Chapter 13: The Saint Is Oblivious to Her Surroundings

“Oi! You! Just what’s your relationship with Saint-sama?!”

Haaah… Having lunch with Satsuki-kun. This must be the true definition of happiness. 

“Huh? I-I mean, she’s my classmate. That’s all.”

Thinking about it now, I had wasted so many times and opportunities hesitating for so long. I should have invited Satsuki-kun for lunch much sooner. 

“Then why are you sitting so close together with Saint-sama?!”

I really had to thank the hypnosis app. This was all thanks to the hypnosis app and the suggestion I planted in myself.

“As if! There’s no way you can sit that close together with Saint-sama if you’re just her classmate! I’m so jealoussss!! You lucky jerk!!”

Right now, I could do whatever I wanted without hesitating. 

“No, I mena, this is… Umm…”

I wanted to eat lunch together with Satsuki-kun, so I invited him. Then we ate lunch together. I moved my seat closer to him so we could be as close as possible. Our shoulders were touching and just this little gesture was enough to make me on cloud nine.

“And I saw it, you bastard! You actually had the nerve to… To receive “here, ahhhn” from Saint-sama!!!”

I even gave Satsuki-kun a “here, ahhhn” and had it done to me in return. I was really happy feeding him and being fed by him was really fun too. 

“And then you made Saint-sama take a “here, ahhhn” from you! I can’t believe it! Just die, you scumbag!!”

And then, I couldn’t resist. I ended up licking the fork that Satsuki-kun had used. I was well aware it was unbecoming of me to do something like that in public, I just couldn’t stop myself. I wouldn’t dare to do something like that under normal circumstances, but the effect of the suggestion made me act on my thoughts immediately without any hesitation.

“Damn it! Damn it!! How could you do that to our Saint-sama?! Oi! You guys! We better not leave this bastard to return home alive!”

Even though it was just a fork, but it somehow tasted incredibly delicious to me. Satsuki-kun also used the same chopstick he had used to feed me. My used chopstick went into Satsuki-kun’s mouth. He used it to eat his oyakodon. Ah, the mere fact of Satsuki-kun using something I had in my mouth was enough to make me so incredibly happy. 

“Don’t let this guy get close to Saint-sama ever again!!”

At this rate, I would be able to have lunch together with Satsuki-kun every day!

“Get him!”

“Ah! Satsuki-kun! You’ve got a grain of rice on your cheek! Let me get it for you… Nom! Hehe~ I took it with my mouth! Oh, that’s basically a kiss on the cheek, isn’t it? Teehee!”

“Gahhh!!!”

Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud!

“Tha-Thank you, Seika-chan… You saved me.”

“Yes! You’re welcome! But still, who would’ve thought Satsuki-kun actually has a playful side to you, getting rice stuck on your cheek like that! So adorable!”

“O-Oh…? You think so!”

“Ah…! Satsuki-kun, does my cheek look dirty to you too?”

I asked while smearing leftover rice on my cheek. 

“It is. I mean, you just made it dirty yourself, didn’t you?”

“I can’t really tell. There’s no mirror around after all. Satsuki-kun, can you please clean my cheek for me?”

“I knew it! I knew you were going to ask me that! Hahh… Okay. Fine. I will clean it—”

Satsuki-kun was about to use his hands to pick the rice, but I quickly grabbed both of his hands tightly. 

“….Seika-chan? Why are you holding both of my hands so tightly like this? I mean, this is really tight. You’re really strong…”

“Sorry, Satsuki-kun! My dirty cheek is blocking my view! I can’t see properly! I’m afraid I’m going to fall, so please keep holding onto my hands while you clean my cheek!”

“Seika-chan! I really don’t understand what you’re talking about anymore?!?!”

“Come on! Hurry, hurry! Satsuki-kun, give my cheek a big kiss! A big, wet one!”

“You don’t bother keeping up the pretense anymore now?! Wait, hold on. Seika-chan, do you really want me to kiss your cheek?! Is that why?!”

“Satsuki-kun, let me ask you this instead. Do… Do you not want to kiss my cheek? Yo-You don’t…? I-I’m so shocked.. I-I think I’m going to start crying… Ugh… Hic…!”

“Using tears is a foul play!! Ugh… I mean, it’s not that I don’t want to. If I have to say then… I do. I do want to kiss your cheek, Seika-chan!”

“Yaaay! Then go ahead! Go ahead and kiss me!”

“Ugh…! Darn it! Whatever happens, happens! I don’t know anymore!!”

Then, I could feel a soft, squishy sensation on my cheek. Followed by a wet, slipper sensation. Aaah! Satsuki-kun kissed my cheek!

“Alright… You’re all clean now…”

“Thank you so much!”

Satsuki-kun quickly turned his head away from me. His face was bright red. The expression on his face…  It was so incredibly cute! What… What was this feeling welling up inside me? I felt… I felt all tingly inside!

“Seika-chan, are you satisfied now?”

“Yes! I’m completely satisfied!”

“That’s good to hear… So, shall we head back to the classroom?”

“Yes, let’s go back!”

Satsuki-kun headed toward the return counter to place his empty tray. I packed up my bento and followed after him. For some reason, there were some male students lying on the floor. We were in the early spring, so the weather was relatively warm. However, wouldn’t they catch a cold if they slept in a place like this? Ah. I would love to take care of Satsuki-kun if he caught a cold. I wanted to nurse him day and night. I wanted to stay by his side all day long. 

After Satsuki-kun returned his empty tray, I quickly seized this opportunity and gently wrapped myself around his arm. 

“Uh, um… Seika-chan…?”

“Shall we head back to the classroom, Satsuki-kun?”

I hugged Satsuki-kun’s whole arm tightly, deliberately pressing my chest against him in the process. My chest squished. The shape changed to welcome Satsuki-kun’s arm. 

“Se-Seika-san..? U-Umm… Yo-Your chest…”

“Am I being a bother?”

“N-no! Not at all! It’s not a bother, I mean, I actually don’t mind… But that’s not the problem here!”

“In that case, it’s fine!”

Just like that, I slipped my hand to link arms with Satsuki-kun and we left the cafeteria to head back to our classroom. Come to think of it, the cafeteria seemed unusually noisy today. Maybe something happened? Well, not like it had anything to do with me!
