Chapter 10: Satsuki-kun Wants to Understand

“Ah! No! Give Mama’s smartphone back!”

Satsuki-kun held her smartphone high above to keep it out of reach while Seika-chan bounced up and down, trying to get her smartphone back. Every time Seika-chan bounced, her large chest also swayed and jiggled. Of course, Satsuki-kun’s eyes naturally followed the movement driven by the force of physics right in front of him.

“…”

“Mama needs the hypnosis app! Sakkun! Please! Don’t be mean to Mama!”

“…”

“…? Sakkun? Are you listening to Mama?”

“….Huh? What? Something about boobs?”

“We’re not talking about boobs, though?”

“Oh, uh, sorry, sorry. That was just me thinking aloud.”

I shook my head vigorously, trying to dispel the impure thoughts away. The vertical bounce of her boobs was nice to see, but I couldn’t help wondering what would happen if those boobs were shaken side to side. No. No good. The impure thoughts wouldn’t leave. 

“A-Anyway… Seika-chan? I think we need to sit down and have a serious talk for a bit…”

“I understand. Maybe it’s better if we both take the day off from school?”

“Yeah. I guess so…”

It couldn’t be helped. I doubt the discussion would be brief. We needed to take our time talking. However, a part of me was worried what everyone would think if we both suddenly took a day off without any notice beforehand. Well, there was no point in worrying about that. Anyway, the two of us decided to sit down to talk things over. 

“First, let’s talk about the cause of this whole mess. The hypnosis app. Seika-chan, just what is that thing…?”

“It’s a hypnosis app. You can manipulate other people to do your biddings with that app.”

“Uwah… That sounds straight out of erotic manga… So? This app is real? It can really hypnotize people?”

“Yes. I’ve used it a few times. It is real. It can really hypnotize people.”

“Seriously…? What a dangerous app… So, Seika-chan… You used this app on me?”

“Yes. I did…”

“Alright. We’re getting somewhere now. Seika-chan, I can’t really remember what happened. Can you please tell me what exactly did you do to me with this hypnosis app?”

“Umm… Well… That’s…”

Seika-chan seemed reluctant to speak. 

Huh? What? Is it something that you can’t tell me about? Seika-chan…? Just what did you do to me…

I wanted to know more, but Seika-chan kept her mouth shut and refused to budge. What should I do… Ah. Maybe I could use the hypnosis app on Seika-chan to make her confess? But I wasn’t sure if it was ethical to use this dubious app. I would be forcing her to speak and although I didn’t want to force her, but I really wanted to know what she had done to me without my knowing. Being in the dark like this felt so unsettling. 

Maybe it would be alright if I just use the hypnosis app to make her talk? I wouldn’t be making her do anything strange anyway. Maybe it would be okay for me to use this app for a bit? Besides, I could see if the hypnosis app was the real deal or not too. Alright. I should give it a try and use the hypnosis app on Seika-chan. Just for a little bit. I wouldn’t do anything more than that.

And so, I used the hypnosis app on Seika-chan. 

“The first time I used it… I wasn’t thinking much. I just used it on a whim. I actually have a crush on you, Satsuki-kun. I was curious about what you think of me. So I used the hypnosis app in secret to find out what you think of me. Just that. I didn’t have any intention to make you do anything strange. Then, I learned that you only see me as a mere classmate, nothing more, nothing less.”

“I see.”

I was surprised to know that Seika-chan actually had feelings for me. I had no idea why she would like me, but since she said this under the effect of the hypnosis app, then this must be true. She really liked me. 

“I thought your answer was justified since we didn’t have much interaction before this. However, hearing the truth from your mouth shook me more than I expected. My mind became a mess. I didn’t know what I wanted anymore. My brain became muddy. I was troubled. I didn’t know what I should do next. I even thought about using the hypnosis app to make you like me… But of course, I abandoned that idea. Even though I wasn’t in the right state of mind, I still knew forcing you to like me with the hypnosis app wouldn’t be the right thing to do.”

I guess Seika-chan felt like she was rejected. Hence why she was troubled by it. I guess it was akin to digging her own grave or something. 

“So after a lot of thinking, I decided to use the hypnosis app on myself.”

“Just how did you come to that conclusion…”

“Well, it was because I couldn’t understand my own feelings. I didn’t know what I wanted to do , so I used the hypnosis app to make myself more honest. I specifically gave myself the suggestion to be more honest and just do what I truly want to do. I thought by doing so, I would finally come to understand what I really wanted and what I wanted to do.”

“I see.”

“And then, I realized. I really wanted to become closer to Satsuki-kun. I wanted Satsuki-kun to like me back. And so, I started trying to make you notice me more. I wanted to make myself look good in front of you.”

Everything made sense now. I did feel Seika-chan had been bothering me recently. She was a bit persistent in her approach. So this was the reason why.
