Chapter 61:
“Ryota! Hurry up, hurry up!”
“I said don’t rush me. Oh, found it.”
I took the house key from the bottom of the bag and opened the door with it, then Miyama immediately opened the door.
“Sorry to intrude!”
“Hey, Airi. Make sure to line up your shoes properly.”
“Mmm, I was just about to do that! Geez, Yuria, you’re just like a big sister.”
That’s true… I wish Yuria could switch places with my sister.
“Ryota-kun, I’m coming in.”
“O-Okay… please.”
Kuroki looked at me and said that before taking off her leather shoes and entering the house.
Kuroki Rui in my house…
It was a situation I never imagined from our relationship in middle school.
(Well, maybe it’s because of that relationship value from middle school that Kuroki is so fixated on me, always seeking perfection…)
But when was the last time I brought girls into my house?
Maybe since the summer vacation in middle school when Tanaka and I had a ‘study session’ and watched anime in my room all day.
Back then, I was comfortable with Tanaka, so I wasn’t nervous at all… but now the situation is completely different.
After all, today the three most beautiful girls in high school are gathered in this house.
“Hey hey! Where’s Ryota’s room?”
“Oh, my room is upstairs, turn right as soon as you go up… but.”
Before going up the stairs, I stood in front of the three to stop them.
“Please. Just wait for 3 minutes. I really need to tidy up the room.”
“No. Let us in quickly!”
“That’s right! Airi wants to sit down quickly!”
“Ryota-kun? It’s okay if it’s messy, I don’t mind.”
“I mind!”
It’s not exactly a messy room, but it’s not in a state where it’s okay to let girls in.
I don’t know myself, but it might smell.
“Okay. Then, can we at least go to the front of Ryota’s room? We’ll wait there.”
“Uh, okay.”
At Yuria’s request, I moved to the second floor for now.
Bringing the three to the front of the room, I emphasized, “Wait here,” before entering the room.
There’s no time to tidy up figures and tapestries, and there’s nowhere to tidy up anyway.
They already know I’m an otaku, so instead of worrying about that…
“Alright, air freshener spray!!”
I grabbed the air freshener spray I usually use after doing various things in the room and sprayed it all over the room.
At least, please take care of the smell!
“Okay, 3 minutes! I’m coming in!”
“Hey, Miyama!”
It’s questionable if it’s really been 3 minutes, but Miyama took the lead and entered my room.
Following her, Yuria and Kuroki also entered, and all three looked around my room.
“So this is Ryota-kun’s room…”
“There are so many goods here.”
Tapestries with suggestive illustrations hung all over the walls, and figures lined up on a three-tier steel rack.
In the corner of the room, there was a large bookshelf called the ‘light novel wall,’ with five tiers filled only with light novels, creating an unmistakably otaku space.
Having my private space seen like this makes me feel embarrassed no matter what.
“Ryota’s room is amazing. Wow, there are so many hanging scrolls of girls.”
Referring to the tapestries as hanging scrolls… it’s not entirely wrong.
“Hmm. I’ve known for a while, but Ryota is a huge otaku.”
Yuria said this while giving off an ‘I’m different’ vibe.
While saying that, I can’t help but think that Yuria’s room probably isn’t much different.
Let’s just hope she doesn’t expose anything embarrassing today.
*Sniff sniff*… “Huh? It smells so much like air freshener!”
“I sprayed it just now.”
“You don’t have to worry so much.”
“No, I thought it might smell manly.”
“Eh? Airi likes Ryota’s smell though.”
“Oh, really? I don’t mind Ryota’s smell either.”
I can’t understand at all.
What does my smell even smell like?
“Hey, instead of that, want to drink the juice we bought earlier? I’m thirsty.”
Kuroki took out a 2-liter bottle of apple juice from the shopping bag.
“Oh, Ryota-kun. Can I borrow a cup?”
“Sure. I’ll go get a cup… but.”
Wait a minute. If I leave the room now, these three will be alone in the room, right…?
I don’t think they’ll snoop around, especially these three, but…
“What’s wrong, Ryota-kun?”
“Oh, um… just wait here for a moment with the cushions around and sit down.”
Leaving the three in the room, I exit the room and go downstairs to get a cup.
Is it really okay to leave only those three…?
But… regardless of how things turn out, I can’t just ask those three, who are guests, to go get it.
Well, it should be fine… right.

Chapter 62:
In the kitchen on the first floor, I took out four cups and a medium-sized plate from the cupboard, placed them on a tray, and carried them.
(I hope those three aren’t doing anything weird in the room right now…)
While my room is decorated with moe illustrations on tapestries and figures, when it comes to risky adult games, Blu-rays, boob mousepads, etc., I usually keep them under the bed when not in use.
I don’t want my mom to see them when she comes to clean during the day.
So, as long as they don’t rummage under the bed… it’s fine, no problem.
But… the reactions of Miyama and Kuroki when they saw my room were unexpected.
Yuria is fine since she’s an otaku like me, but Miyama and Kuroki are not into otaku stuff. I thought they would be totally turned off by the moe illustrations on tapestries and figures.
(Both of them didn’t seem to make disgusted faces though.)
Miyama used to dislike otaku stuff before we became friends… but she stopped showing that attitude after we started talking.
Even an introverted otaku like me could become friends with Miyama and Kuroki… is that what it means?
“…Friends, huh.”
I never thought I would have this kind of relationship with those beautiful girls… it’s hard to imagine from a little while ago.
Thinking about that vaguely, I reached the front of the room and opened the door.
“Hey, bring the cups… here?”
When I entered the room, the three were each relaxing in their own way.
Miyama had placed cushions in front of the TV and was sitting in a girly manner, Yuria was sitting in my gaming chair playing with her phone, and Kuroki was sitting on my bed glancing around the room.
“Ah, Ryota, you’re finally here.”
“Thanks for the cups, Ryota-kun.”
Although Kuroki was sitting on the bed, it seemed like she hadn’t discovered the stuff under the bed, and there didn’t seem to be any signs of anything else happening.
I breathed a sigh of relief.
“Okay, I’ll make the juice then?”
“I’ll help you, Rui.”
Kuroki took the tray from me and, along with Yuria, started opening the juice and snacks.
They seemed oddly familiar with this, but maybe they often do this kind of thing.
“Hey Ryota, this game console isn’t working at all.”
Miyama, who was playing with the controller of the home game console SP5 in front of the TV, complained to me.
“Are we going to play games now? Aren’t we supposed to do script reading?”
“Yeah, I want to play games.”
“Sigh… is this how it’s going to be?”
I picked up the power plug of the SP5 to turn on the main power of the game.
At this rate, it seems like today will just end lazily.
“Ryota, what kind of games do you usually play? Shooting games?”
“No, I don’t play FPS games because they make me dizzy. I mostly play RPGs. Lately…”
Huh? Wait… lately?
Come to think of it, when was the last time I used the SP5?
I think it was when that Blu-ray arrived… Oh no!?
Uh-oh…!! Right now, inside the SP5…!!
The Blu-ray disc of “Heart-Pounding! Former Gravure Idol Swimming Competition! Only Nip Slips!” is still inside!!!!
I can’t explain the content, but if it stays like this—
“Ah, it finally started moving!”
“Hey, wait, Miya—”
“Huh? Hey, what kind of game is this ‘Heart-Pounding! Former Gravure Idol Swimming Competition! Only Nip Slips!’? It’s a weird title.”
“What?”
The moment Miyama read the title out loud, the room’s atmosphere froze instantly.
(Oh no.)
