There was a weird app called ‘Hypnosis App’ on my smartphone. I didn’t think I’d ever install this kind of app, but since the app was on my smartphone, I must have installed it… But when did I install something like this? What a mystery. 

Anyway, I decided to try launching the app first. Then, I was guided through the explanation screen. It seemed this was an app that allowed you to hypnotize other people and make them do your bidding. 

Ugh… What a suspicious app..

In addition to how to use it, there was also an example of its usage. 

I see… So you can find out someone’s true desire without them knowing… No, wait? Isn’t this a crime? Is this even legal? I mean, sure the one using it won’t be at the disadvantage but what about the one being subjected to hypnosis? I can’t imagine how horrible it must’ve feel like… 

That being said, an app that allows someone to peer into your mind without you knowing… Just the thought of it happening to me was enough to send chills down my spine…

I couldn’t possibly be that selfish! And what if he found out? What if by any chance he somehow found out I had done something so terrible to him? He would surely be disappointed in me! He might start hating me! Besides, hypnosis? How suspicious! There was no way such a convenient app could actually work! This app must be a scam! A prank app made for fun! There was no way this app could hypnotize someone for real! This must be a fake app!!

…. B-But… Si-Since it’s a fake app anyway… Ma-Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to try it…? I mean… It’s a fake app… A joke app that won’t work anyway… So maybe I can use this app as a topic starter to talk with him… 

And so, I ended up using the ‘Hypnosis App’ on him without knowing the hypnosis actually worked. 

No, that wasn’t true. I actually used the app while hoping the hypnosis app might actually work.
