Yui was experiencing a set of emotions but all of them revolved around anger and annoyance.

The girl, who dared to send letters to her Senpai and had the gall to propose to him in front of everyone which made her Senpai so troubled…Yui had more than enough reason to hate the girl down to her soul.

If anything was stopping Yui from drawing her nails and grating the face of the bitch was the cameras, which were installed near the stairs. The bitch has chosen the worst spot to meet Yui.

‘Should I drag her somehow to a corner…? ‘ The thought was tempting and Yui had her weapons secured. She could at least make the girl go bald so she could remain away from her Senpai for a little longer.

“What do you need from me?”No harm in asking about the girl’s intention first.

Hearing Yui’s query, the grin on Hitomi’s face only stretched as she chirped, “I just wanted to ask something from you.”

For some reason, Yui already had an idea of what the girl would be asking here.

Commonly, every girl keeps an eye on the boy they like and surely Hitomi must have seen Yui and Riku acting so lovey-dovey in the morning. Also, the way Riku handed the love letter to Yui makes it all more simple to discern what Hitomi was going to confirm here.

Yui had already prepared herself to say the truth and declare her claim over her Senpai regardless of the consequences. However, when the blue-haired girl spoke out her following words, Yui’s mind went blank for a good while.

“When are you going to break up with Riku-kun?”

For instance, Yui wasn’t able to believe that she heard it. More like she didn’t want to believe someone could ask such a foolish question to her.

Yui…going to break up with…

She didn’t have to think even for a single fragment of a second before an answer escaped her lips, “Never…I am not going to break up with Senpai ever so keep your paws away from him before I shred them down, you understand? ”

Yui’s tone and her current expression might have even made Riku scared of her and justifiably so since the current Yui was not someone even Ichinose had seen before.

Her fists were clenched until her knuckles didn’t turn white with her teeth evidently grinding against each other.

Regardless of what reaction Hitomi held her smile before she tilted slightly toward Yui and whispered in a teasing tone, “Well, I only hope you can save him from me and keep up your commitments of ‘forever’ and ‘ever’ … ”

This was it, Yui lost it.

Raising her hand she was about to slap Hitmoi right across the face and probably not stop for a good while when suddenly someone grabbed her arm from behind.

“Yui, don’t. ”

It was Ichinose.

Yui glared at her brother with her eyes containing fury which surprised Ichinose but he already had guessed the reason for his sister’s anger so he didn’t scold her.

He glanced at Hitomi for once and saw her smiling all along without a single flinch in expression.

‘Weirdo…. ‘ Ichinose didn’t say anything to her and dragged Yui away who was trying her best to resist her brother but to no avail.

Glaring back at the girl, Yui decided she would have her ‘talk’ with the girl soon…

“Haah~How naive… ” Left alone on the stairs, Hitomi sighed under her breath as she suddenly turned her palm which revealed a smartphone.

Tapping on the home button, the familiar face of the boy whom Hitomi confessed today popped up before Hitomi walked toward the window of the third floor and threw the mobile phone into the pond built on the backside of the school.

Dusting off her palms she couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement building inside of her as she muttered her breath, “Finally, the obstacle is removed… ” Her eyes darted toward the classroom where her ‘crush’ was currently studying.

‘I am coming for you, Riku~’

[Riku’s POV: ]

Around three, I left the school building with no one along with me unlike usual.

Miho had to go with her friends so she apologized for not coming with me. I assured her that it was okay.

Ichinose and Yui had already left school after the break so it was just me today, leisurely walking toward the home.

I wanted to call Yui but my phone battery has already died down. I didn’t have much cash with me as well so the plan to buy some groceries also needs to be delayed.

‘Since mom isn’t home, I should prepare something light for dinner… ‘ I planned on working out a little longer than usual today since there was no risk of mom today.

Having a nice workout session and then a warm bath followed by a good meal and black coffee…yeah, that sounds great.

With such thoughts, I made my way to the residential colony. It was then when I was only some meters away from my home that I suddenly saw a familiar person leaning on the street sign pole while clutching her abdomen.

It was Hitomi-san.

I first thought to ignore her since after the interaction we had this morning, it would be utterly embarrassing and awkward for me to approach her.

‘But she seems to be hurt…’ I wasn’t able to see her face clearly but with the intensity with which she was holding her belly, it seemed she was having some trouble. Her legs were shaking as well and breathing was evidently uneasy.

I shrugged off my concerns and walked up to the girl.

“Are you alright, Hitomi-san?”

“Ah…Riku-kun?” As I thought, her face was contoured in great pain and her face also seemed a bit too red to call it normal heat stroke.

“I-Its nothing…just period cramps… ”

…now I understand why she was stealing her gaze away from me like this. It must be embarrassing for her to say that but the pain must have been strenuous right now.

I naturally have never gone through such pain but have heard from my mother and have studied as well how much period cramps could hurt someone and for Hitomi-san to be on the streets at times like this….

I thought about the options. Calling Miho would take a whole lot of time since she went to the other side of the town with her friends. Yui must be busy with her parents and booking a taxi for Hitomi-san would also take a lot of time.

In the end, I could only think of a single yet best solution to the problem.

“Hitomi-san…I know it would sound ridiculous but would you like to rest a bit at my house? It’s just some steps away… ”

I invited the girl out of goodwill and did what anyone had done but at that time I never knew how this proposal would turn out to be my biggest mistake…
