The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 70-71
Chapter 70
“Ah, uh, sorry. I kinda spaced out and totally forgot.”
“Come on, get it together already. Mizuki and I were waiting forever in there.”
“S-sorry, I said sorry.”
“Whatever. Come on, let’s head to the clubroom. Today you’re both supposed to hand over your novel progress, and I’m taking it to the teacher.”
“R-really? Um… Mizuki-san’s there too, right?”
“What’re you even saying? Obviously. Even if you told her not to come, she’d show up anyway.”
“Y-yeah, true. Okay, let’s go.”
Honestly… facing Mizuki-san right now felt super awkward.
I still didn’t know if that “I wanna make lunch for you every day” thing was literally just that, or if it meant way more—and I’d just dodged it with some half-assed reply and bolted. So yeah, obviously it was weird.
But I didn’t have any excuse to run away, and we still had to do stuff for the clubroom’s survival anyway.
I kept telling myself to stay chill inside my head while I followed Yuzuki-san to the clubroom.
“I’m back— Mizuki, Tendou-kun’s here too.”
I snuck in quietly behind Yuzuki-san after she burst through the door.
“Tendou-kun.”
Mizuki-san called my name in a voice that sounded a little lower than usual.
“Y-yeah?”
“Hey, drop the polite talk.”
“Uh, um… what’s up?”
“Why’re you acting so distant? You worried about all the rumors going around?”
I knew exactly what rumors Mizuki-san was talking about the second she said it.
And it looked like Yuzuki-san knew too.
“Rumors are just rumors. But you better watch yourself too, Tendou-kun. If people think you’re doing weird stuff in the clubroom, that’ll just give them an excuse to kick us out.”
“I-I know. I already told Nakanishi and them it’s a misunderstanding anyway.”
I said it kinda defensively to Yuzuki-san, who was looking all grumpy, and she went, “Fine then.”
But then Mizuki-san cut in with a pouty, “What? You don’t have to deny it that hard, y’know.”
“Ah, no, I didn’t mean it like—”
“Then what did you mean? Getting rumored with me bothers you that much?”
“W-well…”
Mizuki-san narrowed her big eyes a little and leaned in closer, and just like that, the lunch break stuff came flooding back.
Maybe… Mizuki-san really does like me.
Once that thought hit, my heart started pounding like crazy just looking at her face—even though I’d seen it a million times and it was still perfectly pretty.
“Okay, that’s enough. Mizuki, stop cornering Tendou-kun.”
Yuzuki-san clapped her hands—pan!—and it snapped me back to reality before I could zone out completely.
“Aww, we were just getting to the good part. Hehe, Tendou-kun—you thought I was mad at you?”
“N-no, nothing like that.”
“But since everyone’s talking anyway, let’s keep things low-key until the rumors die down, okay?”
“Like… what?”
“If people see you hanging out with some other girl, they’re gonna think I got my boyfriend stolen by her. I’m not dealing with that kinda lame rumor.”
Right away Yuzuki-san went, “And what about me?”
“I’d love to say you’re no exception, but… you’re my little sister, so you’re probably fine? Almost nobody can even tell us apart anyway.”
“Oh. Then I guess I’ll just keep doing whatever like normal. Alright, enough chit-chat—can I get the novel drafts you two are working on? I’m taking them to the teacher.”
“Oh right, yeah. Hang on a sec.”
Mizuki-san messed around on the computer, plugged in a USB, and stared at the screen for a bit.
After a minute she muttered, “There we go,” pulled the USB out, and handed it to Yuzuki-san.
“Stick this in the staff room printer and it’ll spit out paper copies. But since it’s kinda long, maybe just plug it into the teacher’s computer and let him read it there.”
“Hmm, got it. I’ll head over then. Mizuki—actually do club stuff, okay? Got me?”
Yuzuki-san gave Mizuki-san a hard stare like she was driving the point home, then left the clubroom.
“…Something happen?”
“Nah. She’s always been like that—super nosy and bossy.”
“Huh. I always thought you were the more put-together one since you’re the older sister.”
“I’m actually kinda spoiled, y’know. Anyway… guess I’ll behave today like Yuzuki said and just write quietly.”
Mizuki-san dropped her eyes to the computer screen and stared at it without saying anything else.
I was a little nervous being alone with her—worried she’d bring up the lunch thing again—but she didn’t act like that at all.
Maybe I really was overthinking it. I pulled out my phone and started writing the next part of the novel.

Chapter 71
♤
“I’m back—”
About an hour later, Yuzuki-san came back to the clubroom.
“Welcome back. How’d it go?”
When I asked, Yuzuki-san’s face went kinda dark for a second.
“…Well.”
“Wait, it didn’t go well?”
Mizuki-san leaned forward right away too.
Then—
“…Just kidding! It went perfect. Inoue-sensei said for now he’s okay with us using this place.”
“Whoa, don’t scare me like that, Yuzuki-san!”
“Ahaha, sorry sorry. But it’s only ‘for now,’ okay?”
“What do you mean?”
“They’re doing renovations on the current sports club rooms over summer break, and apparently they’re gonna reassign leftover classrooms to clubs. So if a club doesn’t have much activity record, they’re saying they’ll make them use a regular classroom instead.”
“What the heck? That’s so biased toward the sports clubs.”
Mizuki-san, who’d been listening quietly, said it like she really hated the idea. Yuzuki-san crossed her arms too and went, “Seriously. It’s unfair as hell.”
“So basically, if we build up a solid record, they won’t kick us out, right?”
“Yeah, pretty much. Inoue-sensei suggested maybe entering some contest or whatever.”
“Wait, like… win an award or something?”
“Doesn’t have to go that far apparently. Mizuki, any contests we could enter by summer?”
The second Yuzuki-san asked, Mizuki-san grinned like she’d been waiting for that and turned the computer screen toward us.
“Perfect timing—there’s one just right. This is a newbie award starting right after the long weekend. Submission period’s exactly one month, and first-round results come out before summer break.”
“Whoa, there’s stuff like that?”
“Tendou-kun, you’re basically a real writer now, so at least keep up with this kinda thing. Rules are genre-free, completed works over 100,000 characters.”
“100,000 characters? That’s… we okay with that?”
Yuzuki-san’s face clouded over instantly.
But Mizuki-san looked totally chill in contrast.
“We’ve already got 20,000 done, and with a month left it’s plenty. Though yeah, most of the long weekend’s gonna go to writing.”
Then she flicked a quick glance at Yuzuki-san and smirked again.
“Oh. Well, can’t be helped, right? Plus, if you’ve got stuff to do, Mizuki might stay out of trouble for once.”
“Oh? Jealous? Well yeah, if we’re buried in the novel, you’ll be bored out of your mind, Yuzuki.”
“Keep acting all smug—if you get stuck and come begging for advice later, I’m ignoring you.”
They glared at each other for a second.
Then both huffed and looked away. I jumped in quick to change the subject.
“R-right, then… if we’re doing that, we gotta find a place where all three of us can meet up on days off.”
“Three? Two’s enough, isn’t it? Let’s just go back to that study room.”
Mizuki-san said it while side-eyeing Yuzuki-san again.
And Yuzuki-san reacted right away.
“Again? The study room? Oh—that upstairs part of the café, right? So you two really were there together last time?”
“Didn’t I mention it? Well, it’s my spot anyway, so no need to tell you, Yuzuki.”
“That place locks up after closing—you can’t leave. Remember when you fell asleep there in middle school and got stuck, then Mom flipped out?”
“That was middle school. I’m in high school now—staying out’s whatever.”
“No way that’s okay. Club member causing trouble and getting us shut down? Not funny.”
“Yeah yeah, I know. Just kidding. Anyway, today let’s talk about what we’re doing next… oh, it’s Mom.”
Mizuki-san looked at her phone and frowned hard.
“What’d Mom say?”
“Apparently a repair guy’s coming for the stove later, and she wants me to be there.”
“Wait, you broke the stove last time?”
“I-I didn’t break it! I just… spilled some eggs and stuff and clogged all the burner holes.”
“What were you even doing? Ugh, Mom’s gonna be in a bad mood, so go home first.”
“Ehh, if you’re leaving, let’s all go together?”
“We still gotta talk about next steps. Plus, if we empty the clubroom this early, the teacher might think we’re slacking. Come on, just go already.”
She shooed her with little waves of her hand.
Mizuki-san made this super sour face, stood up from the chair.
“Haa… Tendou-kun, see you tomorrow then.”
“Y-yeah. You okay?”
“I’m fine… but also not fine. I’m gonna get way better at cooking, okay?”
“Mizuki-san, you’re already plenty good. It tastes great.”
“Tendou-kun… yeah. Then Yuzuki can stay here and we’ll—”
“Mizuki.”
Yuzuki-san cut her off with a louder voice. Mizuki-san went, “Fine fine,” gave up, and walked out of the clubroom.
“Seriously, her cooking skills are something else.”
“Haha, well… everyone’s got one thing they’re bad at.”
“One thing, huh. Well… I’ll give her credit for trying to get better at it.”
Yuzuki-san sighed and sat down in the chair Mizuki-san had just left. I thought about asking her something.
The real reason Mizuki-san was trying so hard to fix her biggest weak spot in cooking.
Maybe… it was because there was someone she really wanted to make food for.
But I couldn’t ask.
If I asked and it wasn’t that, it’d just be embarrassing. And even if it was true, I didn’t have the guts to dig deeper into it anyway.
After that, Yuzuki-san told me all the details about what the teacher said.
Then the two of us left the clubroom together.
