’t take long for Kaori to know what could make Yui so flustered.
A thin grin spread across her face as Kaori expressed her intrusive thought, “Nope! I am gonna meet him today as well.”
Yui narrowed her eyes at that, however, Kaori didn’t waver and kept on staring at her best friend with no sign of backing off, at all.
All of a sudden, a small thud broke the silence as a certain someone put the coffee cup down on the table.
Kaori beamed with a smile before she called out for the person,
“Ah, Senpai~”
