- Chapter 18 : Encounter with the Protagonist!
There are a total of four routes that can occur during the Field Trip event.
— Helping Sheria, the saintess, to rescue and treat students who are about to be attacked by magical beasts.
— Helping Ireina, the duke’s daughter, to evacuate students and defeat magical beasts together.
— Helping a girl who is the disciple of a sage to demonstrate power in front of the girl who is interested in magic.
— Rushing to the aid of a childhood friend of the protagonist who is about to be attacked.
At the same time, depending on which of these events you participate in, the favorability rating of the heroine whose heart you are trying to capture will increase. This choice becomes the first decision made by the player.
However, due to Alba’s current involvement with Sheria and Ireina, the likelihood of entering the first two routes is high.
Regarding the latter two routes, it’s unlikely that favorability will increase without getting involved…
‘…Now, what should I do?’
Alba ponders, realizing this important matter quite belatedly.
Currently, Alba and the others are following the instructions of their upperclassmen, blending in with other students and evacuating.
‘What’s about to happen is a situation where even the teachers can’t handle the magical beasts that will appear, and the students will be attacked. Sheria, being the kind-hearted person she is, will likely take the initiative to help someone, and the justice-driven Ireina will likely stand before the students to confront the magical beasts.’
If someone is aiming to avoid raising any destruction flags with any of the heroines, it’s best to simply follow the flow and evacuate like this. Even Alba, who had little knowledge of the story, was now taking the lead in fleeing. He might even have to stop here and help his childhood friend, Ireina, to help keep the magical beasts at bay.
However, if he were to do something like that now, causing a destruction flag to be raised is inevitable.
‘Ah, damn it! Why did I forget about such an important event… I was too caught up in meeting with Mina! Now I am already approaching a death flag…. Damn I am an idiot for god’s sake!!’
Alba, who had his ropes untied, scratched his head involuntarily.
Sheria peered worriedly at him.
“Are you okay, Alba…?”
“Ah, yeah… I’m fine.”
“You seem to be in quite a serious situation… I understand your feelings… I know you’re strong, Alba, but if anything happens, I can heal you, so don’t worry!”
Sheria clenched her fist in front of her chest trying to show her determination.
She was probably trying to reassure Alba when she saw him acting a little anxious. Even though she must be feeling anxious herself.
That made Alba somewhat happy, and as if it was a natural gesture he patted Sheria’s head.
“It’s fine, you don’t need to worry about that. I don’t think I’ll lose to magical beasts at this point after training so hard.”
Just, well…
‘If things continue like this, the students will undoubtedly be in danger… Sheria is also among them, so she might get dragged into a dangerous situation with them.
If this game progresses according to the story, both Sheria and Ireina will most likely overcome the situation safely.
However, the fact that they’ll face the danger head on remains unchanged.
‘Sigh… It can’t be helped.’
Alba stopped in the midst of the fleeing crowd.
“Alba, what are you going to do from now on…”
“Is something wrong, Al-kun?”
Stopping in his tracks caused Ireina and Sheria to tilt their heads in confusion.
Even though they’re in a situation where they should be running away early, why would he stop? As they were wondering, Alba suddenly let out a small laugh.
“Sorry, Sheria. I can’t bear it anymore.”
In an instant, Alba’s body was surrounded by a pale blue light.
“Al-kun?”
“Hey! What are you doing…!”
“The idea of you guys getting hurt, I just can’t bear it.”
Certainly, if you’re clever and thinking ahead of time, it would be best to go with the flow and evacuate.
But when it’s someone close to you in danger… naturally, you will put their safety as the first priority.
Moreover, the favorability of the capture target heroines will increase when you save them from the many magical beasts that will appear—this is the moment it’s supposed to start. If it hasn’t really started yet, it might be possible to avoid getting involved. We can also think of it in a positive way like that.
In that case, there’s only one thing to do.
“…Understood. Good luck taking care of them.”
“What the heck! Just don’t stop, hurry and—”
Ignoring the agitated Ireina who raised her voice, Sheria nodded slightly.
And then, she smiled gently and softly.
“Even if you get hurt, I’ll make sure to heal you properly.”
“Yeah, I’m counting on you.”
Ireina didn’t quite understand the situation.
However, Ireina’s questioning was completely ignored by him and… Alba disappeared from their sight in the blink of an eye.
Only silence remained and a faint blue track of light followed to the place he went to.
“He… disappeared? Could it be that…!?”
“Hehe~, Al-kun is really kind, isn’t he?”
The voices of the two could no longer reach Alba.
However, even so, Sheria continued her words.
“…Really, he’s as cool as ever.”
At that moment, Sheria’s face was slightly flushed.

In the original story, a mysterious group of magical beasts emerged from deep within the forest and immediately started attacking students upon sight.
As time passed, more and more magical beasts appeared, creating a situation even the teachers couldn’t handle.
Nevertheless, the appearance of these magical beasts is not enough to defeat the protagonist of the early stages of the game. Their individual strength isn’t that great.
“Hurry, get down! This isn’t class training anymore!”
“But why would magical beasts come here…!?”
“First and foremost is the safety of the students! They must absolutely not pass through here!”
At the forefront, several teachers stepped forward to fight.
Some were casting offensive and defensive spells, some were swinging their swords to kill them, desperately trying to hold back the magical beasts from getting behind them.
However, the numbers were against them… It was clear that it was only a matter of time before they were overwhelmed.
However, that deadlock was soon broken…
“There’s no way we’ll let you go where Sheria and the Ireina are, you fool.”
…and things changed for the better.
“What…!?”
To the teachers, it seemed like a mere flash of pale blue light passed through their vision.
The fact that this light belonged to one of their own students was something the teachers who hadn’t witnessed the duel couldn’t know.
‘If we reduce their numbers, even the teachers can stand a chance…’
Alba continued to advance, throwing punches and kicks at vital spots to kill them in an instant.
There was no need to join the teachers. By quickly defeating as many as possible, he could get ahead of everyone else.
As he was now, he was more complete as an individual than anyone else.
“I’m not good with battles that involve a lot of enemies, but…”
He didn’t need a sword or a spear.
Just swinging his fists was enough, and the power, greatly enhanced by the speed surpassing the speed of sound, would blow away their heads.
So, without letting his guard down… all he needed to do was clench his fists and attack them.
By doing so, the event could be concluded without anyone noticing.
And with that thought he continued to swing his fists for a while…
“…Huh?”
…At that moment.
Alba’s hands and feet stopped involuntarily.
It took him a bit of time to realize that this action was a failure.
Why? That was obvious…
“Hey, you’re… if I remember correctly, you’re Alba-kun, right?”
While killing the mana beasts as he went further inside the forest.
There, a boy stood, gripping a bloodied sword in his right hand.
‘Why… is the main character at this place?’
The boy standing in front of him greatly resembled the protagonist of the ero game.

Ok so here’s my review after reading till this chapter.
The translation itself is good, but the presentation is kinda confusing.
Especially the dialogue. It’s normal if you read it in Japanese, like “I” for girl and boy can be different Ore for man, watashi/atashi for woman. But when they’re translated to other languages or in this case, English, it becomes nuts.
So could you maybe put the name so we “readers” can differentiate who is talking to who etc.
Thank you
