The Priest of Complete Dispel ~ Every Time I Save a Cursed Beautiful Girl with My Status Abnormal Cure Skill, For Some Reason Her Dependence on Me Maxes Out ~ - Chapter 30: Disguise
Chapter 30: Disguise
“…Maybe I overdid it a bit.”
Morning arrived, and Iris, Medina, and I poked our heads out of the carriage together.
But perhaps due to the lingering effects of yesterday, I was feeling a bit drained. Two days in a row of pushing my body to the limit had left me exhausted to the core.
On the other hand, Iris and Medina looked radiant, their skin glowing and their expressions oddly refreshed. …It was almost infuriatingly enviable. Though, their legs were trembling like newborn fawns.
Last night, my first time with Iris had unexpectedly revealed something.
The bodies of saints and saint candidates are special, endowed from birth with a holy membrane in place of a hymen, which only a unique individual can pierce. Furthermore—they are incapable of bearing children.
That must be why none of those old hags had kids.
It seemed I was that unique individual, as I was able to break through Iris’s holy membrane.
But the other matter—whether she could conceive a child—was something even I didn’t know yet.
Apparently, there’s a record of a saint giving birth once, hundreds of years ago, but that’s about the only example left.
Iris had a wish to one day bear a child.
In my fervor to fulfill that wish, I ended up pouring myself into her five times.
…Looking back, that might’ve been a bit reckless.
If Iris actually did conceive—would it affect her qualifications as a saint? That was the only thing worrying me now.
When I approached the campfire, Glen and the others were already preparing breakfast.
“Morning, Shu. …What’s wrong? You look kinda out of it.”
“Do I? …Well, I might’ve overdone it yesterday…”
“Overdone it? What’re you talking about?”
“Nothing, just talking to myself.”
“Alright… But Iris and Medina seem oddly energetic.”
“Yeah, I bet.”
I could only brush it off vaguely to avoid sparking any unnecessary speculation from Glen.
After a quick breakfast, we split up into two carriages again and set off for the next village. We were supposed to reach it by the end of the day.

“—Erina, something wrong? Your face has been red since this morning…”
The one who spoke was Garo, the tank of the Silver Blade party.
Right now, Glen and Risia were sitting at the coachman’s seat, while Garo and Erina were inside the carriage.
“No… there’s no need to worry. I’m not feeling ill or anything.”
“Alright. But if something’s up, don’t hesitate to say so.”
“Yes… —Garo, may I ask you something?”
Erina looked up at Garo, whose massive frame dwarfed hers, and hesitated before speaking.
“You… left a lover back in your hometown, didn’t you?”
“Yeah, my childhood friend. …She probably wants me to come back, but I still have things I want to do out here.”
“I… see.”
“Luckily, this party makes time to visit home regularly, so that helps.”
Glen and Risia are lovers. Garo has his childhood sweetheart.
—In other words, Erina was the only one in Silver Blade without a lover. She’d never had such a connection before.
“…Could it be, Erina, you’re wanting a lover too?”
“N-no! That’s not what I meant at all…!”
“Haha, you’re beautiful, Erina. You’d find someone in no time.”
“I said, don’t just assume things!”
“Hahaha, my bad. It’s just rare to hear you talk about stuff like this.”
Garo laughed it off heartily.
But in Erina’s heart, far more provocative thoughts were swirling.
(This huge body… His lover was supposed to be petite, wasn’t she…? With such a size difference, how do they even spend their nights…? N-no, what am I thinking?! It’s all because of what I saw last night…!)
Yes—last night, Erina had accidentally witnessed Shu, Iris, and Medina in the act.
Since then, every time she saw their faces, the scene flooded back into her mind, making it impossible to face them directly. She’d even eaten breakfast as far away from them as possible.
(…But they’re not lovers, right…? If that’s the case, it was just indulging in pleasure for comfort…)
Erina’s mind remained tinged with pink fantasies for quite some time.

Six days later, we finally reached the last village closest to the adventuring city of Hares.
The journey was supposed to take a week, but we were already a few days behind.
The villages we stopped at along the way were all small farming communities, much like Poan.
The villagers sold crops to merchants in the city and paid taxes to the lord. The lord, apparently an Eastern Border Earl, governed the entire region east of Hares.
My hometown, Iasis Village, seemed to be an exception among exceptions. Those old geezers probably never paid taxes.
And now, we were at a clothing store in the village.
The goal was simple—disguise.
“Hey, Iris. Are you sure the Bulldog guys didn’t see that outfit?”
“Honestly, I’m not sure. I used perception-blocking magic, but… it’s not foolproof.”
“Then don’t you think you should change?”
“Well… as a saint candidate, I can’t just change my clothes…”
Iris hadn’t made any plans.
It seemed she intended to charge into Hares without much thought. But that was far too dangerous.
The enemy was likely at the archbishop level. At worst, they could be controlling all of Hares.
“No way, that’s obviously risky. You need to disguise yourself.”
“Grr… if Shu-sama insists…”
“Alright, let’s find some clothes.”
And so, we began browsing the clothing store.
“By the way, did Glen and the others get their armor in Hares?”
The village shop only had everyday clothes. In contrast, Glen and his party’s gear was clearly professional adventurer-grade.
“Yeah. Though some of it was custom-made by a blacksmith using monster materials. Like these gauntlets.”
“A blacksmith?! That’s different from an alchemist, right?”
“Of course. Want me to show you around when we get to Hares?”
“Seriously?! That’d be awesome!”
I couldn’t contain my excitement, and my voice rose with enthusiasm.
After indulging in some daydreams, we resumed searching for Iris’s clothes.
There wasn’t any proper adventurer gear, but we found something close enough.
A white top and a wine-red antique-style dress for the bottom. Over it, a brown leather chest piece—sort of—and a utility belt for storage. Topped with a large cap worn low over her eyes, it was a solid adventurer look.
The moment I saw Iris try it on—
“Wow, Iris-sama, it looks amazing on you!”
“Yeah, it’s good. Really suits you.”
“I-Is that so…? I’ve only ever worn holy garments, so it feels a bit strange… But if Shu-sama and Medina-sama say so…”
Iris seemed a bit dissatisfied, but honestly, with her stunning looks, she’d stand out no matter what she wore.
Plus, the chest piece toned down her outrageously large breasts a bit. It was a miracle she’d gone this long without issue, considering how exposed she’d been.
“Hey, Medina, that outfit’s gotta be hard to move in too. Why don’t we pick something out for you?”
“W-what, me too?!”
“Yeah. I’ll cover the cost, so don’t worry.”
“…Tch, that’s so kind!”
For Medina, we chose a lightweight black outfit. Short pants for the bottom, with a belt that could hold a knife.
Add the hooded robe she already owned, and she looked like a bona fide assassin.
With that, both of their outfits were ready.
We stayed in the village for the night, and two days later—we were set to finally arrive in the adventuring city of Hares.
