The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister! - Chapter 40- Anxious?
Yui was restless.
She has been brought to meet her parents even though she had to do nothing with them.
Yui was thankful that they gave birth to her and her Nii-san and provided them with a good lifestyle but Yui disliked the fact that their parents always put this air of obligation around them whenever they invited Ichinose and Yui for a ‘meeting’.
Occasionally Tsukasa Raeji and Tsukasa Kaori come to greet their children and ask about their well-being. Whether Ichinose and Yui were alive or dead was asked in these small meetings.
Yui also fulfills her role as the daughter of the family out of obligation but for her brother, he has always seemed to be attached to their parents.
Yui never said anything to Ichinose regarding the matter except for a warning to never harbor any expectation from those two. Ichinose knows that yet still when they were invited today to a high-end restaurant at the heart of Tokyo, the shine in Ichinose’s eyes spoke it all, how elated he was to see the middle-aged couple.
“Are you paying attention in class, Ichi, or still focused on sports?” The brown-haired beautiful lady who wore a business suit with a pearl necklace adorning her swan-like neck was the mother of the two.
“Yes, mom. I have received good marks in the recent test as well.” Ichinose, just like a diligent child, informed his mother and earned a fond smile in return.
Yui barely held herself from rolling her eyes at the owner-puppy relationship they carried.
‘Why aren’t you picking up your phone, Senpai…’ Her attention was mostly occupied with her phone on which a name was constantly flashing on the screen.
For the past half an hour, Yui had been trying to call her Senpai yet it wasn’t connecting for some reason. Even the texts weren’t being delivered, which signified that his phone might be switched off.
For some reason she was feeling heavy in her chest for some time concerning her Senpai…like something bad was about to happen to him. She knew her Senpai wasn’t a kid but still…Yui just felt there was something wrong with this day.
“Ah…” Feeling the little shake of her shoulder, Yui turned to look at her brother, only to notice that every eye was fixated on her.
It seemed she was unresponsive to them.
“Yui…are you unwell?” Her father, a raven-haired and sharp-eyed man wearing an expensive three-piece suit, asked in a tone of concern to which Yui shook her head.
It was hilarious how these two people seemed to be so caring and worrisome to their children for just this brief duration since other than that, the Tsukasa couple doesn’t even bat an eye on how the siblings are doing.
“Is everything fine with you at school, Yui?” Hearing her mother’s question, Yui nodded without bothering to extend her answer and present a paragraph about her daily life and such.
Yui felt Ichinose tugging her skirt to tell her how impolite Yui must be seeming right now, but Yui played ignorant and remained seated indifferently.
“It seems you still hate us, Yui.” Her father’s tone couldn’t have been any more pitiful than it was at the moment as he voiced his concern about his daughter’s behavior.
Another urge to roll her eyes which Yui refrained quite masterfully before replying in her all-time innocent tone, “What are you saying, dad…how can I ever hate my parents?”
Yui did try reasoning with them some years ago. Tried to tell them how much Ichinose and Yui desired parental support and the warmth that only a father and mother could provide.
However, after realizing that they wouldn’t understand how much Yui tries to persuade them because of their ‘Work’ and ‘Ambition’, Yui quit being real and adapted a facade to face her parents.
“It’s good that you understand our circumstances and have matured Yui. Mama is proud of you.”
Yui’s hand was patted by the lady who wasn’t praising Yui for being mature and understanding rather she was thankful that Yui had finally accepted the reality and had compromised those demands that Yui once used to bring forward.
‘Convenience is all you want, right Mama?’ As she thought, this meeting was nothing but a mood spoiler for her.
And more so, after the encounter with that bi*ch named Hitomi, Yui’s mood was worsened to the point where a big tight hug from Senpai could only heal her.
The three continued chatting while Yui was texting and calling her Senpai continuously, with her anxiety rising, passing each second.
Yui: [Are you angry because I said or did something?]
Yui: [ You are scaring me Senpai, please reply as soon as you can _/_ ]
Yui: [ Why is your phone not reachable?]
Yui: [I am missing you, Senpai.]
Yui: [As I thought, you really are angry with Yui…]
How much she tried, no reply came.
Her foot was tapping rapidly on the ground and her mind was thrown into turmoil. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Yui even texted Miho only to realize that the girl hadn’t returned home together with Senpai that day.
Because of her continuous calls and texts to Riku, Yui was ignoring the messages incoming from other people. But for some reason, her best friend’s message was popping a lot on the notification bar.
‘What does she want now…’
Tapping on the chat box in a little annoyance, Yui first read the message before her gaze shifted toward the picture sent to her.
*SLIDE*
Every gaze once again turned toward Yui who suddenly stood up from her chair with her eyes widened in utter shock.
“Yui?” She didn’t hear her father’s voice before she turned to look at Ichinose and voiced her parting words.
“Senpai..he..I need to see him.” With that, she dashed away.
“Yui wait-”
“Wait, mom. Don’t stop her. ” Ichinose stood in front of his mother who was about to chase Yui.
Ichinose didn’t know what had happened but from Yui’s reaction, it seemed this was serious.
However, before Ichinose leaves to check on Yui or call Riku, he needs to handle the situation here or his parents might create a scene afterward.
“I need you two to listen to what I have to say.”

A/N:- Guess what Ichinose would tell them. It won’t be mentioned anytime soon, hehe.
