The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 43-44
Chapter 43
“…I’ve got this really bad feeling, y’know.”
Today Tendou-kun’s out on his date with Ayaha.
After school, for once it was just me and Mizuki in the club room, and she said it all uneasy-like.
“I’m fidgety too, okay? But we decided on this, so we just gotta wait it out.”
“Of course I trust Tendou-kun. So like, there’s zero chance I’m thinking what if Ayaha confesses her love and he—being totally clueless about girls—falls for it hook, line, and sinker. Nope, not even a tiny bit.”
“You’re not trusting him at all…”
“B-because obviously it sucks when the guy you like is out with another girl! You really don’t feel anything, Yuzuki?”
“I…”
I tried imagining what Ayaha and Tendou-kun might be doing right now.
My stomach twisted with this weird irritation.
“It pisses me off… both of them.”
“Oh wow, maybe you’re worse off than me?”
“It’s just making me so freaking mad. If I ran into those two together right now…”
“You’d slap ’em?”
“I’d stab ’em.”
“…Huh?”
“I-I mean, like, hypothetically. Just… looking at them would make me sick.”
Obviously I’m not actually gonna do anything that crazy.
What even is this dark feeling? I’ve never felt anything like it before.
“We really are sisters, huh.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing, never mind. Just… don’t stab me tomorrow, okay?”
“I wouldn’t, that’s rude. But seriously, what’re they even doing?”
“Maybe I should check in a little. I’ll send him a LINE.”
Mizuki messaged Tendou-kun.
While we waited for his reply, we both went back to whatever we were doing.
♤
“Tendou-kun, hand over your phone.”
Right after I got back from the bathroom, Ayaha held her hand out.
“Huh? Why?”
“When you’re on a date with a girl, it’s better for your likability if you don’t touch your phone. Right, Papa?”
“Pretty much. Guys who play on their phones during dates tend to get disliked by women.”
“Oh… really?”
“Exactly. So I’ll hold onto it for now.”
Ayaha took my phone and set it facedown at the far end of the counter.
“Okay then, let’s just talk slow and easy. Can I ask you something first?”
“Yeah, what?”
“You’re pretty close with both Mizuki and Yuzuki, right?”
“Well, yeah—we’re in the same club. Mizuki-san and I have similar tastes, and Yuzuki-san’s my classmate.”
“Gotcha, gotcha. So… which one do you like?”
“…Huh?”
“Don’t play dumb. Don’t tell me it’s both?”
“Wh-what’re you talking about? They’re just friends to me.”
“I’m the type who doesn’t believe in guy-girl friendships.”
She smiled all sweet, but her eyes looked kinda cloudy deep down.
“…Is this about that guy from before?”
“Itoi. We met when we started high school and got pretty close. But turns out he wasn’t seeing me as a friend—he saw me as a girl.”
“So that’s why he kept pushing and it bugged you.”
“Yeah. A bunch of times. I kept saying ‘just as friends,’ but he didn’t want that. Once one side starts liking the other for real, the whole friendship falls apart anyway.”
While Ayaha talked, her dad standing behind the counter kept nodding like “mm-hmm.”
“I’ve seen a ton of adult men and women, and cases like Ayaha’s are super common. There are exceptions, sure.”
“Like what?”
“Big age gaps or something, maybe. Point is, when you go out alone with a girl, you should pick carefully.”
Ayaha’s dad headed to the back again.
And then it hit me.
“Um, Ayaha-san.”
“Hmm? What? We’re all alone now.”
“Y-yeah, that’s kinda the thing. If you don’t believe guy-girl friendships exist, then… isn’t it bad for us to be hanging out like this too?”
“Hmm? What do you mean?”
“I mean, I see you as a friend.”
“There you go with the polite talk again. And anyway, I wouldn’t mind at all if you got the wrong idea about me.”
“Huh?”
“Because…”
She propped her cheek on her hand.
Tilted her head a little and looked right at me, a small smile on her lips.
“I like you, Tendou-kun.”

Chapter 44
❤︎
“Ah!”
I was jotting down a sudden idea in my notes when the lead in my mechanical pencil snapped with a loud crack.
“This feels bad.”
“What’s wrong, Mizuki? Did Tendou-kun message you?”
“Nope, nothing. But I’ve just got this really bad vibe, y’know.”
“Bad vibe? Like… something happened between Ayaha and Tendou-kun?”
“I’m not psychic, so how would I know? But no word for a whole hour? That’s kinda worrying.”
While I was fidgeting like crazy, Yuzuki snapped her book shut and stood up.
“You know where Ayaha’s house is?”
“Huh? Y-yeah, I’ve been over a couple times to hang out, so yeah… wait, you’re not actually planning to go there, are you?”
“Obviously.”
“B-but they might not even be at her house.”
“If they’re not, then whatever. No way they’d go to a hotel in uniform anyway. But if she dragged Tendou-kun back to her place, that’s totally cheating.”
“R-really?”
“Duh. This whole date thing is supposed to be about giving him different experiences for the novel. You said no unnecessary stuff, Mizuki… wait, don’t tell me you were planning that too.”
“N-no way! You’re home anyway.”
“Oh yeah, true. Okay, whatever—we’re going to Ayaha’s house.”
Yuzuki marched right out of the club room.
I hurried after her, and we left the school building together at a fast walk.
The sports clubs were practicing out on the field right then.
And yeah, the soccer team was there too.
Obviously.
“…So that’s Sudo over there?”
“Yeah. Acting all chill and practicing after doing crap like that? I can’t stand it. Still pisses me off.”
“That guy said he liked me, right? Even though we’ve never even talked.”
“Yep. Lied to the teacher, even tried to pin everything on Tendou-kun—that total piece of trash.”
“I’m so irritated today. Yuzuki, wanna do it together for the first time in forever?”
“I really wanna hurry, but if we stay this pissed… how about we remind everyone why they used to call us the ‘Unconquerable Split’?”
We locked eyes for a second.
Then high-fived and headed straight toward where the soccer team was practicing.
A few guys stopped moving and stared at us.
Sudo too, obviously.
His face went pale the second he saw Yuzuki—guess he still felt pretty guilty.
But that’s nothing compared to what Tendou-kun went through.
“Sudo-senpaaai!”
I yelled it loud enough for the whole field to hear.
Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked back and forth between Sudo and me.
Some of them were smirking.
Probably thinking I was some fan of that garbage or something.
Yeah, no chance.
I already belong to Tendou-kun.
“Wh-what the hell…?”
Only Sudo seemed to sense the danger and came over slowly, all nervous.
We stood side by side and took turns shouting at the top of our lungs.
“Sudo-senpai, we’re reporting to the education board that you covered up punching Tendou-kun that day!”
“Sudo-senpai, we’re telling every girl in school how you’ve been staring at us with creepy eyes!”
Our voices echoed all across the field.
Kids from other clubs and people heading home all stopped to stare.
“Wh-what’re you talking about… th-that was him starting it—”
Sudo came rushing over in a panic.
Seeing how he still wouldn’t own up to it just made us both even madder.
Yuzuki beat me to it.
“Tomorrow you’re gonna get on your knees and apologize to Tendou-kun, you piece of trash! Then spill everything to the teacher and shave your head bald, you idiot!”
She let it all out.
Yuzuki looked super satisfied next to me and gave my back a light smack.
“Sudo-senpai.”
I stepped forward a couple paces and called him again.
“Y-yeah… uh, Mizuki, right?”
“Yeah, nice to meet you. And can you stop calling me by my first name? It makes me wanna puke.”
“Ah…”
“You’re so pathetic, seriously. Judging people by looks, hurting them, then hurting the person who matters most to us. I said buzz cut earlier? Nah—five-millimeter buzz. By tomorrow, no excuses. Otherwise…”
I turned back toward Yuzuki.
Forcing myself to look one more time at the face I never wanted to see again.
“I’ll kill you.”
We left that on the field and walked away.
