The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 8-9
Chapter 8
♡
“Alright, let’s do this.”
“Still though, bribing the teacher? Yuzuki, you’re really going for it, huh.”
“Don’t make it sound so shady. I just asked Sensei for a tiny bit of help, that’s all.”
“Well, either way, you ended up in the same club as him. Operation start, right?”
“Yup. I’m gonna go back to the clubroom pretending to be Mizuki. Then we see if he notices or not.”
“And if he does notice?”
“Well… keeping up the lie forever would feel kinda bad anyway, so if I get caught I’ll just spill it casually.”
After finishing the quick huddle with Mizuki on the stair landing,
I let my hair down.
Mizuki combed it nice and neat for me, I checked myself on my phone,
and yeah—staring back was 100% Mizuki’s appearance… but it was me.
I almost couldn’t believe it was really myself.
“Okay, I’m heading back.”
On the way to the clubroom, my heart was half excited, half nervous.
Would he really be able to tell me and Mizuki apart without mixing us up?
Would he actually see each of us properly?
To find out, I went back to the clubroom looking exactly like Mizuki.
♡
“Welcome back, Yuzuki-sa… huh? Mizuki-san?”
The second he saw me coming in, he called me Mizuki first.
So with my hair down, I really just looked like my sister to him, huh.
What a total letdown. I was feeling kinda bummed and about to switch into full Mizuki mode when—
“Mm… nah, wait. This is Yuzuki-san, right?”
“…Huh?”
“Uh, yeah? It’s you, isn’t it?”
Watching him get all confused, I thought for a second.
He really could see me as Aoyama Yuzuki, clear as day.
…Then there was no point keeping up the act anymore.
“Ahaha, busted? I was just messing with you a little.”
“Well, we’re classmates and we literally just met earlier, so I can at least tell that much.”
“…Hey. What’s different between me and Mizuki?”
Ever since we were born, even our parents mixed us up all the time. We basically looked the same.
All those guys who swarmed saying they liked us? None of them could ever tell us apart.
So why…
was he able to spot it so easily?
“Hmm… you guys do look super alike, but the vibe’s totally different? Yuzuki-san’s, like, full of energy and bright. Mizuki-san I haven’t talked to much, but she’s got this kinda elegant thing going… ah, wait, I don’t mean you’re not elegant or anything like that!”
“…Pfft, ahahaha!”
“Eh? Did I say something weird?”
“Haha, sorry sorry. You don’t have to freak out that much. It’s true Mizuki’s more elegant than me anyway.”
I couldn’t help laughing—Tendou-kun’s breakdown was spot on.
We’d only just met, but he already got the real difference between me and Mizuki.
He actually understood.
Just knowing someone like that existed made me really happy.
“You’re seriously funny, Tendou-kun.”
“Funny, huh?”
“Yeah, super. Actually… we switch places sometimes.”
“Eh, for real?”
“You said ‘for real’ like you already suspected. Well, it’s not for any big reason—just for fun mostly.”
“Hmm. Most people never notice, right?”
“Nobody ever does. Never got caught either. So… if you figure it out again, just whisper to me quietly, okay?”
I was in such a good mood I ended up spilling our little secret between me and Mizuki without even thinking twice.
And it felt like the heavy, cloudy feeling I’d been carrying in my chest finally started to clear up a bit.
Tendou-kun was really looking at me—from the inside.
Me too.
I suddenly wanted to know way more about him.

Chapter 9
♤
“Switching places, huh.”
After chatting a bit with Yuzuki-san in the clubroom, she said she had plans with Mizuki-san and left first.
Then I stayed alone for a while reading before heading out of school.
When I got home, I thought back on the conversation with Yuzuki-san.
“Do people really not notice that much? Yeah, they look alike, but…”
To me, the two of them are completely different people.
Sure, their faces, voices, and heights are the same, but their expressions, the pitch of their voices, even the way they hold themselves is different.
Probably their personalities too, I think.
“Asuka, Asuka, you in there?”
“Ah, Grandma? What’s up?”
“You’ve got a visitor.”
“A visitor?”
I tilted my head, no idea who it could be, and followed Grandma’s call out to the entrance.
And then…
“…Huh?”
Standing at the door, I thought it was Yuzuki-san from after school at first.
“…Mizuki-san?”
“Eh—wow! How’d you know?”
She touched her ponytail and her eyes went wide in surprise. Yup, definitely Mizuki-san.
“Uh, I dunno, just kinda felt it. The vibe’s different from earlier.”
“Vibe, huh. Well, you’re right. It’s me, Mizuki. Sorry for dropping by outta nowhere.”
“N-no, it’s totally fine. Did something happen?”
If it was Yuzuki-san I could get it, but Mizuki-san—who I barely even talked to—what could she possibly want with me?
While I was tilting my head, she pulled her phone out of her pocket.
“You do LINE, right?”
“Y-yeah, I do.”
“Then let’s exchange contacts.”
“M-me?”
“Who else? Come on, pull up your QR code.”
I did what she said, fumbling a bit since I’m not super used to it, and opened LINE to show the code. Mizuki-san scanned it quickly and sent me a message right away.
‘This is Mizuki. Nice to meet you properly.’
“Nice to meet you, Tendou-kun.”
With that, she headed off almost immediately.
Grandma came over with the tea she’d prepared for the guest and went, “Oh, she already left?”
Looking a little bummed, Grandma picked up a few snacks from the tray. I quietly went back to my room.
♡
“I’m home—”
“Welcome back, Mizuki. Where’d you go?”
“Oh, just some errands.”
“That’s kinda suspicious… don’t tell me you went to Tendou-kun’s place.”
“Busted. Twins really do have that sympathy thing going, huh?”
Mizuki laughed it off like she was playing dumb, then happily showed me her phone.
“Swapped contacts with him.”
“For real? You went all the way to his house?”
“Just talked at the front door. Wait—you guys still haven’t exchanged contacts?”
“O-of course not! And you’re the one who always says guys are all trash… don’t tell me you actually like Tendou-kun?”
“It’s not like that. But now we know he can tell us apart instantly without any hints. Isn’t it kinda rude to lump him in with all the other guys we hate?”
“Well… yeah, that’s true.”
What Mizuki said made sense.
The whole reason we started feeling disgust and distrust toward guys was because nobody could ever tell us apart.
So putting that same negative feeling onto Tendou-kun, who actually can, would be unfair.
I get it.
I get it, but…
“…I’m still only half-convinced, I guess.”
“What’s that supposed to mean? Are you saying what happened today was just a fluke?”
“No, not that. I get that he can tell us apart, but that doesn’t automatically mean he’s a good guy or anything.”
“Ohhh. Back then, you were the one who got hurt worse than me, huh.”
That day.
The day that senior Mizuki was interested in mixing us up—yeah, Mizuki was shocked too, but…
For some reason, it hit me harder than it hit her.
Like nobody really looks at us properly.
Ever since we were little, everything we did got treated the same, and people only ever saw us as “one of the twins.”
I could never find my own identity anywhere.
All that built-up frustration exploded that day.
And ever since, I’ve been scared to trust anybody.
Even now.
I do wanna get to know Tendou-kun more, but I can’t just open up and accept everything right away.
“You really are strong in that way, Mizuki.”
“I’m pretty straightforward like that. Anyway, just do things your way, Yuzuki.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“Well, at least starting tomorrow we’ve got something to look forward to. I’m heading back to my room.”
Mizuki fiddled with her phone and headed off to her room quickly.
Watching her go, I felt all unsettled again.
Maybe she’s LINE-ing with Tendou-kun right now.
Maybe they’re getting closer behind my back without me knowing.
“…How stupid can I get?”
I got annoyed at myself for even thinking that.
I took a few big deep breaths, then quietly went back to my own room.
