“Alright, Sakkun! Now that we’ve eaten, let’s get in the bath together! It’s time to clean our bodies!”

“Oh. Sorry, Seika-chan. I need to go to my part-time job…”

Yesterday was my day off from my part-time job, but I had a shift today. In fact, I actually invited  Seika-chan over precisely because yesterday was my day off. To be fair, it felt a bit weird to skip school but still go to my part-time job. Well, but we had to skip school today to do plenty of… Lewd and obscene things-… No! I mean, to do plenty of various things! Anyway, the point was… While skipping school wouldn’t affect my financial situation, skipping work would reduce my pay and inconvenience the other workers at my workplace. Well, to be fair, skipping school meant I was not making great use of the tuition fees and other costs, but… Let’s just ignore that part for now. Taking a bath with Mama was an incredibly appealing plan, but it couldn’t he helped. I had to go to my part-time job. Truly, this choice really left me brokenhearted.

“I understand. Mama will come along with you then.”

“Why!? How did you even come to that conclusion?!”

“I believe it’s my duty as a Mama to watch over Sakkun while he works. So I will come along with you. I’ll be there to support you. I won’t get in your way, Sakkun.”

“Yeah. I really wish you wouldn’t come along though!”

“Also, I’d like to take some photos of you working as a memento. I’ll take lots of pictures and make a memory album just for Sakkun!”

“What…? That’s so embarrassing… Please… Please don’t do that…”

Having my Mama (classmate) coming to my part-time job was so embarrassing… I really wanted to stop her, but Seika-chan seemed determined to come along. In fact, she was already getting ready to go out now. 

Wha-What should I do…?

“Se-Seika-chan, are you really going to come along with me?”

“Yes! I want to be with Sakkun all the time!”

“Ugh…”

Stop saying that with a beaming smile on your face… Her sentiment was really appreciated, but her face made it impossible for me to say something like,”Don’t come! Stop following me around, you old hag!”

“Seika-chan, me too. I also want to be with you all the time, but… I think it might be better for you to head home for now.”

“Go home? Where to? Mama’s home is where Sakkun is, you know?”

“O-Oh…Ri-Right…”

Could it be… Seika-chan planned on staying at my place forever? I mean, I really didn’t mind it but… Two highschool students living together? Would everything be okay…? Ma-Maybe it would be okay…?

“Umm… I’m really happy with your sentiment, but.. Is it okay? I mean, there are various things we need to consider here..”

“It’s fine! Besides, we have the hypnosis app! We can smooth everything over with that app!”

She wasn’t wrong, but…

“We-Well! In that case, don’t you have many things to prepare? Like getting your spare clothes and other stuff you need?”

“You’re right…! Sakkun! You’re a genius! How perceptive! Good job! I will pat you now! Good boy~ Good boy~”

“Ehehehe~”

Ahhh…. Being petted by Mama feels so good.. No! Get a grip, myself!

“So… Seika-chan, how about you go and get your stuff while I go to my part-time job?”

“Hmm… That sounds like a good idea, but… Sakkun’s photos…”

“Be-Besides! I’ve been living on my own until now! I would be happy to have someone welcome me home when I come back from work….! I think….”

“Sakkun…!! I see… Understood! Mama will wait here so Mama can welcome Sakkun home then!”

Seika-chan declared while clenching her fist tightly. Alright. It seemed I managed to avoid having Mama accompany me to my part-time job. Anyway, now that we had come to an agreement, the two of us left the house together. I was heading to my part-time job while Seika-chan was going to her house to grab some clothes among many other things. 

“Well then, Sakkun! Please give me a spare key!”

“Oh, right. You won’t be able to get in the house without it. Here you go. This is the spare key.”

“Thank you very much!”

I handed Seika-chan the spare key without any second thought.

Thinking back, I realized our situation was becoming a bit… Preposterous. I just gave my classmate, the renowned Saint-sama, a spare key to my house. And now, Saint-sam awas planning to stay at my place for the foreseeable future… Could this be considered as a cohabitation? Yeah. It definitely felt like one. I was starting to think that things were turning into a big trouble. Sure, we could smooth things over with the hypnosis app, but for two high school students to live together under the same roof… Of course, something was bound to happen between us. No, technically speaking, something already happened.

This was my first time living with someone. After all, the time period when I still lived with my father didn’t actually feel like I was living with someone else. I was always alone. He almost never came home, so… Could I really handle this? I was starting to feel anxious. 

But…

“Mmh~ Mmh~”

Seika-chan was smiling brightly next to me while humming a happy tune. The mere thought of living together with someone like her was enough to make me feel excited. The excitement was starting to outweigh the anxiety bubbling inside. Sure, we would be facing a lot of challenges ahead and sure, I would definitely make a mistake, but… I couldn’t help but to think that despite all the challenges, fun and happy days were waiting for us.
