Chapter 24: A Yuri Couple’s Love is Complicated

Yuka and Mai, two gorgeous and popular classmates, were in a physical relationship with me, the only person aware of their secret. Even after returning from their house, I couldn’t stop thinking about it all day.

As I sat in a daze, I worried my family, including my little sister, who noticed my strange behavior. 

“Senpai… I’m ready too!”

“I understand. If you want to leave, you can go.”

“I won’t run away, Senpai. Because I love you!”

Feeling the need for a distraction, I turned to my computer and started playing a yuri eroge. 

The characters were illustrated beautifully, and their loving actions stirred a sense of excitement in me. However, I began to question whether it was appropriate for me to enjoy the game. As I reflected on my feelings, I realized that I wasn’t as invested in the game as I had initially thought.

“That’s enough for today,” I said to myself as I saved the game at the scene where the adorable and beautiful duo were intertwined, and powered off my computer.

I lay down on my bed, staring at the ceiling with no particular activity, when my phone signaled an incoming call.

“…!”

My heart skipped a beat as I saw Yuka’s name on the screen, but I took a deep breath and answered the phone with determination.

“Hello.”

“Hello, good evening Sakuya-kun.”

“…Good evening, Yuka.”

It had been a few hours since I last heard her voice. Although there was a slight difference between talking in person and over the phone, her voice still resonated in my ear, and its sweet, indescribable tone made my eardrums vibrate.

“This isn’t good,” I muttered.

“Uh?”

“I mean, just hearing Yuka’s voice over the phone makes me so nervous.”

“Well, that’s a good sign. Let me help you dive even deeper. I’ll lead you into a maze that you’ll never escape from.”

“…”

No, I feel like I’m already lost in that maze.

It’s easy to deny something with words, and even easier to deny it in my mind, but their words were so comforting. I didn’t know what to do.

We had only had a physical relationship. That was it. But it wasn’t like a casual fling. They had both expressed that they wanted more than just a physical connection. They genuinely wanted me, as a man.

“Mai’s taking a bath right now, but I talked to her too after that.”

“About what?”

Yuka seemed to sense my hesitation, and after a chuckle, she continued, 

“But, I’m going to be selfish and ask you to worry about it a lot.”

“Well, that’s how it is. We both love you, and you’re important to us. We want to be with you forever… So we want you to decide if it’s okay to be loved by both of us, or if it’s better for you to be with just one of us.”

They wanted me to choose to love both of them, which is not socially acceptable in Japan. Even with the country’s declining birth rate and aging population, dating multiple partners at the same time is considered abnormal no matter how you look at it.

“I hope you can accept it… No, it’s my wish for it to be so. Of course, Mai and I will make efforts to make you even more captivated by our charms.”

“If I learn more about their appeal, it’ll be really strange… But wow, what an amazing display of confidence,” I thought to myself, forgetting that I was in the middle of it all. However, Yuka’s confidence suddenly disappeared.

I was taken aback by her words, feeling a rush of emotions overwhelm me. Despite Yuka appearing calm and collected, her happiness about being with me was palpable.

I realized that meeting Yuka and Mai in this unconventional way had allowed me to truly know them on a deeper level. Though there was still much to learn about them, I couldn’t deny their charm and allure, making it hard not to be drawn to them.

“…Yuka.”

“…Yes?”

“I… still have a preference for yuri. That part of me hasn’t changed. That’s why I might say some things that might seem disgusting, like wanting you to do more extreme things in front of me. But even so…”

“I’ll do as many of those things as you want me to. I’ll even show you everything you want to see.”

“But even with that, Mai and I love you from the bottom of our hearts. That’s what matters most to us. So, Sakuya-kun, please take care of us from now on too.”

“Then, later.”

The call ended, leaving me staring blankly at my phone. It felt foolish to be the only one troubled while they seemed unchanged. It was almost as if I was the only one worrying about the situation.

“What do you mean ‘take care of us again’? We’ve already decided to be together,” I muttered, not at all annoyed by the prospect of their company. In fact, I found myself indulging in the thought of such a happy future, almost feeling guilty for being so lucky.
