The S-Class Beautiful Sisters at My New School Somehow Got Super Attached to Me and Ended Up Becoming Yandere Without Me Even Realizing It - Chapter 25-26
Chapter 25
“W-what should I do…?”
“Just leave her alone. It’s the usual thing with her.”
Yuzuki-san said that calmly to me while I was all flustered.
“Even if you say it’s the usual thing…”
“That girl just blows up like that whenever someone hits her sore spot. She usually acts all mature, but deep down she’s actually pretty childish.”
“…I’m gonna go look for her.”
“No need for that. She might’ve already gone home anyway, and I’ll take care of the bags.”
“No, this isn’t okay. I don’t want the two of you fighting or anything.”
As I tried to leave the clubroom despite Yuzuki-san trying to stop me,
“Wait.”
She called out and stopped me.
“Wh-what?”
“…If she didn’t go home, she’s probably up on the rooftop.”
“Is that, like, some twin intuition thing?”
“Nah. Back in middle school when we fought, she’d always go up there alone and cry.”
“Oh… okay. I’ll be right back.”
When I left the clubroom, I had the feeling Yuzuki-san said something else, but I was so worried about Mizuki-san that I didn’t stop at all.
I hurried toward the rooftop.
♡
“Idiot.”
While watching Tendou-kun rush out of the clubroom in a panic.
I said it toward him.
And toward myself too.
Seriously, what an idiot.
Mizuki just wants attention, that’s all.
There’s no reason to keep spoiling her like that.
And besides.
Why did I even tell him the place she’d probably go?
I could’ve just said twin intuition told me she went straight home.
Ugh, this sucks.
…Wonder when he’ll come back.
❤︎
“Idiot.”
Toward Yuzuki.
And toward Tendou-kun too.
Both of them treating me like I’m stupid.
Sure, I’m good at writing difficult sentences, but coming up with fun stories is really hard for me.
I’m at least aware of that much.
For the past two years I’ve been posting novels online nonstop and entering contests, but nothing ever takes off.
At first I thought everyone just had bad taste, but deep down I know exactly what’s wrong.
I know.
But still… at least in front of Tendou-kun, I wanted to look cool.
At least in front of Yuzuki, I wanted to be the impressive big sister.
“Ah, there you are! Mizuki-san!”
“…Tendou-kun?”
I was standing alone on the rooftop when I heard his voice.
I turned around and saw him bent over with his hands on his knees, breathing hard.
I stared at him wide-eyed for a second, then quickly looked away.
“Haa… thank god, you didn’t go home.”
“What? Just leave me alone.”
“…Sorry about earlier. But I really wanted to talk to you properly, Mizuki-san.”
His eyes were unusually serious as he looked straight at me.
And strong.
“…What is it? I’m not running away anymore, so just say it.”
“Um, to be honest… I didn’t really understand your novel that much either, Mizuki-san.”
“…Huh?”
“B-but! There are tons of good parts too! Your writing is way… no, like, incomparably better than mine. And since we’re in the same club, maybe if we gave each other advice we could make even better stuff… ah, wait, I’d probably just be the one getting advice all the time though.”
Seeing him suddenly get all flustered and start making excuses, I couldn’t help it—I laughed.
“Pfft, what’s that supposed to mean? Are you comforting me or insulting me? I can’t even tell.”
“S-sorry… I’m bad at saying this stuff.”
“Seriously, everyone’s just straight-up saying my work isn’t interesting. That’s rude as hell.”
“…I think Yuzuki-san probably said that harsh stuff on purpose because she believes you can do way better.”
“What do you think, Tendou-kun?”
“Huh?”
“Do I have no talent?”
I looked straight at him too, seriously this time.
He was probably just being considerate earlier, but that’s not what I wanted.
I wanted a real, honest opinion.
“…Mizuki-san is amazing.”
“Not just flattery?”
“Writing that beautifully is impossible for a normal high schooler. That alone is talent.”
“But the story still needs a lot of work, right?”
“W-well, that’s…”
“Hehe, kidding, kidding. Sorry for putting you on the spot. And thanks for worrying and coming to find me.”
“Uh, yeah. So… should we head back? Yuzuki-san’s waiting too.”
“…Yeah.”
While slowly following behind him as he walked ahead with a relieved look on his face.
Watching his back from a little distance.
Watching how he kept turning around every now and then to check if I was okay.
My body started feeling hot.
My chest felt tight.
This feeling was completely different from the admiration I used to have for that upperclassman back then.
What I thought was my first love… probably wasn’t.
Right now.
“…Tendou-kun.”
For the first time, I realized I was in love.

Chapter 26
♤
“Heyyy, I’ve been waiting here forever, y’know—”
When I got back to the clubroom, Yuzuki-san was sitting in a chair, swinging her legs back and forth looking totally bored.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Yuzuki-san.”
“So, where’s Mizuki?”
“Uh, Mizuki-san was coming with me… huh?”
I turned around and realized she wasn’t there anymore.
When I stepped outside for a second, I found Mizuki-san hiding behind the shadow of the clubroom door.
“Mizuki-san.”
“…This is so awkward.”
“It’s fine, I’m right here too.”
“…Mm.”
Mizuki-san reluctantly came into the clubroom.
As soon as she and Yuzuki-san faced each other, Yuzuki-san spoke first.
“Sorry about earlier. I went too far.”
“…No, I’m the one who threw a tantrum. Sorry. What you said was totally right, Yuzuki.”
They both bowed their heads to each other.
When they looked up again, their eyes met and they both started laughing.
“Hehe, seriously, Mizuki, you’ve always been such a sulky little kid.”
“You’re one to talk, Yuzuki. You gotta do something about that habit of just blurting out whatever you’re thinking. You’re gonna lose all your friends.”
They were both being kinda stubborn, but it looked like they’d made up, which was a relief.
I let out a quiet breath, feeling better, and then both of them turned to look at me.
“Hey, more importantly, we gotta get to the stuff we need to do.”
“Oh yeah, right. Um, Yuzuki-san, about the novel thing—”
“I actually have a suggestion first.”
Mizuki-san cut in right away.
“What is it, Mizuki?”
“After reading it earlier, I realized something. Tendou-kun, you come up with really fun ideas. But your writing… it’s not really at the level where you could call it a proper novel yet. Meanwhile, I’m confident in my writing skills, but I’m seriously lacking when it comes to interesting ideas.”
“So what? If we don’t actually make something decent, the clubroom’s gonna—”
“That’s why we should co-write. Me and Tendou-kun. The two of us as one writer.”
Mizuki-san smiled at me while she said it.
“Right, Tendou-kun?”
“Uh, w-wait, really?”
“You said it yourself earlier, didn’t you? That we can fill in each other’s missing parts and become proper writers together.”
Did I say that?
Well… I guess I said something kinda like that…
“W-wait a sec. Then what am I supposed to do?”
“Yuzuki, you can just read our stuff and give us your honest thoughts. And handle the teacher stuff as club president. Okay, let’s get started right away, Tendou-kun.”
“Wait, don’t just decide everything yourself!”
“Oh? Got a better idea then, Yuzuki?”
“Well… no, but still.”
When Yuzuki-san trailed off, Mizuki-san sat down in a chair, crossed her legs, and went, “Come on, Tendou-kun, over here.”
While Yuzuki-san looked kinda annoyed, I nervously sat down across from Mizuki-san.
“You could’ve sat next to me, y’know.”
“Th-that’s a bit much…”
“Oh? Well, maybe this way’s better anyway. I can see your face more clearly like this.”
Mizuki-san narrowed her big eyes and smiled at me, and when our eyes met, I quickly looked away a little.
Up close like this… yeah, she really was ridiculously pretty.
Honestly, just her looks alone would probably get her noticed as a writer…
“Um, sorry to interrupt while you’re busy…”
Yuzuki-san plopped down right next to Mizuki-san with a thud.
“What? You’re getting in the way.”
“I’m not trying to get in the way. I’m just saying… isn’t it kinda inefficient for the two of you to sit here writing together every single day?”
“Why?”
“Because Mizuki… I mean, first we need Tendou-kun to come up with ideas, right? And for that, both me and you would just be distractions.”
Mizuki-san looked at Yuzuki-san and went, “Ohhh, I see what you’re getting at. Makes sense.”
“Okay, fine. Then I’ll just work on my own stuff over there. Whenever I finish something, I’ll show you guys. What about you, Yuzuki?”
“I’m supposed to give proper feedback, right? So I’ll stay here and read books to build up my knowledge so I can actually evaluate things properly.”
“Hmm. You’re actually thinking pretty sharp today.”
“And you’re the one who comes up with sneaky ideas super fast.”
They were both smiling only with their mouths, but their eyes were glaring at each other like crazy.
“Uh, hey, both of you calm down a bit.”
“Hmph. I’m always calm. Tendou-kun, if you ever get stuck, just ask me for advice anytime, okay?”
Mizuki-san said that and then picked up her chair and moved to a different table farther away.
“Seriously, Mizuki… Tendou-kun, when you finish the book you’re reading now, let me know what you want next, okay?”
Yuzuki-san also went to a spot a little farther away and quietly started reading a book.
And me? I just stayed where I was, pulled out a blank manuscript sheet…
And that’s how each of us started doing our own thing.
