Chapter 47: Travel Plans
It’s been a few weeks since Able Corporation was established.
At first, it wasn’t very well known, but now it’s drawing attention because it’s a company that includes prominent streamers like Kanna-san and the others.
The streamers’ activities haven’t changed much. They do occasional collaborations, post membership-exclusive streams, and offer lessons for streamers.
Once our name becomes more recognized, I plan to organize a large-scale event for Able.
This is something Yuna-chan is really excited about, so I’m leaving the main responsibility to her.
And right now, we’re thinking about what to do next…
“…A trip?”
“Yes. I was thinking it would be a good idea for everyone as a way to celebrate…”
It was Sayaka who made the suggestion.
“Well, we still have some money left, so I think it’s fine, as long as everyone is okay with it.”
“Really!? Yes! I’ll get Eiji-san’s approval~♪”
Watching Sayaka, who seemed quite pleased, made me smile.
“By the way, Kanna-san, have the three of you ever gone on a trip together before?”
“Hmmm…We were too busy just trying to survive, so we never had that luxury…”
“…But I’ve always wanted to…I’d like to go.”
“That’s right, Kanna-san! This is a great chance. Let’s all go on a trip together!”
“S-Sure…”
Kanna-san looked over at me. Maybe she’s hesitating…?
“Like I told Sayaka, I think it’s a great idea. We’ve got the money now, and traveling with everyone would be fun.”
“Is that really true…? If Eiji-san says so…”
“Yay! Thank you, Kanna-san!!”
“…A trip…I’m excited.”
Both Sayaka and Kanna looked so happy at the idea of their first trip, while Kanna still seemed a little nervous.
But I could tell they were all pleased.
“Well then, have fun. I’ll be waiting to hear all about it when you get back.”
As I was thinking about what to do while they’re away, someone suddenly grabbed my arm with surprising strength.
“Eh, Eiji-san, you’re coming too, right!?”
“Eh, me?”
“…Why wouldn’t you come in the first place?”
“Well, uh…I thought it might be weird for a guy like me to tag along…”
“It wouldn’t be the same without you! Come on, Eiji-san! Let’s go together~!”
“…Yes. Eiji is part of this family now…Not going would be strange.”
Sayaka and Rinmei both tugged on my arms, pulling me. Hey, stop, I’m getting dizzy…
“Umm, I…I also want to go with you, Eiji-san…”
And then, Kanna-san joined in, looking at me with hopeful eyes like a puppy.
“O-Okay, okay. I get it. I’ll go, so stop shaking me…”
“Really!? Thank you, Eiji-san!!”
Sayaka finally stopped shaking me and instead hugged my shoulder tightly.
“…A wise decision. As expected from Eiji.”
Rinmei, for some reason, stood on a chair and started patting me on the head.
“I wonder what kind of place we’ll go to…I’m kind of excited.”
Kanna-san smiled, looking genuinely happy.
Hmm…I guess I’ll need to handle the scheduling and make sure everything goes smoothly.
With that in mind, we started making our travel plans.

Chapter 48: At the Airport, On the Plane
A few days had passed since the four of us made our travel plans, and now that we were ready, we arrived at the airport.
“…Why are you two here?”
“Ahaha…Soji and Yuna-chan insisted on coming.”
Soji, the good-looking guy with a refreshing vibe, looked a bit uncomfortable as he glanced at the two behind him.
“To invite Kanna-san and not us, you’ve got some nerve,” said Manaka.
“That’s right, senpai. Trips like this are meant for everyone. Why were you trying to go with just four people…? That’s so lonely…” Yuna pouted and looked away, clearly upset.
…They’re both angry and sulking, huh.
“…I shouldn’t have said anything…”
“Geez! Why did you tell them, Rinmei! I was so excited about going with just the four of us…”
“Well, it’s fine. It’s our first trip, so let’s all enjoy it together.”
It seemed that Rinmei had mentioned it to them.
Sayaka must have wanted to go with just the four of us. She looked a little angry, but Kanna-san was calming her down.
Hmm…I couldn’t tell if Kanna-san was excited about the trip, but she seemed to be in a better mood than usual.
“But is this okay? We didn’t ask everyone before deciding.”
“It’s fine. I asked Rinmei in advance, so don’t worry about it.”
“We’re going to Hokkaido, right? I’ve never been there, so I’m really looking forward to it!”
“The hotel nearby is supposed to be nice. And there’s a hot spring, too.”
“…I want to try the hot spring.”
“I’m so excited! Let’s also go shopping for souvenirs! I heard there are some funny keychains, and I want to check them out!”
Everyone’s conversation kept expanding.
As I stood with Kanna-san, watching them talk, I checked the time.
“It’s about time…Shall we go, Kanna-san?”
“Yes. Fufu, my heart is racing…Let’s have fun together, Eiji-san.”
Kanna-san smiled, not her usual mature smile, but a pure, girlish one.
I nodded in response and followed everyone onto the plane.
◇
“Wow…! Senpai, look! The clouds! There are clouds below us!”
“Well, of course. We’re flying in the sky.”
Right now, we’re on the plane. Yuna-chan, looking out the window, seemed excited, probably because it was her first time flying.
Everyone else was sitting in different seats, and I ended up sitting next to Yuna-chan.
“By the way, senpai, this bento is pretty tasty, isn’t it?”
With one hand on her cheek, Yuna looked delighted as she ate the colorful bento.
“Yeah, I haven’t had it much either, but it’s pretty good.”
“Right? But don’t you think you’re eating kind of slowly? I’m almost done with mine.”
“Everyone has their own pace. You’re just eating fast, Yuna-chan.”
“…Senpai, do you even have any tact? That’s why you’ve never had a girlfriend.”
“Why am I suddenly being insulted?”
She hit me with some harsh words out of nowhere. I mean, Manaka and Soji have also said I lack tact, but still…
“Oh…I’m all done…”
Yuna-chan looked disappointed as she stared at her empty bento box.
“…Do you want some of mine?”
“Huh? Really?”
“Not all of it, but I can share a little.”
As I said that, I picked up one of the side dishes with my chopsticks and brought it toward her mouth.
“Wha—! S-Senpai…?”
“Hm? What’s wrong? Don’t you want it?”
“It’s not that, it’s just…geez!”
Yuna-chan hesitated for a moment but then finally ate the side dish. But for some reason, she seemed a little salty about it…
“…Eiji-senpai, you really are clueless, aren’t you?”
“Huh? Why are you calling me by my full name all of a sudden?”
“I don’t know!! Senpai, you idiot! Idiot!! Idiot!!!”
“Wha—…”
Why do I have to be insulted like this…?
As she turned her face away to look out the window, I couldn’t help but wonder why she was acting like that.
