Seda leaned over to Ayano and whispered, “Watch and learn, sis. This is where intelligence and strategy come into play.”
As the bidding began, Seda carefully studied her competition. She analyzed their body language, their facial expressions, and even their bidding patterns, looking for any clues as to who they were and what their motives might be.
With each bid, Seda calculated her next move, taking into account the current bid, the value of the item, and the potential buyers. She strategically raised the bid in increments, ensuring that she didn’t overshoot the price and waste their resources.
Ayano watched in awe as Seda outsmarted their competition, using her quick thinking and sharp analytical skills to stay ahead of the game.
As the bidding continued, Seda noticed that one of the bidders, a tall man in a suit, seemed to be getting increasingly agitated. He kept glancing at his watch and checking his phone, as if he had somewhere else to be.
Seda sensed an opportunity and decided to push him further. She raised the bid again, putting the pressure on him to either match it or back out. To her surprise, he matched it, but not before giving her a suspicious look.
As the bidding came to an end, Seda and Ayano emerged as the winners, with the tall man in the suit as the runner-up. Seda approached him and introduced herself, hoping to gain some insight into who he was and what he wanted with the item they just bought.
The man introduced himself as a representative of a powerful criminal organization, and told Seda that they were interested in the item for its potential use in their illegal operations. Seda feigned interest, playing along and gathering information about the organization’s plans and activities.
Seda’s heart raced with excitement as she uncovered the identity of the man responsible for selling the right to Adriel. It had only taken her a few minutes of digging to discover his name: Darlan. With a deep breath, she relayed the information to Ayano, who looked both relieved and determined to find her missing boyfriend.
As Seda and Ayano sat in the auction house, they plotted their next move. They knew that they had to act fast before it was too late, and they were determined to take matters into their own hands.
Seda and Ayano made their way to the basement of the auction house, where Peter was being held captive. Seda’s mind raced with possibilities as she scanned the area for any signs of danger. She knew that they had to be careful and avoid any traps or guards that might be lurking in the shadows.
With a wave of her hand, Seda conjured a small ball of light, illuminating the dimly lit hallway. Ayano followed closely behind, her heart pounding with fear and anticipation. They approached a heavy metal door, which Seda easily unlocked with a simple spell.
Inside, they found Peter tied up and gagged, looking weak and frightened. Ayano rushed over to him, tears streaming down her face as she untied him and held him close.
Seda stood guard, keeping watch for any sign of trouble. She could sense the presence of dark magic in the room, and knew that they had to get out quickly before the owner of the auction house or any of his henchmen discovered them.
With another wave of her hand, Seda created a portal, transporting them to a safe location far away from the auction house. They emerged in a deserted alley, with the sounds of the city echoing in the distance.
Ayano and Peter hugged each other tightly, both relieved and grateful to be reunited. Seda smiled, feeling a sense of pride and satisfaction at their successful mission.
“You damn bastard,” Ayano punched Peter on the arm, her face contorting with anger. “Why did you run away and make me worry like that?”
Peter winced slightly, but couldn’t help but smile at Ayano’s adorable pouty expression. Even in moments of anger, she was still so cute to him.
“Come on, let’s get out of here,” Seda interjected, trying to steer the conversation away from their bickering. “We can talk more once we’re somewhere safe.”
As they made their way out of the auction house, Ayano couldn’t help but cling tightly to Peter’s arm. She had been so worried about him, and now that he was finally safe, she didn’t want to let him out of her sight again.
“Now we’re in the sister hug phase,” Ayano said, her arms wrapped tightly around Peter’s waist. She buried her face in his chest, her heart racing with excitement and nerves.
Seda couldn’t help but smile at her sister’s shyness. “Aww, look at you, Ayano! You’re so cute when you’re all flustered.”
Ayano’s face turned even redder, but she didn’t let go of Peter. She held him tight, feeling safe and loved in his arms.
Seda chuckled and continued, “But seriously, let’s get out of here before someone realizes what we’ve done. I don’t want to deal with any more trouble today.”
Ayano nodded, reluctantly letting go of Peter. But as they walked out of the building, she couldn’t help but steal another quick hug from him, this time with a small smile on her face.
