The time when I forcibly slept with my friend's sister!

“Hey, let’s take a detour. I am having the urge to have some cold coffee.”

After exiting the school I proposed the idea.

It was already near four when we sorted out the problem with Ichi’s gifts. A butler from the main house of the Tsukasa family came and loaded everything in a Bentley before departing.

Miho already left with her friends only after she gave Ichi a hand-knitted red sweater which looked extremely adorable on him…was what the others said. From my perspective…well, let it be.

“Detour? You know we have a sick kid waiting for us back at home, right?”

Ichinose reminded me but I didn’t forget about Yui in the first place. It was rather the promise I made to Akechi-san which made me suggest the idea.

“Well, I was thinking of taking her favorite bubble mocha on the way back.”

Ichi nodded in realization before he accepted the request.

Seriously, how clueless this guy could be to think I would take Ice tea for a patient suffering from a cold. Sometimes I fear that this guy might get conned if I or Yui don’t stick around him.

We made our way toward the cafe which was on the other side of the route we generally take for our homes.

There were very few people around since this place was far from the station and mainly built for local customers.

Walking inside, it didn’t take me long to spot Akechi-san since apart from the fact that many gazes were stealing glances in that direction, her platinum-blond hair could be pointed out from a crowd easily.

“Ah, Akechi-san. “Since she was near the entrance she heard my voice easily as Ichi also directed his gaze in her direction.

Fortunately, despite her ears already shot red she waved at us which helped me throw the next pitch.

“Go sit with her. I will bring something. ”

For some reason, Ichi looked at me suspiciously before nodding his head and walking toward her table.

‘Great…now I just have to wait here… ‘

Ichi sat opposite Akechi-san with his back facing my direction.

Despite seeming awkward Akechi-san looked more assertive today since she greeted Ichi on her own initiative and was smiling a little more than usual as well.

‘Is she going to confess today or something… ‘

I didn’t know and I wish that doesn’t happen to be the case or Ichi would surely reject her. He barely knows Akechi-san and the way things were progressing I was sure near graduation, he might have come to like her. But right now it was too early.

Regardless, I didn’t try to pry and turned to order something when my phone buzzed.

“Hey, everything fine? “It was the first thing I said after picking up the call since generally, Yui likes to text.

Fortunately, her answer was not alarming, [Y-yeah…can’t I call from time to time?]

“Yeah, of course, you can. Anyway, did you eat something? ”

[Yup, some chicken soup. ]

“And medicine? ”

[Yeah…just took before calling you. ]

“Are you hydrating yourself properly? You know you would sweat a lot in this condition, right? ”

[Yes, yes, I am doing everything my worry wart Senpai.]

It was natural for me to get worried about my irresponsible junior, however, despite it seemed I was nagging her, there was not a speck of complaints in her voice.

My eyes roamed toward Ichi and Akechi-san as I saw the latter forwarding a small wrapped box toward him.

[By the way, Senpai, where are you? ]

“Ahm….downtown cafe. You remember Akechi-san? She wanted to talk about something with Ichi so to exclude myself, I have taken some distance and chatting with you by the counter.”

Yui replied with an ‘Oh… ‘ before the line went silent.

I glanced toward the menu for a moment before I asked the girl, “Do you want something from here? ”

Yui briefly remained silent before in a slightly lower tone she muttered something which made my mind blank for a moment.

[I…just want my Senpai.]

“…”

[…]

…

“… I will call you later. ”

I disconnected the call making it more so awkward. I knew it must be her fever acting up or she might be just teasing me but still it was too bold for her.

And recently the event occurred between us, I was no longer immune to her mischiefs.

“You done with your coffee? ” Suddenly, Ichi’s voice arrived from behind.

I was startled enough that I nearly dropped my phone only to catch it mid-air.

“Wha…I mean, where is Akechi-san?”

I looked toward the table and saw the blond girl was nowhere to be seen.

Ichi didn’t reply and just asked me to follow him.

After leaving the cafe, we walked some distance toward the station, when he finally spoke up.

“Akechi-san confessed to me.”

My steps staggered slightly as I heard his sudden announcement.

I could have never thought that no one but Akechi-san would drop the bomb so suddenly when she didn’t even have a decent conversation with Ichi before.

However, more than everything I wanted to know something urgently.

“And what did you say?”

Ichi remained silent for a bit, his eyes tracing the ground and hands in his pockets.

After a bit of more silent torture, he opened his mouth and said something surprising, “I haven’t answered her yet since I am unsure.”

“Hmm? How come? ”

Knowing Ichi’s personality, I was expecting him to reject her immediately but thankfully he didn’t break another maiden’s heart by mercilessly refusing them.

“She said she would be transferring schools and shifting abroad that’s why she wanted to confess her love before she moves away. After hearing this, I wasn’t sure how to respond to her so I asked for time. ”

I had no idea that Akechi-san was migrating and since she wasn’t the type who lies about things like this, it was given she would rush things up with Ichi. After all, who knows what happens when she leaves this place?

I was feeling proud of my friend’s decision for not outwardly refusing her as my hand made toward his shoulder before I mouthed some compliments while patting his shoulder.

“You did the right thing, Ichi. Father is proud of you.”

“Father my ass!”
