No matter how many times I checked it, the four digits in front of me that indicated I was in a dire state remained unchanged.

‘Four thousand yen… seriously?? Even though we’re only halfway through the month? How am I supposed to make it alive with this?’

No matter how many times I refreshed the page which showed the bank balance on my smartphone, it didn’t change.

I, Takekiyo Yoshihisa, a student at our prefecture’s only private high-school, lowered my head with a troubled expression.

‘Sigh… I know he said he was going to cut back on the allowance, but… only four thousand yen? Did Dad get fired again?’

My father had always been unlucky, and as a result, I grew up in a poor family. However, I was attending an expensive private school because of my excellent academic performance. I was admitted as a scholarship student for my good grades, and my tuition was waived, as was my dormitory rent. However, I wasn’t provided with money for food and utilities.

‘Ugh… maybe I should get another part-time job. But then again, I have to be careful not to overdo it.’

I also had a part-time job, but as a growing high school student, most of my money went to food, leaving me with no room to afford any luxurious things.

‘I shouldn’t have bought a whole new set of underwear just because of a hole. I should have kept wearing it until the hole got too big to make me uncomfortable. Honestly, I was relying on the allowance a little too much this time… If only I knew this would happen as soon as I slacked off a little.’

After school, I was studying in the classroom alone to maintain my grades, but because of the sudden shock I had to calculate this month’s food expenses immediately.

‘My phone bill has already been paid, so all I have to worry about is food expenses. Sixteen days left… I need to set the budget so that I only spend about 200 Yen a day… Wait, only 200 yen?!’

I can manage by drinking tap water and bean sprouts are a must. I can also target meat and fish that are being sold off half-priced at the grocery store. The grocery store where I worked was near our high-school, and the payday was at the end of the month. That means I had to somehow make it through.

“Well, I’ll ask the manager if he can lend me some money in advance. Worst case scenario, I’ll have to go directly to one of the teachers.”

I had an even worse option in my hands, but I didn’t want to use it anyhow. Using a consumer finance company was even worse than the worst option, and it was a despicable act that made one’s character questionable.

“Well, let’s call it off for today. The sun is already setting.”

As the evening sun tinted the classroom in an orange-reddish shade, I quickly prepared to leave and started walking towards the hallway.

“Huh!?”

At that moment, I instinctively stepped back.

It was because I saw a familiar person at the end of the hallway, who was none other than Hatsuyuki Ichijoji. She was so famous in our high-school that she was called a saint.

‘This is bad… Really bad. Let’s hurry and look for a good spot to hide or else I’ll be alone with her.’

I frantically looked around the classroom and hurriedly entered the locker which was used to store cleaning equipment.

I held my breath to conceal my presence and to not let her find me. 

“Are you there… Yoshihisa-kun?!”

Soon, she entered the classroom and her eyes wandered in the classroom looking for a certain figure.

She stood there with elegance and a charming smile on her otherworldly alluring face.

‘Even after seeing her every day, I never get tired of looking at her. She is just too irresistible.’

“That’s strange. I thought you were still in the classroom. And today isn’t even your part-time job… Was it just my imagination that I felt that you were here earlier?” 

As she stood at the doorway, I couldn’t help but stare in awe. Her waist-length silver hair cascaded down her back, almost glowing in the light. Her piercing blue eyes seemed to hold the secrets of the universe, drawing me in with their intensity. She had a perfectly symmetrical face with a small nose and plump lips that curled into a gentle smile. Her body was nothing short of perfection — long, toned legs that seemed to go on forever, a flat stomach that curved into womanly hips, and her b*****s that were too big to fit in my hands. It was as if she had been carved out of marble by the greatest artist in the world. And yet, despite her flawless appearance, there was a softness to her that made me feel like I was looking at an angel.

‘Wait… it’s not the time to get mesmerized by her appearance…. if I keep looking at her, she’ll notice my presence!!’

“This loving yet perverted gaze is of none other than Yoshihisa-kun!… Fufu~ You’re here, hiding somewhere, right?” 

‘How was she able to notice me right away?!’

I inwardly panicked. Though I didn’t dislike her or anything. On the contrary, I could even say I loved her. But there was a reason why I couldn’t face her directly now. I had a reason to hesitate even to initiate a conversation with her. 

“Where are you, Yoshihisa-kun? What a coward of you to hide from me like that?? Yes, it’s an appropriate action for someone who threatened me and then violated my body and soul.” 

‘If that’s what you think, go ahead and report me. I’ve been waiting for that day when you report me and the police will come to arrest me or the day I’m expelled from the school by force!’

Yes, Takekiyo Yoshihisa is a criminal who is ashamed to be seen anywhere. I had been accumulating her feelings and distorting them, secretly stalking and taking pictures of her. I was holding her weakness and exploiting her so that I could use her father, who is a member of the school’s board of directors as a means to blackmail him. 

Though all of that is in short… an absolute truth!

“Are you still trying to run away?”

The sound of footsteps echoed in the empty classroom as she started walking in my direction. 

“For the last six months, whether I was at school or at home, during the day or at night, you embraced me without any contraception, never allowing me to reach climax until you forced me to say words of love…”

“Are you such a despicable, wicked, and brutish person like this, trying to escape from me without paying for your sins?”

The door to the locker opened, and half of her face appeared in my vision, her blue eyes staring straight into mine. 

“Eek?!” 

“I finally found you, Yoshihisa-kun… Today, I expect a favorable answer from you… Fufu~” 

“Aaaah!?”

I was forcefully pulled out of the locker by her, I stumbled and fell straight on my butt. She squatted down and grabbed my face with both of her hands.

“Haha, caught you, Yoshihisa-kun. My own despicable prince… Nom-Nom.”

“What? Ow, it hurts. As usual, you bite without hesitation.”

“Well, who taught me that?”

“No, it’s your nature. While it’s true I did something unforgivable to you, I didn’t teach you that.”

“…………”

“…………”

“What’s with that look?”

“Seriously, you didn’t notice? It’s true that I was the one who left the hickey on Hatsuyuki-san in the beginning, but somehow, you’ve become someone who bites me at every opportunity, right?”

Hatsuyuki blinked in confusion, and her skin, as white as snow, turned red in an instant.

And I  didn’t miss that opening.

“Gotcha.”

“Ah, no way! Wait, don’t run away, Yoshihisa-kun, I have something to tell you!”

“You’re going to ask me to take responsibility and marry you again, right? I’ve told you many times, but I’m a coward, so I won’t turn myself in to the police. I’ve given you all the evidence of the blackmail, so go ahead and report me if you want.”

“I’m the victim here, and I’m asking you to stay by my side! Why won’t you stay with me? You’ve made my body a complete mess… I can’t even reach climax alone!”

I tried to calmly and gently reply to Hatsuyuki’s angry tone.

“Because you have a pure heart, Hatsuyuki. Someone like me, a cowardly and despicable person, will only taint your existence — Takekiyo Yoshihisa is the person least suitable to be by your side in the world.”

In response, she glared at me for saying such cruel words.

‘I’m sick of saying the same excuse again and again!’

It was infuriating. I always said the same words and always avoided her heavy love for me.

She had been foolishly bound to me and had mistaken me for a prince, but I rejected her harshly.

“Is that okay with you? Running away again?”

“Yeah, because I’m a coward.”

I looked at her as though I had already made my decision. She knew from experience that when I became like this, there was no point in trying to convince me.

However, she was surprisingly different from yesterday. She had finished saying everything and was standing in front of me unfazed.

She wouldn’t let me escape again.

Suppressing her anger, Hatsuyuki narrowed her eyes and confronted me with all her might.

“Even if it means that your father loses his job?”

“What?! Hatsuyuki-san!? You can’t be serious…”

“Yeah, the Ichijoji are a prestigious family. Did you perhaps underestimate our reach and connections, Yoshihisa-kun? Now will you come with me or not?”

I had no choice but to nod at her words as she grinned ear to ear if she had finally had my weakness in her hands.
