The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 58-59
Chapter 58
♤
“Hey, Asuka. Still lookin’ bored as ever, huh.”
After I split from Ayaha-san, I headed to the conbini and spotted Nakanishi in his club jersey, eating an ice cream right outside the store.
“You’re the one who looks bored.”
“Nah, practice wrapped up early today. We’ve got matches crammed into the long weekend, so it’s just adjustment stuff.”
“Having games the whole break sounds brutal, man.”
“Well, that’s youth for ya. Anyway, I heard you got into it with Itoi, right?”
“Itoi?”
“The tennis club guy. Y’know, the one who’s super into Ayaha-chan.”
“Ohhh, that dude. Nah, I just told him to stop bugging Ayaha-san so much.”
“Really? ‘Cause apparently Itoi’s been going around telling everyone, ‘Don’t mess with that guy, he’s bad news, seriously stay away.’”
“What the hell? If anyone’s bad news, it’s him.”
“Haha, no doubt. I’ve known Itoi since middle school and the dude seriously can’t get girls. Not that I’m one to talk.”
Nakanishi stuck the ice cream stick in his mouth like it was a cigarette and grinned. “But man… I wanna fall in love too, y’know.”
“You’ve probably got someone, right? C’mon.”
“When the guy who’s got the two most popular girls in school hanging off him at the same time says that, it kinda stings.”
“I’m not making them hang off me, dude.”
“Speaking of, you’re not going on a date with those two today or anything?”
“D-date? Nah, nothing like that.”
“Hmm. Then wanna come over later? A few of us are getting together to play some games.”
“For real? That sounds fun… ah, but nah, can’t today.”
“What, so it is a date.”
“N-no, it’s not! But, uh… Grandma’s got plans and stuff.”
“Hmm. Sure, we’ll go with that.”
He gave me this knowing smirk, then headed off still grinning.
That guy looks chill, but he’s actually pretty sharp sometimes.
Still, it’d be a pain if he started getting the wrong idea, so I’m glad I didn’t mention Mizuki-san being over at my place.
“…Oh, Line.”
Right then, a message popped up from Mizuki-san: ‘Just finished up~’
I was thinking maybe grab something to eat on the way back, but since she went through all the trouble of cooking, I figured I’d just head straight home.
In the end I skipped the conbini and turned back toward the house.
◇
“I’m home—”
When I got back, a really nice smell was already floating all the way to the front door.
“Welcome back, Tendou-kun. The omurice just finished up. Oh, and the beef stew for dinner’s ready too—give it a quick taste.”
Mizuki-san came rushing over still in her apron, all busy and flustered, but she didn’t really stop to chat—she just darted right back to the kitchen.
As she passed, I caught a quick glimpse of the bandage stuck on her hand.
She’s really putting in the effort.
That’s pretty impressive, Mizuki-san.
She seems like a total natural genius, but yeah… she’s working hard too.
Guess I shouldn’t just slack off just ‘cause it’s a day off. Gotta step it up.
“Over here, Tendou-kun.”
When I walked into the kitchen, there were three plates of omurice lined up on the table.
And the one she told me to sit in front of…
“…Omurice?”
The other two were the classic kind—neatly wrapped in a perfect egg blanket.
But mine? It looked like scrambled eggs that got even more scrambled, then just dumped and splattered all over the ketchup rice.
“U-um… I think for my first try, it came out pretty okay. And, uh, the taste should be fine, I hope.”
Mizuki-san sat down next to me looking super awkward.
Yeah, the look was rough, but it actually smelled really good.
She did say it was her first time.
I always pictured her as someone who could do anything, but hey—even Mizuki-san’s human.
“Yeah, let’s eat.”
“Hehe, Asuka, hold on. Okay, everyone—let’s eat!”
The three of us put our hands together.
I went ahead and took a bite of the omurice she made.
“…Mmm.”
“H-how is it? Your stomach okay?”
“Nah, it’s good. Looks kinda messy, but the flavor’s exactly like Grandma’s.”
“Hehe, really? No dizziness or anything?”
“Why would there be? Yeah, it’s tasty. The egg texture’s actually kinda nice too, surprisingly.”
I mean, saying “surprisingly” sounds rude, but honestly, even though it looked like a disaster, the taste was totally my thing.
I started scarfing it down, bite after bite, and when I glanced over, Mizuki-san was eating hers while staring at me all curious-like.
“Is it really that good?”
“Huh? Yeah. And, like… it just feels super carefully made. It’s very you, y’know.”
“…It tastes like me?”
“Huh? What?”
“Ah, n-nothing. Grandma was right there teaching me the whole time.”
“Hehe, Mizuki-chan worked really hard. Asuka, you’re lucky, huh.”
“Yeah. Seriously good.”
“But Asuka’s pretty good at this too.”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“Hehe, that part of you is just like your grandpa back in the day.”
Grandma kept looking over at Mizuki-san and nodding to herself.
She usually eats very slow, but today she finished fast, then said, “I got a little carried away, so I’m gonna go rest,” and headed out of the room first.

Chapter 59
♡
“Ei, urya, go—!”
Today Mizuki was out since morning, so I came to the batting center all by myself.
I kept swinging at the targets I couldn’t hit yesterday, sending ball after ball flying, but none of them reached yet.
“Haa… gonna take a quick break.”
When I stepped out of the cage once, the waiting area had way more people than usual.
And yeah, on days off it’s always packed with couples.
I never really thought anything of it before, just quietly hitting balls by myself in the middle of all that.
“…Maybe I should head home.”
All of a sudden it felt kinda empty, so I left the place early.
Probably ‘cause I was here with Tendou-kun yesterday, being alone now just hits different—like super lonely.
Bowling, batting center, even running… I’ve always done it solo.
Mizuki doesn’t do sports at all, and my other friends are busy with club stuff.
I’ve been alone the whole time.
“…Wonder if those two are cooking together right now or something.”
I told Mizuki yesterday I wouldn’t get in the way.
She fell for Tendou-kun first, after all.
And she’s the one putting in the most effort too.
Today she’s even tackling cooking—something she’s hated forever and swore she’d never do.
She’s dead serious.
Ayaha’s the same—bringing him to her dad’s shop and everything, no holding back.
So what about me?
I’ve been honest with my feelings at least, but when it comes to actually doing stuff, I’m still just acting tough all the time.
If Mizuki ends up dating Tendou-kun like this, am I really not gonna regret it?
Will I be able to tell myself it’s fine ‘cause it was a fair fight and she won?
…I gotta be way more honest with myself.
“…I can at least cook too, y’know.”
❤︎
“Thanks for the food. The beef stew was perfect too.”
Tendou-kun finished every single dish I put out and looked totally full, which left me feeling just as stuffed—in a good way.
“No no, I’ve still got a long way to go. So… starting next week, can I make bentos for you, Tendou-kun?”
“Huh? For me? Nah, that’s too much—I’d feel bad.”
“It’s fine, it’s fine. Cooking’s kinda pointless if no one’s eating it, right? And I already cleared it with Grandma—she said if you’re okay with it, she’s cool.”
“I mean… are you really sure? Making bentos means getting up super early and all that. Isn’t it a lot?”
“Not at all. Just… even if they’re a little sloppy at first, you’ll eat them properly, right?”
“O-of course! And what I just ate was all delicious anyway—nothing sloppy about it.”
“Hehe, thanks. Okay, I’ll clean up and head home then. I got a bit too hyped up and now I’m wiped.”
She let out a little “fuu” and wiped her forehead.
Her hand had a bunch of bandages stuck all over it.
“Mizuki-san, you okay?”
“Ah, sorry. I’m totally fine. Hey, before I go, I wanna say bye to Grandma too—is she still resting?”
“Mm, I think she’s just watching TV in her room. I’ll go get her.”
“Sorry, that’d be great. I’ll make some tea in the meantime.”
While I went to call Grandma, I couldn’t help thinking about how tired Mizuki-san’s face looked.
Man, she really is such a hard worker.
Being able to write novels with someone like her… I’m seriously lucky.
I gotta step up my game too so she doesn’t get fed up with me.
“Grandma—Mizuki-san’s heading home.”
“Oh, is she? Hang on just a sec.”
Grandma came out, and when we got back to the kitchen, Mizuki-san already had warm tea ready for all of us.
“Ah, Grandma. Thank you so much for today. Can I come back and learn more sometime?”
“Of course, dear. Come over anytime.”
“Y-yes!”
Watching the two of them—already super comfortable with each other—felt kinda heartwarming.
Even right up to when she left, Mizuki-san kept chatting with Grandma instead of me, which was somehow kinda new and fresh.
I offered to walk her home, but she said it was still bright out so she was good, and turned it down.
After Mizuki-san left, I didn’t really have anything else to do, so I shut myself in my room and worked on the next part of the novel.
Before long the sun went down, and the day was over.
